Just as Sampson Herbert was about to remove Dolores Floresâ pants, the phone in his pocket suddenly rang.
Sampson quickly pulled the ringing phone out of his pocket. The screen showed Samuel.
It was Samuel Flores calling.
Sampson stared at the screen, holding the phone tightly. He hesitated for a moment and then answered the call.
He was afraid of raising unnecessary suspicion by not answering the call.
âHi Mom, why arenât you back yet?â It was Samuelâs voice.
He slowed down so his voice sounded calm, âYour mommy went to the bathroom. Sheâll be back soon.â
âOh, itâs Sampson. Please tell her to come back soon. Simona is looking for her. She didnât want to sleep.â
âUnderstood.â Sampson hung up the phone immediately after he finished speaking.
Dolores, who was lying on the couch, fluttered her eyelashes. She thought she heard someone talking, but her eyelids were so heavy she couldnât open them.
Sampson put the phone down on the table and violently withdrew his hand.
He was ready and had made his decision. But after being interrupted by Samuel, he was lost, not knowing where to start.
Sampson had his eyes on Dolores, staring at her seductive body. And soon, his heart fluttered again.
He had liked this woman for many years.
âIâll treat you right.â Sampson clenched his hands, repeating it. Then he reached up to remove Doloresâ pants after calming down.
Sampsonâs hands were cold. When he touched Doloresâ skin, she felt something.
She felt something cold on her.
âMmmâ¦â
She opened her eyes.
Sampson was startled and covered her as he heard a noise.
Dolores woke up.
âWhat are you doingâ¦â
After she spoke, she realized that her clothes were unbuttoned and removed, exposing her bare skin. And the underwear inside her was fully exposed.
Boom!
Dolores was speechless.
She stood up, clutching herself. She was in disbelief, staring at Sampson in shock, âYouâ¦â
âIâ¦â Sampson wanted to explain, but was at a loss for words.
Dolores calmed down for a moment, and was able to sort out what was going on here.
She couldnât believe Sampson would do this to her. But, the proof was in the pudding.
The person she respected and wouldnât want to hurt was treating her â¦. âGet out!â Dolores screamed hysterically.
She was filled with anguish, humiliation, disappointment, that she couldnât breathe.
âListen to meâ¦â Sampson was trying to explain.
Dolores scoffed, âThe proof is clear, what are you still trying to explain?â
âIâ¦â Sampson looked at her disappointed, pursing his lips. He didnât explain himself, but said, âIâve been protecting you for many years. I only want to have your body once.â
âWhat are you talking about?â Dolores was heartbroken.
âYou are no longer a virgin and have even given birth to two children. So why are you still playing innocent?â Sampson leaned over and hugged her, âI will marry you. Iâll treat Samuel and Simona as my children tooâ¦â
âStay away.â Dolores tried to push him away, âLet go of me.â
âItâs too late.â It had come to this point where Dolores would hate him even if he did nothing.
Since that was the case, she would just do it.
âLet go of me. Let go of me.â Dolores pushed and shoved frantically, trying to break his embrace.
There were significant differences between the strength of the man and the woman. Even if Sampson was not robust, his power was still far more incredible than Doloresâ.
Dolores couldnât even push him away.
Sampson pressed her against the couch, kissing her face, hair and neck carelessly.
Dolores turned her head away and saw the bottle of wine on the table. She reached out to grab it and smashed it against Sampsonâs head.
â¦
Bang!
Bright red liquid dripped down her hair and also down Doloresâ body, with a strong red wine smell.
Sampson was incredulous that Dolores would hit him.
He felt a tingle in his head. If it wasnât the red wine masking it, there had to be blood running at that moment.
And even the smell of blood.
As Sampson gave way, Dolores pushed him with great effort. Sampson was caught off guard by the push and fell to the ground.
Dolores thought only of running away, not bothering to look at him. She zipped up her pants, gathering the clothes around her and ran out of the room.
She stumbled along the way and glanced back occasionally to check if Sampson caught up with her.
Sampson endured the pain and ran out of the room, âLolaâ¦â
Dolores ran in fright at the sound of Sampsonâs voice. She ran even faster and didnât notice the way she was going. She collided with a person in the doorway.
She hugged herself, âIâm sorry. Excuse me, please.â
The person did not move out of the way, but reached out and lifted her chin.
When their eyes met, they were surprised.
Dolores asked, âWhy you?â
Matthew Nelson did not answer, but merely stared at her. His clothes were unbuttoned. And his underwear was exposed. There were red stains like blood on the white fabric. Her hair was in disarray, and there were tears on her face, as well as wine stains.
Her pants were still on. And further down, a pair of bare feet.
The high heels she wore were not suitable for running. So Dolores kicked off her shoes when she had a chance to escape.
Matthew stood in surprise, looking at her.
He took off his coat and wrapped her up. Then he picked her up and put her in the car.
Dolores crouched down in her seat.
She was scared to death.
Matthew started the car and sped away.
You could tell he was furious by his expression.
Then Matthewâs phone rang.
He picked up the phone and immediately hung up without looking at it.
The phone rang again as he hung it up as if he wasnât going to stop until he answered it.
He answered the call and heard a male voice, âAre you here yet? Weâre waiting for you.â
âIâm not coming.â
âWe just met, how can you not comeâ¦â
Matthew hung up the call before the man could finish his words and tossed the phone onto the center console.
He rubbed his fingers together and just as he was about to ask Dolores about what happened, his phone rang again.
Matthew had lost his temper and exploded with rage. He picked up the phone, âI said Iâm not coming! Are you deaf? Can you hear me?â
Abbott was startled. What had happened, had he messed with Matthew?
âI was just trying to ask. I bought that car and do I have to send you the keys?â asked Abbott cautiously.
Last time, Matthew had heard from Terry Holmes that Dolores wanted to buy a car.
So he let Abbott check which model Dolores preferred and bought it.
âYou keep it first.â Matthew hung up the call. He turned it off and put it aside to avoid being disturbed by others.
At that moment, they had arrived at Matthewâs house.
It was not the villa, but a hotel near his company. There was a room that Matthew had rented on a long-term basis.
Whenever he was very busy, he always rested here, as it was close to his company.
Coral was at Matthewâs house. If he brought Dolores back, Coral would talk a lot.
Matthew just wanted to be quiet for the moment.
He didnât want anyone to bother him.
He parked the car and took Dolores downstairs.
They entered the hotel and took the elevator.
Dolores buried her face in Matthewâs chest. She was very quiet, as if she had not yet recovered from the shock.
Matthew placed her on the bed as they entered the room.
