Leaving the mansion, Coral looked at Samuel in her arms, “Let’s go to the supermarket. Don’t tell what happened here to your mom and dad, okay?”.

She had tricked Jessica with the excuse of going to the supermarket, and she was afraid that if she came back without buying anything Jessica would get suspicious.

Besides, this matter was still unresolved. If Jessica or Dolores found out about this, they might hinder the process, and no one could know when the truth would be revealed then.

Even though they had avoided talking about the test in front of him, Samuel still knew about it and that made him uncomfortable.

He pursed his lips tightly, “You doubt my identity?”.

Coral shook her head, “No.”

Samuel smiled; his face was full of disbelief.

Coral explained, “Your mom didn’t tell your dad about your identity. She must be mad at him. So we have to show proof and win him over, right?”.

It sounded like a legitimate reason. Samuel looked up at the sky, “I don’t know if Mom’s going to be mad when she finds out about this.”

“You want Mom and Dad to reconcile and for the four of them to live together as a family?” Coral asked him.

She wanted it.

Her sister had been smiling a lot more these days.

She also wanted a home and a family, a family that had mom, dad and grandparents, a complete family.

Coral smiled, knowing she was listening to her heart.

She helped him into the car and they went to the supermarket before heading to the villa.

In the afternoon, while Dolores and Matthew were still out and Jessica was playing with the children in the living room, Coral took Samuel’s lock of hair and found Matthew’s in the bathroom and gave them to Tomas.

“Master has said to take good care of the children.” Thomas relayed the order to Coral.

The outcome was not yet known, he did not want to go ahead and warn Dolores of his plan. He wanted to wait for proof.

“Calm him down. I’ll take care of them.”

“Okay.” Thomas left with the hair samples.

Coral returned to the villa.

It was as if their secret meeting had never happened.

Time flew quickly, and Dolores’ home branch of the custom design store LEO’s officially opened.

First thing in the morning, a flower delivery car pulled up and, one after another, they placed dozens of flower baskets at the door.

Theresa’s jaw dropped – who had sent them so many flowers?

She ran up to the man delivering them and asked, “Who sent them?”

“We’re just the delivery people. We don’t know who sent them. You can look to see if there’s a name on the greeting card.”

Theresa had already looked for it, but hadn’t found a name and so she had gone over to ask them. “Forget it.”

Wearing a purple suit, she walked away to go into the store. Later, people were going to come looking for Mrs. William, so he had to check on the arrangements. However, she had only taken two steps before another car pulled up to the door and a man brought out more flowers.

This time there were quite a few this time too. They were all large baskets of colorful, beautifully arranged, delicate-looking, bright flowers.

Soon, the space around the door was not enough and the baskets were placed next to the road.

Theresa walked over and saw the name that was written on one of the baskets this time. It was Boyce Shawn.

Boyce was not as astute as Armand. When the florist had asked him the name of the sender, he had said it bluntly.

This store was related to Dolores and they were best friends with Matthew, so naturally they had to make the opening a little big, so people would know that the owner had a strong backer.

Theresa probably understood who was sending them. She looked at the baskets of flowers lined up along the walkway and sighed, “It looks spectacular.”

The event hadn’t even started yet and the place already seemed lively.

Mrs. William wore a gorgeous royal blue dress and wore her hair in curls. This time she wore a diamond jewelry set studded with emeralds, which looked elegant and majestic.

Allison followed behind her, holding a bag in her hand. Dolores was busy checking the layout of the salon to see if there was anything to arrange. In the huge reception room, the right side was reserved for refreshments and drinks, and the opening ceremony was to be held on the left side, where the clothing display was arranged. In the center, a T-shaped stage was set up where a catwalk was to be held to showcase LEO’s work.

Although Dolores had no connections in China, she had some reputation in the industry. Coupled with Mrs. William’s connections and LEO’s reputation, many people were going to come today.

“Dolores!” Allison called out to her.

Checking and fixing the clothes tightly on the model’s body, Dolores turned her head to look at Allison and asked, “What’s wrong?”

She handed her the bag, “Here you go.”

Dolores didn’t respond immediately and asked after a moment, “What is this?”

“You’ll know after you see it.” Said Mrs. William with an elegant smile.

Dolores took the bag, placed it on the table and opened it. Inside was a dress, and it looked very familiar to her because she had designed it herself.

It was her award-winning project, “First.”

But Maria and Matthew had bought it when they were about to get engaged. How come it was here?

She looked at Mrs. William in confusion.

“Someone asked me to give it to you.” She didn’t say who asked her to give it to Dolores.

Dolores wanted to ask her again, but Allison knew Mrs. William didn’t want to talk, so she deliberately interrupted her, “Hurry, put it on! It’s almost time. You won’t be able to go change when people start coming in.”

Dolores hesitated. Allison pushed her toward the changing room, “Hurry! Don’t waste time.”

Dolores didn’t want to put it on, but Allison hurried to help her out of her clothes, “Only by wearing your own work can you really show courage.”

Dolores couldn’t stand Allison manipulating her, “I’ll change by myself. You go.” Allison became concerned and explained, “Hurry! People will be here soon.”

“Okay.” replied Dolores.

The door closed behind Allison and Dolores stared a little blankly as she held up the dress. It was just a dress, but it wore her dream. Ever since she was a teenager, she had a dream of becoming the best costume designer.

Later, she thought she was never going to have a chance, but maybe God wasn’t too cruel to her and helped her to be who she was today.

There was a loud knock at the door.

“Dolores, are you okay in there?” Allison hadn’t left the door. Hearing nothing inside, she knocked on the door, urging her to hurry.

Dolores answered half-heartedly, “Yes, just a moment.”

“Hurry! There are people already here, you’re the star of today.” She was going to be the store manager in the future.

She was the protagonist today.

Naturally, she was going to have to make contacts among the people coming in today.

Dolores looked at the time, giving herself no more time to think, took off her clothes and put on her dress.

She was not made up but her skin was fair and delicate. She pulled her hair up in a bun, leaving a lock of hair that fell over her ear and gave a feminine touch to the updo.

The pink color seemed pure and soft, like a newborn baby unfamiliar with the world, tender and pretty. This was the reason she had chosen this pink color to make the ‘First’ dress.

It represented youth.

She had never thought that she would one day wear this dress. Looking at her reflection in the mirror, she felt dazed.

Allison knocked loudly on the door, “Dolores, come out quickly. There are people here.”

“Okay.” Dolores opened the door and faced Allison. When the latter saw Dolores, she couldn’t help but say, “Dolores, you look very beautiful today.”

Dolores looked at her, “So, was she ugly before today?”

“No, no.” Allison couldn’t take her eyes off Dolores, her light blue eyes looked dazed.

Allison was from Country A originally, but she had learned Chinese when she was in school, so Mrs. William had brought her in to help her.

She could help her facilitate communication here.

Now, there were a total of three designers in the store and although Allison was good, they were still a little understaffed in the store. They had already hired a receptionist and a greeter, and then they were going to hire more people.

Dolores got back to work, “Let’s go!”.

“Okay.” Allison followed Dolores, “I’ve seen the people who just arrived. They’re really good looking.”
