This place was not like a bar or a restaurant. It was luxuriously decorated and clean, with one or two people passing by from time to time.
Doloress was puzzled, âWhat kind of place is this?â.
âA bar.â Sampson was tugging her toward the private lounge down the hall.
Doloress frowned, âIâve seldom seen such a quiet bar.â
âThis is a private bar and is not open to the public, only a few people.â
Explained Sampson, âThis is very quiet.â
âOh.â
They reached the private room in a moment, and Sampson pushed the door open. The room was large and a little dull with its warm yellow light. At the far end, there was a black leather sofa. There was a round table at the front, with two bottles of red wine and two glasses on it.
Dolores looked at Sampson, âHave you set this up in advance?â
Sampson stiffened for a moment, but answered matter-of-factly, âI am a VIP guest here and this is my private reserved room. Iâve kept the wine in here as well.â
Dolores entered the room, âI remember you donât like to drink wine.â
Sampson stood in the doorway, looking at Doloresâ slender back, and fell into a trance for a second, âPeople always change, donât they? Iâm a human too, and I have emotions and desires too. I too will be sad to fall in love with the person I canât have.â There was a nuance to their conversation.
Dolores understood the meaning of Sampsonâs words.
She pretended to be unconcerned as she glanced around the room. She reached out to touch the lamp, tap the wine bottle and fiddle with the glass. âThere are thousands of people in the world and itâs fate that makes them meet. And some of them are not meant to be. Thereâs a saying that goes, âIf itâs meant to be, it will be.'â
Ga ln ovels . com fuels your imagination Sampson looked down and smiled, âYouâre always being eloquent, without giving me a single chance. Do you show respect for your elders?â
Dolores turned around, smiling at him, âYouâre not older. To me, youâre always the one in the white coat with glasses, always asking about Jeremyâs condition. And you always take care of me like a big brother. I remember everything.â
Sampson opened the wine and poured, âLetâs not talk about the past.â He was afraid he would go soft and not be able to lay a hand on her.
Without ruining her, however, Maria Herbert and Matthew Nelson would never be together. And their marriage could not give the Herbert Family a promising future.
Sampson poured two glasses of wine, âStop looking around. Come have a drink with me.â
Dolores sat down on the couch and held the wine Sampson poured for her. The wine had a bright red color and a mild aroma. It was a good red wine. Sampson held up his own wine glass and clinked it against hers with a crisp sound, âLetâs paint the town red today.â
âIâm not good at drinking. I canât get drunk with you. Besides, I have to go back soon. Simona canât leave me.â It was always Dolores who put Simona Flores to bed.
Without Dolores for the night, it might upset Jessica Lennon.
Sampson didnât answer, but raised his head and gulped the wine. He held up his empty glass and held it out to Dolores, âIâve finished it. Itâs your turn.â Dolores had no choice but to drink it.
Red wine was different from white wine, which burned. Red wine was smoother and she would not feel uncomfortable with it.
Sampson poured her wine again, âThis is the first time weâve both had wine in such a quiet place.â
âMm.â Dolores lowered her eyes and stared at Sampson, pouring the wine. Her vision became a little blurry. She blinked and said, âYes, but this wine is very strong.â
Sampson looked at her and asked, âIt is?â
âYes.â Dolores felt dizzy.
âWould that be an excuse for not wanting to drink with me?â said Sampson deliberately.
âNo, no.â Dolores rubbed her forehead. That dizzy feeling was not going away but getting worse.
Sampson handed her the glass full of wine, âDonât try to fool me. You said youâd come with me and drink with me.â
Dolores tried to open her eyes to look at Sampson, but her vision was still blurry.
She drank another glass at Sampsonâs insistence.
Sampson continued to pour the wine for her.
âI canât take it anymore. Iâm getting really drunk. I have to get back now. Samuel and Simona are still waiting for me at home.â Dolores stood up as he spoke. She stumbled a few steps before she completely lost consciousness and fell to the floor.
Sampson remained seated on the couch through the whole situation. He seemed to know that Dolores could not leave the room.
He finished his wine and set the glass down. Then he got up, carried Dolores, who had collapsed on the floor, and put her on the couch.
She was thin and very light. Sampson needed hardly any effort to lift her.
He placed Dolores on the floor and sat beside her, stroking her hair, âDonât blame me. Youâre the one making me do this.â It was all planned before he came.
He just lacked the confidence to do it. He was forced to come by Maria Herbert.
But after hearing Doloresâ words, he no longer had any doubts.
He gently caressed her face, âYou donât care about me anymore, why should I care about you too?â
Dolores had lost consciousness and could not hear any of his words.
Sampson unbuttoned her clothes one by one, exposing her clear, smooth skin. He caressed her cheek, her neck⦠she swallowed saliva.
âI know youâll hate me when you wake up. I have no choice. The mineral water I gave you had a chemical added to it. Thereâs no turning back now for you. Thereâs no turning back for me either.â
The mineral water had a medicine added to it that increased stomach movements. And red wine also had a high alcohol content. If consumed together, they could easily cause a coma.
Even if someone found out, they would only conclude that she was drunk.
Doloresâ blouse was untied. The black bra enveloped her full, round breasts. Her bust moved up and down as she breathed. It was tempting.
Her belly was flat with a few stretch marks below her navel, left behind when she conceived Samuel and Simona.
The two children were born small. So the stretch marks on her were not noticeable, not like the tiger stripes that were hideous. Hers were paler, not ugly to look at, and kind of sexy, too.
Sampsonâs big hand caressed Doloresâ belly, âMary said women are perceptive. Theyâll feel something for the first man who sleeps with them. If you knew that person was Matthew Nelson, would she fall in love with him?â
âNo, you moved out, didnât you?â Sampson lowered her head and laughed deeply, âWhen Matthew saw you, he called off his engagement to Maria. However, you had resisted coming back. But after you met Matthew, you came back â was it because of him?â
Matthew leaned over and kissed Doloresâ lips, âThatâs the first time Iâve kissed you and you havenât turned me down.â
Whenever Sampson kissed Dolores, she always rejected him at that crucial moment.
He knew Dolores was rejecting him for getting close.
Not liking him, even if she acquiesced, her body also resisted.
Sampson whispered in her ear, âMaybe Mary was right. Even if you didnât know which one Matthew was, but since you made out, you would have feelings for him, even if unconsciously.â
âBut what if I do it with you too, would you also have feelings for me? Lolaâ¦â
As Sampson said, he unbuttoned his pants.
And pulled down the zipper .
