Parker placed a hand over her head and held her as they walked into a cave. âItâs raining. Letâs hide in there.â
Bai Qingqingâs heart ached as she looked into the dark cave. She nodded and replied, âOkay.â
The cave hadnât changed much. The stone walls were still black.
âMeow meowââThe cubs in the animal skin cried out.
Bai Qingqing composed herself before unwrapping the animal skin and taking a look. âThey pooped.â âRascals. Why are you so dirty?â Parker chided them softly as he placed them on the ground one by one.
The young leopards felt shy towards Parker as he was still like a stranger to them. They timidly glanced at his legs for a moment before turning and walking towards Bai Qingqing. âBe gentle. Youâve scared them,â She said, chiding him. She crouched down and gently stroked the cubsâ heads. âMales have a lot of strength. Iâm already being very gentle,â Parker said aggrievedly. He dusted off the dirty animal skin and flipped it so that the soiled side was facing the ground. He then helped Bai Qingqing to sit down.
âDonât spoil them. Theyâre just male cubs. Itâs not like theyâre female cubs. They wonât die after falling a few times.â Bai Qingqing glared at him. Why couldnât he be as careful as Muir?
Her expression became cold at the thought of the black eagle. She had mixed emotions.
She had said those words earlier out of spite. Now that she had calmed down, she felt that she had crossed the line.
No matter what, Muir had saved her before, and he had helped her a lot. It wasnât like her to want to kill him.
Bai Qingqing decided that she wouldnât do anything to Muir as long as Curtis was safe and well. However, she wouldnât stop Curtis from taking revenge.
âParker.â
âMm?â Parker glanced at Bai Qingqing. He purposefully handled the cubs more gently so that she could see.
âLetâs not care about Muir. Weâll leave him to Curtis once we find him.â
âYouâre too soft-hearted. But Iâve already gotten my revenge, so it doesnât matter to me.â Parker glared at her exasperatedly before continuing, âI wish I could just lock you up at home so that you donât see any other males. Otherwise, who knows when your heart will soften and you accept another male?ân/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Bai Qingqing said half-jokingly, âOkay.â âAh?â Parker replied in disbelief.
Bai Qingqing was too ashamed to tell him that she was really about to accept Muir.
The young leopards cried out again. Bai Qingqing already had a dayâs experience of being a mom, and she immediately understood that the babies were hungry.
âUm, Parker. Thereâs something I need you to help me with.â
âWhat is it?âBai Qingqingâs pale face flushed as she hugged the children and stuttered, âUm⦠My milk wonât come out.â
Parker panicked for a moment. His eyes landed on her body as he asked curiously, âCanât come out? Why? Then, what did the children feed on?â
He glanced at the young cubs. They seemed to have quite a bit of strength and didnât appear to be starved.
Bai Qingqing ignored the first two questions and only answered the last one. âMuir caught a wild leopard for the children. Theyâve drunk the leopardâs milk twice.â
âNo wonder there was a wild leopard in the peacock village,â Parker replied in understanding. He then squeezed her breasts.
Although he had large hands, he could only barely cover Bai Qingqingâs breast with one hand in the past. Now, he couldnât do that at all. His hand could only cover half of her breast. The feeling was different, too, as her breasts now had milk ducts in them.
âAh.â Bai Qingqing turned away and dodged Parkerâs hand. Embarrassed and angry, her face flushed even more.
âYou squeezed it so hard that it hurts. My breasts are tender enough already. Whyâd you use so much strength?â Bai Qingqing pouted.
