After a long while, Dolores Flores was able to calm down. She pulled back from Matthew Nelsonâs arms, lowered her head and scratched the corner of her eye, âSorry for making you laugh at this.â
The truth was that it had been a while since she had been able to control her emotions.
Matthew liked the way she was, real and emotional.
He didnât hide his feelings, and with a smile tugging at the corner of his lips, âI like it.â He liked that she showed her real self and emotions in front of him.
Dolores lowered her head again, and didnât know how to respond.
The space became much smaller in an instant. She felt the air was thinner. Breathing became harder, and her face was hot.
âAre you blushing?â
Dolores pushed him away, wouldnât admit she was blushing, and said stubbornly, âThe one blushing is you.â
Matthew became unbalanced; he took a step back and accidentally stepped in a puddle of water behind him. His body tilted as he was about to fall. Dolores immediately went to catch him, but fell with himâ¦.. âAh!â came the sound, followed by a crash.
âKuh!â
Matthew groaned in pain. The bathroom space was not large. His head hit the wall, and that was not the most fatal thing. What made him almost die was Doloresâs elbow pressed against hisâ¦.
He thought, could it be worn out by now?
gαâηÏνððsâ¤Ã§Ð¾m, where stories thrive âYou, are you okay?â Dolores didnât know where his elbow was pressed against her elbow. She only heard Matthewâs growling voice.
âCan you get up first?â
Matthew raised his eyes, âDo you want to kill your husband?â Dolores was speechless.
Then she remembered that she had to support her body with her hands. Suddenly, she realized where her elbow was. It looked likeâ¦
She slowly lowered her head⦠and saw where his elbow was just barely pressing. It was against hersâ¦
In the room, Armand Bernie and Boyce Shawn stared at each other.
Then, acting as if they were synchronized, they ran to the bathroom door and opened itâ¦.
The whole world stopped.
Matthew was sitting on the floor while Dolores was slumped over his body, lookingâ¦.
Ahemâ
âWhat are they doing?â Armand didnât think it was a big deal. It was odd that Matthew would have a fuss, and how could Armand miss the opportunity to ridicule him.
âGet out!â
The look in his eyes was as cold as a blizzard, very intimidating.
Armand shrugged, not closing the door, for he wanted to take one more look.
Boyce glared at him and closed the door, âYouâre not afraid Matthew will kill you.â
Armand knew Matthew would do no such thing, smiling he replied, âTell me, what were they doing inside?â.
Boyce looked very serious, his hand on his chin, thinking, âCould it be that he canât wait any longer?â Poof!
Armand thought Boyce would reprimand him, but he was the one gossiping.
âDo you think Matthew got away with it?â Armand leaned toward Boyce.
Boyce looked at Armand and smiled expressively, âProbably not as fast as you and Theresa Gordon.â
Armand was speechless.
They were talking about Matthew, why was he being dragged into the conversation?
âBoyce Shawn!â Armand pretended to be angry, grabbed his collar and strangled him, âTell me, donât you dare do that again/â
âAre you sure you wonât let me go?â This was not a threat; it was a simple statement.
Boyceâs skills were real, and Armand was not really on his level.
Although Armand was recalcitrant, he knew his small physique was no match for him, so he let him go.
Bathroom.
Dolores was so embarrassed she wanted to hide somewhere.
âYou, are you all right?â worried though she was, her eyes didnât look at Matthew.
âLift me up.â Matthew held up his hand.
Dolores looked away and reached out to help him. She wasnât sure if it was because Matthew was too heavy; she realized she couldnât lift him.
After several attempts to lift him, she looked at him.
At the same time, Matthew was staring at her. He smiled and pushed effortlessly with his hands. Dolores fell again, and as she was getting up, Matthew held her down and wouldnât let her move.
Dolores mumbled, âWhat are you doing?â
She couldnât speak aloud because she didnât know what Armand and Boyce could be thinking. They had probably gotten the wrong idea.
Matthew kept smiling, grabbed her hand and squeezed her breast, talking serious nonsense, âIf I really canât do it anymore, what about your âSexual Happinessâ for the rest of your life?â Dolores was speechless.
Matthew squeezed her hand, and rubbed her chest, âI want to give you âSexual Happinessâ, what should I do?
Happinessâ, what should I do?â
Dolores blushed instantly. This person, could she be serious for a while?
âStop it.â Dolores tried to resist.
Matthew didnât let go and continued to press her hand. Dolores glared at him, âIf you donât stop, Iâm going to get angryâ¦â. Matthew was speechless.
Sometimes, this person was like that. When you acted kindly, he would push his luck. When you got angry, then he would get serious.
Bitch, this term was probably made for this type of person.
Dolores put her arm around his shoulder and hugged him.
It didnât matter, she was the one who made him fall. It was only fair that she help him up.
Matthew looked at her. He could actually get up on his own, but he liked the feeling of her being close to him.
He moved his body toward her.
Dolores opened the bathroom door. Armand and Boyce were having tea on the couch, and she was relieved after not seeing them âgossiping.â Fearing the atmosphere was embarrassing, she asked something on purpose, âWhatâs going on, how come Lacey had a child before?â
Even though when she was a minor?
Boyce put down the teacup, âThe rumor from the villagers is that Lacey was reckless and foolish at school. The Ward Family condemned her and wouldnât breed, soâ¦â
âIs that so?â Dolores thought Lacey wasnât the kind of person who didnât know the seriousness of things. Sixteen years old. The mind wasnât mature enough, but at least some common sense. How could she have a relationship with others and give birth to a child?
âOf course, I think there is something else. It happened a long time ago now and the Ward family seems to be hiding the matter. Iâm afraid we canât know any more about it.â Boyce used his experience to put some perspective on the matter. It seemed to him that things were not so simple, and where did Laceyâs hostility toward Dolores come from?
From her opening up her scars and making up a story of child abuse to scare her?
Dolores most likely knew why Lace hated her, âShe probably likes Charles, and thinks Iâm close to himâ¦â.
She helped Matthew sit on the couch, and sat down as well, âAlthough thereâs no proof at the moment, sheâs really suspicious. Itâs clear sheâs been at the hotel, but she denies it.â
âHow did she know?â asked Boyce.
âShe said so herself. To prove that Lacey wasnât the one who scared me, Charles brought Lacey in and confronted me. She said she had never been to the hotel.â
Armand became interested, âWhat is her relationship with Charles for him to protect her like this?â
