***Ria's Point of View***

I opened my crusty eyes agaisnt bright florescent light.

My head throbbed as I tried to sit up so I flopped back down to the pillow.

An ache in my back was killing me. I wanted to move to my side, but an IV and other wires threatened to tangle if I moved.

"Ria! Thank God you're awake," I heard daddy say as his handsome face appeared in my view.

"Daddy?" I confused with a scratchy throat.

"Baby girl oh my god I'm so happy to see those beautiful eyes. I'm so sorry if I did anything to push you here. This has been the longest 3 days of my life," he said with tears in his eyes.

He slowly moved tubes out of the way as I tried to process the fact of me being out of it for 3 days.

"Daddy what happened?" I asked as he snuggled me making me feel better.

"What do you remember?" He asked stroking my face softly.

"We were at the mall..." I said then my head throbbed and I couldn't remember.

"We went to leave and you saw some puppies. You wanted one so badly. We couldn't have one, and I told you no. You went into a huge fit. I couldn't console you. Ms. Conran wanted me to take you to the nurse because she thought you were in a panic attack. I agree with her. I tried to pick you up...you screamed no at me and ran. You ran and tripped...and I'm so sorry baby girl I couldn't stop you from falling," daddy took a pause to get himself back together before starting again. "You fell and hit your head and there was blood. I rushed you to the nurse. They had to get you in an ambulance and to the hospital. They put you in a coma to help your head heal. It was a nasty fall baby. They said you would be okay, but I've been so scared."

Daddy paused again and I saw tears threatening his rim, breaking his normal calm collected nature.

"Baby girl I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to push you here. If I did anything to get you here I'm so sorry. I wished I could get you a puppy, but we can't here at school,"

Daddy was making me cry. I couldn't even remember what happened.

"Daddy please don't..it's...I don't remember it..don't be sad," I said trying to comfort him.

Daddy composed himself like he flipped a switch.

"You sound thirsty do you want some water? Here baby," he said handing me a cup with a straw.

I drank the cool water and then a nurse walked in. She smiled politely and started taking vitals.

"Can she have food?" Daddy asked. He moved into doing something mode. Doing anything to make sure I was okay.

"Here baby I brought your blanket and George from home," he said putting them on me.

"Daddy," I said touching his hand as he covered me up, "I'm okay thank you. I love you."

"I love you so much baby girl," he said kissing my lips softly.

"God I missed your kisses," he said rubbing my hand lightly.

"When can I go home daddy?" I asked.

"I think they want to monitor you for a few more days. It was a nasty fall baby,"

Food came and we ate gross hospital sandwiches and mindlessly watched something on tv for a bit.

"Daddy can I get up and have a shower?" I asked realizing how nasty and sweaty I felt.

Daddy got a nurse to come in and unhook my wires and IV. She said daddy could be the one to help me shower which I was grateful for.

Daddy helped me up. My body ached from laying down so long.

I glanced past a mirror and was shocked at the face looking at me.

My head had a huge gash in it and was bruised down to my cheekbone.

I stopped moving and just looked at myself.

"Hey baby girl...its okay," daddy said kissing my neck and pulling me along to the shower.

"You're always the most beautiful girl in the world to me"
