Mu Ya was very worried about Shen Yinâs mental state and didnât dare to push her too much. He said, âThen, weâll go to my house first.â
Shen Yin hesitated for a moment before nodding in agreement.
Mu Ya carried her on his back once again as he walked back home. He thought of something, then broke into a troubled yet excited expression.
âMy mom is very nice, sheâll definitely like you.â But their relationship had developed too fast. Would his mom misunderstand?
Mu Ya was actually very scared, but when he felt the weight on his back, his strides were firm.
Shen Yin lowered her eyes, not saying anything.
They soon arrived home. When Mu Ya was about to enter, Shen Yi wriggled and slid down from his back.
âAlright. Take my hand, Iâll bring you in.â Mu Ya only treated it as if Shen Yin was shy, pulling her hand and saying.
Shen Yin pointed a finger toward the window of his room.
âYou still want to climb in through the window?â Mu Ya frowned, looking like he disapproved.
Shen Yin nodded.
She wouldnât budge, so Mu Ya could only carry her and climb in through the window once again.
The first time around, he had to hide and pretend to be an ordinary person. So he had to climb the tree and enter the window from there. But this time around, he jumped the wall directly and then entered through the window.
After entering the room, the two of them looked at each other without saying anything.
Were they going to meet his parents from the room? This seemed even worse!
Mu Yaâs head ached.
âYou should go to school,â Shen Yin suddenly said. He started to panic inside when she saw Mu Ya frowning.
âThen what about you?â Mu Ya asked.
âIâll go with you,â Shen Yin replied.
Mu Ya was elated. âYouâre willing to go to school?â
However, Shen Yin immediately shook her head.
Under his perplexed gaze, she said in a soft voice, âIâll wait for you outside.â
Mommy rubbed his temple and said, âWait for me for a while. Iâll go talk to my mom. She definitely knows about me taking leave from school.â
Shen Yin nodded docilely.
Mu Yaâs heart softened and he rubbed her head softly. He then jumped out through the window and entered through the front door.
He didnât expect to bump into a pair of bright red snake eyes upon entering.
âIs it fun to get in through the window when thereâs a door here?â
Curtis raised his head from the book he was reading, asking in a cold voice.
Mu Ya instantly stopped in his footsteps, his heart tightening.
âCurtis.â
Curtis flicked out his tongue, then his pupils suddenly contracted, turning into a pair of vertical slits. âYouâve become mates with her?â
Sensing his killing intent, Mu Ya instantly went into full guard. âWhat are you thinking of doing?â
âThis should be my question. What are you thinking of doing?â Curtis stood up and threw a glance at the tightly closed door to Muirâs room on the second floor.
âIf I were to discover that she has leaked anything to any person, Iâll kill her!â Curtis said in an emotionless voice.
Mu Ya was enraged but didnât dare to flare up. He clenched his fists tightly, and all the muscles on his body bulged up.
âWhat right do you have to interfere in her life and death? This is a law-regulated society!â
Curtis smiled coldly. âIn our world, the strong is the law! She has threatened our safety.â
Mu Yaâs eyes darted around. Curtis could tell his intention and then said, âDonât hope that your father will help you. Iâm very certain that he has the same stand as me.â
Mu Ya was first in disbelief, then gradually calmed down. He realized that what Curtis said was the truth.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Their familyâs bloodline was too different. When one was affected, everyone would be implicated. His father wouldnât take such a huge risk for one of his sons.
His mom might be the only one who would help him unconditionally.
