He closed the back door of the car, got into the driver’s seat and drove off.

When they got back to the hospital, Jolene came over as well. She sat in the passenger seat of a black car, next to a lovely looking man. Jayden couldn’t see through the windshield, but it was obvious that this man must be Jolene’s lover.

Jolene saw him too and said to the man beside her, “Stanley, you go back first.”

Stanley nodded, “Take care of yourself, call me if you need my help.” Jolene nodded and opened the door and got out of the car.

At that moment, Jayden got out as well. Their two gazes met. After a few seconds, Jayden withdrew his eyes. He turned around and opened the back door of the car. He stood silently as he lowered Victoria.

He was not in a good mood as was Victoria.

He walked up the steps and stopped after taking a few steps, “You can go back, I’ll take care of her today.”

Jolene caught up to him and stopped suddenly. She looked behind her back and said after being silent for a while, “Okay. Since it’s physically uncomfortable, it’s better if you stay in one place instead of going back and forth. When everything is settled… ”

“Since you’re so worried about it, why don’t you give birth yourself?” Suddenly, Jayden interrupted her that worried about her.

He looked straight at her, “Is that the person you like?”

Jolene pursed her lips, “Jayden, don’t be like that…”

Jayden scoffed and said, “What do you expect me to do, what do you want from me, my wife is dating another man, can’t I ask about that?”

Jolene’s eyes turned red, “I said before you fall in love with another woman, I won’t date him, it was just a meeting, I didn’t know I would run into you…”

After speaking, Jayden continued on his way.

He passed through the brightly lit hallway, which was filled with the smell of disinfectant. He soon returned to the living room with Victoria in his arms. The maid had thoroughly cleaned the room and was now arranging the flowers.

The doctor said that by putting some flowers and green plants in the room, the air would be fresher, which also calmed pregnant women.

So Jolene told him to buy some flowers and put them in the room.

Seeing them return, she stopped her work and lifted the blanket, “Did they come out just now?”.

Jayden was in a bad mood and said nothing. So was Victoria and there were even tears on her face.

They completely ignored the maid.

The maid was also observant, so she picked up the blanket and put it aside without another word.

“You can come out first, I’ll ask for help if I need it.” Jayden covered Victoria with the blanket.

The maid nodded. Then she went out and closed the door softly.

Jayden helped Victoria lie down, “Will it be uncomfortable?” Victoria shook her head.

Victoria looked at him. She knew he must be very upset, otherwise he wouldn’t question Jolene at the door.

After being hospitalized for a week, Victoria was discharged.

She could walk, but she couldn’t walk too often and needed more rest.

Because of physical discomfort, she moved downstairs. Jolene also stayed downstairs.

Jayden lived upstairs alone.

The teacher asked, ‘Why are there only two?’ The student replied, ‘There are only two countries, they are China and foreign countries.’ As a result, the class fell silent for the next second and then we all burst out laughing.”

Jolene laughed, “Your classmate was very funny.”

Victoria laughed too. At the same time she felt less depressed.

When Jayden returned, he saw the two girls laughing and joking happily in the living room. He felt like he was the most redundant member of the household now.

When they saw him, they stopped laughing. Jolene picked up the folded clothes, “I put them in the closet,” she said.

Victoria also got up and said, “Let me help you.”

The two people got up from the couch and went into the room while Jayden stood in the foyer and scowled at the two women who had left because they had seen him come in.
