****Ria's Point of View****
"Guys we need to get the hot chocolate!" I said whispering to my little friends.
"Yeah it's not fair they get it and we don't!" Avery said agreeing.
"We could get cold too!" Eloise pipped up.
"Idk guys I don't wanna get in trouble," Ashton said.
"I agree. My daddy said it's for grownups and has bad stuff for littles in it," Gwyn said.
"But look at them! They're having fun with it why can't we!" I said looking over at our daddies and mommy.
"Come on guys lets go sledding!" My daddy actually said.
"See it makes everything better! My daddy wants to have fun in the snow. We have to drink it too!" I said.
Just then I was swooped up and spun around.
"You're right baby girl. The snow is pretty. Now come on lets get on a sled and race the others!" Daddy said packing me over to our sled.
We rented one from the school. I picked it out. It was blue and sparkly.
"On your marks. Get set. Go!!" Leah shouted.
Leah didn't want to sled and race so she counted us down. Ashton Avery and Gwyn rode on one sled, daddy and I on another, and uncle Dean and uncle Cole raced on their own.
Daddy pushed us off the hill and down we went! I giggled and laughed at how fast we were going.
"Yayyyy!! We won!" Dean and Cole said.
"Again again!!" All of us littles said rushing back up the hill.
"Mommy you go this time! With me?" Eloise asked.
"Yeah you go and I will count down!" Avery said.
"Okay just one time though. I do not want to climb up this hill a million times," Leah said hoping behind Eloise on a sled.
We all waited for the count down.
I lost track of time. We just kept going up and down the hill and sledding down. I lost track of who one and didn't win.
"Okay guys. I gotta sit for a bit. You kids go do something by yourself for a bit while us adults sit and chat," Dean said after our last race.
"Yeah come on guys! Let's try to make a fort!" Avery said.
We all helped build up wall sides. It took awhile but eventually we had walls that we could sit behind. Our heads could be seen but not much else.
"Lets try to make an igloo!" Gwyn said
"Nooo. This is perfect!" Avery said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because I snagged this!" Avery said pulling out a thermos.
"Ooooh! Give me!" I said. I was freezing!
"Guys no we can't!" Gwyn pleaded.
"It'll be fine! They won't know we promise!" Eloise told her.
Avery took a big drink.
"Ooh man that burns! But I feel so good and warm! Here Ria!" She said passing it to me.
I carefully took a sip after Avery did hers. It burned but tasted like peppermint hot chocolate so I took more.
"Mmm its good! Here Eloise!" I said passing it to her.
Eloise took one too and started sputtering. That made us all giggle.
"Come on its fine!" Avery said getting Ashton to take a drink.
"Mmmm goood!" He said with a surprised tone.
"Okay okay hand it here. Im cold." Gwyn finally said.
"Yay!" We all said.
We passed it back and forth for a bit and then decided we wanted a snow ball fight.
"Whoa my head feels funny," I said standing up.
"Come on get me!" Eloise said throwing a snowball at me.
"Hey!" I said getting one ready to lobe back at her.
We threw snowballs back and forth for forever.
"Guys lets get our mommies and daddies!" Ashton said.
Okay so we had more hot chocolate to stay warm too. Ashton was being super funny now. It was hilarious.
Ashton snuck up behind Cole and threw a snowball right into the back of his head!
We all died of laughter.
"Oh now you're all gonna get it!" Dean said jumping up and throwing snow balls at everyone.
I threw one at daddy and his face got a dark playful look on it.
"Oh no!" I screamed shrieking off so he wouldn't get me back.
"Oh you get back here little girl!" He said grabbing snow and making a huge snow ball!
"Nooooo!" I screamed running away.
Daddy was tooo fast for me though. I kept stumbling and tripping and he finally caught me.
He threw it down my hood onto my back!!!!
"Daddddyyyy!!!" I yelled out from the cold.
"Say I win!" He said holding me down so I couldn't shake it out.
"You win you win you win!!" I said giggling.
He finally let me go and I ran off again.
This time back to the fort with the hot chocolate. I needed it!!!
Others came up and we passed it around again.
"What the hell do you littles think you are doing?" Dean's voice said behind us.
