While the 'kids" were at their movie Heather pointed off to the nearby mall just across the plaza. "How about we spend some time over there while we wait for their movie to be over. I have the perfect idea of how to kill time."

Without questioning it Lizbeth drove the woman's van in the direction of the mall. "Sure, I'm always up for a little window shopping."

Giving the girl who had been a friend of the family for years not a mischievous look, the older woman's eyes flicked from the mall and then back to her. "Actually I was thinking. You said Blake doesn't really have anything to wear after her parents left on their trip and then she went and locked herself out of her house with her suitcase still inside. I feel bad for her and I thought she might enjoy a the surprise of a few new outfits."

Parking the vehicles Lizbeth nodded. "That is what happened, hard to believe," she had come up with the story to help explain Blake's lack of clothing. She really didn't want her boyfriend wearing her panties, him in panties was hot, but she didn't want to share an underwear drawer with him either. Over lunch she had come up with a plan to get her boyfriend out of the situation he put himself in. She would call his parents and ask if she could come over to take some of his clothes so she could mail them off to him after a mishap on the road. His parents loved her and she didn't think there would be a problem. Then she would call a few of her friends to see if they would let him crash on their couch, maybe spend a little time at one of their places and time at the other. That part of the plan she was still working out so that he didn't get in trouble with his own parents for lying to them about going on a trip. "You really don't need to do that Heather, Blake gets a bit absentminded at times and it is her own fault. She has to learn there are consequences for not thinking things through."

"Come on don't be the mean Miss Haley, be the nice Miss Liz my boys loved having around to watch them. Don't think I never noticed our ice cream containers were always a bit lighter after you watched them. Besides, what girl wants to keep wearing the same thing over and over when she will be living in the same house as the boy she is dating."

"Ice cream is a marvelous motivator for good behavior, I'm sure it is science and if there hasn't been a study on it yet then scientists are missing out on a grant to eat ice cream," Lizbeth said with a smile as she unbuckled her seatbelt. "I don't know Heather, Blake can be a bit picky about what she wears."

"Ice cream aside, you need to let me do this," The pair continued talking as they got out of the vehicle.

"I do?"

"I have two boys, both teenagers and I'm far too old to have another baby and I always imagined going shopping for a little girl. One of my little sisters is divorced and another only dates other girls. So no chance of a niece to spoil there and my younger brother... I think the longest relationship Reagan ever had was a few weeks," she rolled her eyes at the idea of her brother getting into a real relationship and even if he did knock someone up she didn't know how well things would go with his attitude toward the LGBTQ community, one that their own sister was a part of. "I can't imagine another chance like this coming around till I'm a grandmother and Liz, I'm not that patient of a person."

With a sigh Lizbeth nodded in agreement. She wasn't really against the idea of buying pretty dresses and things for Blake to wear, the idea was actually really appealing to her. She just knew he wouldn't like it. 'I will just have to be extra convincing to my little king so that he will continue to pretend to be my princess and play a game of dress up.' Turning to the older blonde woman, Lizbeth stepped in front of her, trying to walk backwards before almost losing her balance in her heels. "Okay, but only a few things."

A few things had quickly turned into having to take multiple trips back to the van to drop off bags. If they were going to shop Lizbeth figured it was only right that she contributed and wanted to get her fake charge some toiletries, things Blake hadn't even considered bringing with him with his complete and utter lack of planning. That had started with a sparkling purple toothbrush, some feminine deodorant and it quickly got out of hand, her picking up things that she had. Small bottle of anti-aging face moisturizer, a facial scrub, body lotion, body wash, a double bladed venus razor and even that spiraled into getting Blake his own makeup kit. It wasn't just Liz getting carried away, Heather picking up different things and making suggestions each step of the way hadn't helped the twenty one year old woman stop, unable to say "No, Blake doesn't wear makeup," When she already had Blake wearing some.

Then it came to clothes, Blake was going to get a few more bras, a sale on panties won Blake a bag of them that would last him much longer than he would need. They had picked out a few blouses they thought would look cute on the sixteen year old girl and some skirts to match. Not even on to shoes yet Lizbeth found herself fully into the idea of buying Blake outfits that she thought would just look cute on him. Holding up a red dress with small white polka dots Lizbeth presented it to Heather with a large smile on her face, seeing the woman doing the same with one of her own. The dress Lizbeth had in her hands would fully cover Blake's chest, but would leave the upper part of his back bare, and a little fabric tie would go around the waist. While the white with black polka dot halter swing dress Heather had just screamed girly girl.

"She is going to look so cute in these!" heather exclaimed.

Looking at the dress in Lizbeth's hands, Heather was just beside herself with how much fun she was having. She had once tried to convince her older son to dress up as a girl for a halloween party when he was fifteen. He had been complaining about everything at the store being for kids. She wasn't sure where the wild idea had come from, other than her own desire to have a girl of her own. The idea fell flat and even some light bribing had been rejected. Her sister Victoria making her piece of shit ex-husband wear dresses in her little scheme for payback was a fun idea, but that was Vicki's fun and she could never imagine actually forcing someone to dress up just so she could have a little fun and pretend to have a daughter. "I think I have spent enough that my husband is going to ask some questions."

Biting her inner cheek Lizbeth agreed, she had spent way more than zero dollars she intended to actually spend on Blake. The Mauro's had a nice home, but she also knew they weren't actually wealthy and felt a bit bad, knowing her own excitement had only urged Heather on. "Maybe we should put a few things back and call it a day?" she offered.

"Or," heather said, taking the red dress from Lizbeth's hands. "And just hear me out on this," She then folded the red dress over her arm to join the swing dress. "I go pay for these and then we hit the shoe store and I can just tell my loving husband who gets to still be on vacation, while I had to escort our misbehaving son back home... that this wouldn't have happened if he came home instead of me."

"I'm sorry, I didn't realize he made you come back home," Lizbeth said with sympathy in her voice, knowing that being a parent could be tough. She had known David since he was thirteen and had learned over the years that he tended to keep bad news to himself and despite it blowing up in his face he still hadn't learned the lesson.

Waving her free hand in the air as if to bat away the twenty something girl's words Heather gave her a few shakes of her head. He didn't and doesn't make me do anything, I thought we all were going to have to come home, but he offered to take David home," heather looked away from the girl, letting out a small sigh. "He works so hard and his job can be much more stressful than my own," she then shook her head. "No, it was my idea to come home so that he could relax and recharge. He is a good man, but that doesn't mean I can't be jealous."

With a smile on her face Lizbeth hoped that one day when she got married she could say similar things about her own husband and that made her think of Blake. 'Would he offer that for me?' The thought was followed by thinking how he is dressing up as a girl four years his junior, but that was counter weighted by how much blame she laid at his own feet and that started her down a mental rabbit hole of how much she was to blame.

Seeing the young woman lost in thought Heather clapped her hands together once to bring her back down to earth. "Time to do a little shoe shopping!"

When it was almost time for the movie to be over Heather and Lizbeth made their way back to the van one last time so they could pick up the couple after their date. The shopping trip had gone from something Lizbeth begrudgingly went along with to something that she fully embraced and now she found herself looking forward to hearing from Blake about his first date as a girl. She could picture the pair coming out of the movie theater, Blake wearing the boy's jacket over his shoulders, a jacket she knew David hadn't been wearing or carrying with him, but the idea of Blake wearing said jacket like a girl cold from the theater still tickled her mind. David would have his hand around his date's waist, holding her feminized boyfriend close, while Blake rested his head on David's chest like a love sick girl.

That of course wasn't close to the truth, when Lizbeth saw Blake the pair weren't even holding hands, making her feel a bit of disappointment, but she could see clearly how happy David was so she at least had that.

"How was the movie, kids?" Heather asked as the two got inside the back of the van.

"Mom, we had a great time, I mean really the best!" David said excitedly despite missing much of the movie.

Partially turned around in her seat Lizbeth looked to her boyfriend. "What about you Blake did you enjoy the movie?"

The movie experience had been different, way different than any other time Blake had been to the movies and despite what the teen boy next to him was saying, it had not been in fact great. The only real part of the movie he could remember was the beginning and while they hadn't been swapping saliva the entire movie, he had been so lost in thought that he didn't even realize when the ending credits had started to roll. "Umm, I think I will have to go see it again," he said with a weak smile, at first Blake didn't notice how David looked at him with stars in his eyes at the idea of the two repeating what had just happened, but feeling like someone was looking at him, Blake turned his head to give the boy a weak smile. He found himself feeling like a prey animal that was about to be pounced upon and he couldn't look away unless he wanted to invite the attack to happen. 'He wouldn't try to kiss me again? Not here in front of his mom would he?!' Blake asked himself.

Moving her vehicle into gear Heather glanced in her rearview mirror at her son and the girl sitting next to him, both looking at each other like they were smitten. "Well I'm glad the two of you had fun. Liz and I had a bit of fun shopping ourselves."

"It was fun mom, Blake and I can't wait to see it again. I heard it has already made enough money that there is going to be a sequel. The director said people will be blown away by the sequel Super Contra!"
