Standing at the top of the stairs Blake felt a bit foolish as he just stood there waiting to be told to come down. Bending one foot to the side he wasn't able to rock his foot too much or he was sure he would risk falling down. The one last supposedly fun thing had been shopping for an outfit that would be just perfect, ever so perfect for his date with David. His normally wonderful girlfriend had practically set him up and while trying to pick out the perfect outfit, he really wasn't sure what that even meant, but he had tried to come up with an excuse to get out of it. "You know, Miss Liz was off today, but I think she forgot the two of us were supposed to go out tonight, just the two of us."

"Hmmm, she didn't mention anything about that, but she did seem a bit fluster this morning. I'm sure David would be happy to take you out tomorrow night, unless is is you Miss Downings that has butterflies in her stomach."

"I..." Blake said, putting his hand over his own stomach, he was indeed nervous about going on a date, but not for the reasons he imagined she would think. "Only thing in my stomach is food and witchcraft." That had been the moment the older woman pulled a move that was right out of his own mothers playbook. She pulled out her cell phone and called Liz to call his bluff.

"Hey Heather, Blake and I are trying to find something just right for her date tonight. Didn't know if you were back at my place or not yet, but she thought the two of you might have plans tonight."

"Not back yet, we... had a few drinks and are over at a Denny's getting sober. I think... Blake and I were talking about going to get her hair done tomorrow. Is that what you were thinking about Blake honey?"

Cursing to himself Blake wasn't sure why he thought Liz would back up his story, it wasn't something they had talked about today. In fact the two hadn't talked at all today, he should have texted her like he had his mother, the woman was making him send update to where he was, but she hadn't bothered to text him back once. "Yeah." Blake laughed nervously. "That must be what I was thinking about."

His attempt at escape had failed earlier and now that he waited to be called down for some slow walk down the stairs like some rom com where a girl walks down the stairs to her prom date, he didn't expect anything to change. Though looked down at what he was wearing he wished he could change. Blake still wore the same bra and panties from earlier, but he had on a pair of white panthose that sent a jolt of electricity up his body when he rolled them up his legs. A black skirt that came down to his knees, a first for his feminine wardrobe. A white blouse with a little built in neck tie thing that he thought looked like something a secretary should be wearing. On top of his head was a band that had a little black bow that hung just to the side of the crown of his head and then there was the shoes, because what shopping trip isn't complete without buying a new pair of heels for the twenty one year old boy that is pretending to be a sixteen year old girl. This pair of black rounded toe oxford lace up block four inch heels. Going over the mental checklist of all the things he was wearing he idling reached up and touched his left earlobe still not used to the extra weight even if it was minimal. If being in a dress or dress-like outfit wasn't bad enough and doing so to go on a date with a boy who thinks you gave an over the close handy to, he had to do it all in a pair of heels that he just might kill himself in as he tried to go down the stairs.

Looking down at his shoes, past his fake breasts he wobbled his feet from one side to the next. The block heel made them not so bad and he could admit they were cute, not for him, but wow he would love to see Liz in them. Maybe pairing the shoes with a schoolgirl outfit. Blake smiled at the idea. Turning his head he caught a glimpse of his face in a small mirror that hung on the wall on the stairs for decoration, catching his makeup covered face. There wasn't a lot on, but it had an effect, and considering it was Heather, David's mother he wasn't sure about how he should take it that she was dolling him up. She had used a minimal amount of concealer, an eyelid pencil, mascara and a neutral lipstick that was kissed priss. That comment made Blake blush, hating the idea that even she seemed to know they had kissed somehow.

"Blake hon, come on down stairs!" Heather called up from the bottom of the stairs, clearly able to see the girl doing one last in the mirror to primp one last time.

First David saw a tall heeled shoe and a white ankle on the stairs from his spot in the living room. Then he could see her white pantyhose covered legs, each step down the smile on his face a few degrees larger. By the time she got to the bottom the teen found himself wanting to rush over to his gorgeous date and take her into his arms. Restraining himself he walked up to her slowly, the large grin on his face not fading in the slightest. He could hear his heart beating in his ears, he was so nervous, but he hoped it didn't show. 'Be confident, girls like confident guys. Just follow Dad's advice from when I texted him a picture of Blake and how we were going on our second date. If I'm not confident, pretend I am, fake it till I make it.'

"Blake you are beautiful, I'm the luckiest guy to just see your smile, let alone get to take you on a date."

Opening his mouth Blake about to tell him thank you, so they could move on, but he found himself speechless at the smoothness of the line. It was better than anything he had said to Liz and it made him believe this kid would be dangerous when he got older, that and it made a large blush come to his cheeks at the pure earnestness, David didn't just say he was beautiful, he believed it. With the blush bright red on his cheeks Blake found himself looking away, unable to meet David's eyes even though in his current footwear the boy was only an inch taller. 'Six inch heels and I can be taller.' He didn't like that errant thought, heels like that he didn't really think were for walking and he did not want to go down the mental rabbit hole of himself wearing such a pair of heels or why. "Thanks, you... you look nice too."

Tugging on his red checkered button down shirt that he had the sleeves partially rolled up and the entire thing tucked into his best jeans, David didn't think he could compare to his date. Heck he was wearing sneakers, they were his best pair, him spending time to clean them, but he was just some guy next to a girl that was so pretty she had to be constantly turning guys away. 'Lord thank you!' The teen said a quick prayer of thanks for his good fortune, no thought spared for the fact another girl had caused him to be in town to begin with. The sting of her breaking up with him had been washed away by thoughts of Blake's pretty eyes. Her soft doe eyes mostly down, looking up to him ever so slightly and a small smile on her coy lips fill him with so much joy. "I don't deserve that, but I'm happy you think so. Honestly, the only thing I think I have that compares to you is the joy I feel right now." David said, reaching out to take her hand, his fingers between her own.

Silent or the most should could be when taking photos with her phone, Heather touched her palm to her mouth, very much wishing he had been recording, not snapping photos. 'Where did this confident young man come from? And what did he do with my little boy?'

Everything David had deflated when he realized his mother was taking photos. "Moooom!" Turning to look at Blake some of his smile had deflated. "I'm sorry about her. Let's get going."

Pulling her phone away from her face Heather grabbed a set of keys from the key rack near the door and handed them over to her son. "What are the rules when you are borrowing your fathers car?"

"No speeding, drive carefully, wear our seatbelts, know where the registration and insurance is in case we are pulled over." David said, his eyes looking up and to the side as he recited the list from memory.

"And?" Heather asked, putting her hand on her hip and raising an eyebrow to her son like he had missed something.

Repeating it over in his head David gave his mother a questioning look.

"The two you missed were, be safe and have fun. Now the two of you shoo, I want the house to myself for a while instead of noisy teens being about. Heather waved her hand in a shooing motion, wishing she could go along.

The drive wasn't anything special, it wasn't nerve racking for Blake, he had a drivers license, not on him, in fact now that he thought about it he didn't actually have one anymore thanks to Liz. Still though he didn't have a car and his parents weren't big on him driving their cars, so he was more than used to taking the bus or ubers everywhere. The only thing really different about this was the person driving wanted to smooch him, at the very least. The only thing of real note was when he got a text from Liz.

Liz: Hey! I didn't make it back in time, but I sooo wanted to see the cute couple together.

Liz: Send me a pic of the two of you

Liz: Send me one of the two of you kissing!

Blake: Are you still drunk?

Liz: We may have walked over to a bar and a got a few free drinks.

Blake: You didn't drive back to the house drunk did you?

Liz: Noooo I told you we walked to the bar.

Blake: Still there?

Liz: No, Monica is driving me back home.

Liz: She will then uber off home herself and then I do that too

Liz: I want that photo!

Blake: No Liz, not happening

Liz: I know you enjoyed kissing your boyfriend, I just wanna see!

Blake: No

Liz: What if I give a reward to my little king for being a good girl?

Blake: You know I don't like being called either of those things

Liz: You don't want it? Okay I just figured...

Blake: How about a photo of us hugging?

Liz: Maybe... send one and we will see

"Everything okay?" David asked seeing his date texting up a storm.

"Yeah. It is just L... Miss Liz. She is still out and wanted some photos of us. I told her I would send one of us together. So we will have to pose for one more photo, hope that is okay."

David considered telling her to just let Liz know that his mom has a dozen photos at least, but getting a selfie with Blake sounded like a good thing to encourage. "Sounds fine to me, always happy to be next to you."

When they parked Blake got another text, this one from his mother. It was a simple one, but he remembered the rules, he had to send her a selfie to prove he was playing his part. 'That just means two selfies, no problem.' He thought.

Mom: Just checking in hon, how is my girl doing?

Ignoring the text for now Blake found himself once more holding hands with the younger man, but he had a mission, a mission that was going to get him laid by his girlfriend. So this time he pulled the boy along to a brighter spot under a street lamp. Taking a stance Blake held one hand up with his camera in hand and the other one out to invite David to come closer. "Photo time!" Blake said cheerfully thinking about the oh so special reward he would get once this little date was over.

Seeing Blake hold herself out open for him he stepped closer ready to pose for a selfie, but the closer he got the more he smelled her perfume. The aroma had been clinging to her since she came down the stairs, and had drifted about in the air making him want to pull over to the side of the road and kiss the girl like they had in the theater and now seeing her ready to embrace him and a smile on his face he put one hand on her cheek, gently holding her face, the other around her body as the arm she had held out fell down to her side as he caught her by surprise when he kissed her.

Stepping back David saw a blush on Blake's face and a common occurrence that he loved to see. "Need another for a photo? I don't mind."

"No.. umm..." Blake touched his hand to his cheek feeling the warmth coming off of it. The kiss had been different than in the theater, there wasn't a storm of passion and umm... bodily energy. It hadn't been forceful, it was surprising to be sure, but it had been a gentle kiss. The kind of kiss he gave Lizbeth when he wanted her to know he loved her. Swallowing hard, Blake patted his hand against the boy's chest. "No, that one will be good. Just one more of just myself here at the fair." Moving closer to the fair's sign Blake took a second selfie to catch the sign and himself in it. He really didn't want to show his mom the outfit he was currently wearing, but considering her threat the photo would be a much better option.

Typing away on his phone he sent the kiss image to Liz, hoping it would earn him extra points from his drunk girlfriend considering this was what she wanted to begin with. Then he sent another text with a selfie of just himself. Soon as Blake hit send to his mother he realized what he had just done. He had sent the text meant for his mom to Liz and the one meant for Liz to his mom.

As quickly as Blake could he undid the most recent sent text to his mom, sending a new one with the image of just himself as quickly as he could. He could see the few little dots in the corner showing she was texting back and he was terrified he had just shown his mom a photo of him kissing a boy, but when nothing came threw after a full minute he thought he might have some hope that she just had a letter or something already typed from her last message and she hadn't actually seen the first.

"Everything okay?" David asked, seeing a worried look on the young woman's face.

"Yep." he lied. "Nothing I can change."

"I bet I can change something about you." David said with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah? What is that?" he asked, playing along.

"I can make you smile and the world a better place at the same time." David said with a single confident nod of his head.

Giving the boy a questioning look Blake rolled his hand in a go on type motion that his own mother often used.

"You see." David said confidently before leaning in close and whispering. "When you smile the world gets a little brighter, people around you get happier and you make the world a better place. The best part is... the world is already better because you're in it." David then gave a big toothy goofy smile as he saw his date once more blush, and a smile coming to her face. "Look at that, the world got a little better and I won the bet. I think the winner gets to choose one thing at the fair the other can't veto. Sound fair?"

Touching his own cheek Blake could feel the heat radiating from his face. No one talked to him like this, he wasn't equipped to handle people talking to him like this. "Yeah... sure. Let's just get inside, okay?" Blake said not wanting to avoid another kiss or somehow how worse the boy being successful in his flirting.
