Chapter Sixteen

Scott, Stiles, Theo and Deaton all ran into the station the first thing they noticed was the smear of blood and then Deputy Clarke helping Stilinski up. Scott rushed over to help while Stiles followed the blood to find Avalon, Kira and Lydia.
Avalon glanced up to see Stiles staring at them wide eyes when Theo noticed and ran over, taking his belt off in the process. He got down next to Avalon and got his belt around Lydia's waist and Avalon moved her hands before he pulled it tight around Avalon's jacket to help the blood flow stop more than before.
"Stiles. Stiles. Stiles, come on." Scott said tried to get Stiles's attention but he just kept his eyes on Lydia. She looked up at him to see his worried look and she nodded slightly, "Tracy... Stiles, I'm fine. Help Tracy. Find Tracy. Go." Lydia said and Stiles hesitated for a moment before following Scott.

"Stiles." Melissa said as she walked up to them making them turn around, "How bad is it?" Stiles asked. "Could have been worse. Avalon, good thinking with the jacket and Theo, nice going on that tourniquet. You guys probably saved her life.." Melissa said making Stiles look over at Theo.
"All right. She's about to go into surgery, so it's going to be a while. Any other supernatural details that I need to know about, or do we just stitch her up and hope for the best?" Melissa asked, glancing at everyone. "It was the tail." Kira said making Melissa look over at her and Scott nodded, "Yeah, Tracy cut her with the tail, if that makes a difference." He said and Melissa nodded before walking off.
"But it wasn't just Tracy. There were the others- the guys in the masks." Malia said making Avalon look at her confused, "Men in masks?" She asked.

"Did you get in to see Lydia?" Scott asked as Stiles, Avalon and Malia ran over to him in the library. "No. I tried using my free period, but she's still in the ICU, and no one outside family is allowed in." stiles said and Scott nodded as Malia set the bestiary on the table.
"Anything in here about half werewolves, half-Kanimas?" Kira asked as she started flipping through pages, "The Chimera." Scott said making Stiles look at him confused. "Uh, what?" He asked and Scott looked up at him, "Chimera. It's a creature made of incongruous parts. And if Liam said he found two burial sites, it means Tracy's not the only one." Scott said.
"Who's the second Chimera?" Kira asked, glancing at them all of them, "And why would they bury them?" Stiles asked. "Deaton thinks it's part of their process." Scott said and Malia nodded slightly, "The people in masks." She said. Avalon furrowed her brows slightly before looking at Scott.
"Hold on. Did you say Chimera?" She asked and Scott nodded, "Yeah, why?" He asked and she shook her head slightly. "Because genetically I'm a Chimera. Microchimerism, when my mom was pregnant with me I had absorbed some of her cells. It's why my eyes are two different colors." She said as she glanced at all of them before making a face.
"Please dont tell me I crawled out of a hole in the ground."

"This way." Melissa said as she let Scott, Kira and Avalon through the hall, "He came in about forty-five minutes ago." Melissa said as they walked towards a room that had loud screaming coming from it making them glance at each other.
"Melissa. I'm gonna find an anesthesiologist covering acute pain. See what you can do." Dr. Geyer said, walking up to Melissa, patting Avalon's shoulder as Melissa nodded before stopping outside the room as the kid named Corey, screamed out in pain. "Mom, what's happening to him?" Scott asked and Melissa sighed, "It's the pain- nothing's working. We've already pumped him full of morphine."
"Can't they do anything to help him?" Kira asked making Melissa look at her, "We can put him in a medically-induced coma. It's how we help burn victims deal with the pain." Melissa said and Scott nodded.
"Let me see if I can help." Scott said before walking into the room. They all walked in, Melissa keeping watch at the door. Avalon, Scott and Kira walked over to Corey who was strapped down to the bed as he screamed. "Please, make it stop. Please, make it stop." Corey begged and Scott gently grabbed Corey's hands.
Slowly, black veins trailed from Corey's hands to his making him both groan. "Scott... Let go " Melissa said but he still didn't pull away as he groaned in pain, "Let go of him." Kira said as she and Melissa pulled him away from Corey.
"I'm okay." He said as he breathed heavily, "Let me see it. Let me see his arm." Scott said and Melissa took off one of the restraints and pulled off the bandage. "Oh fucking hell." Avalon cringed, "What the hell is that?" She asked and Melissa looked over at her. "The lab says scorpion venom." Melissa said making Scott's eyes widen, "Scorpion?"
"I know. But that's not the weirdest part... Because a sting this bad means that he should have been dead ten hours ago, and the scorpion that stung him would have been ten feet tall." Melissa said making Avalon groan, "There better not be ten foot tall scorpions running around." She mumbled. "Lucas..." Corey said making them look at him, "It was Lucas." Corey said.
"Hey, Corey... What Lucas did to you? He's gonna do it to someone else, and it's gonna be much worse." Scott said and Kira nodded, "We need to know what happened." She said. "I don't really know... He's never been like that before..." He trailed off as he sat up, "Like what?" Avalon asked making him look over at her, "Aggressive. We were taking it slow, but it wasn't me- he was the shy one. Then, we're hanging out today, and it's like he was a different person."
"Like different how?"
"Like, super confident. We were just kissing, and then I felt this sharp sting on my arm, and... And then I looked up at him, and I swear, his eyes turned black." He explained and Avalon raised her eyebrows at him, "You mean completely black?" She asked and he nodded. "The whole eye- but it was only for a second. And then he said "Sorry," that he'll see me at the club tonight, and then he just left. And then a few minutes later, I'm in the worst pain of my life."
"Hold on... You said "club." What club?" Kira asked, "Every Friday night... Sinema." He said making Avalon close her eyes and sigh before looking at Scott and Kira. "Liam and Mason are at Sinema right now." She said making their eyes widen.

"A kid turning into a half-scorpion, half-Werewolf? Is there even a myth for that?" Kira asked as they walked up to the club and Scott nodded, "Sumerian. I remember something about it in the Bestiary." Scott said as they walked up to the door.
Scott opened the door and they walked in but all of the sudden lights started flashing and an alarm went off making their eyes widen. Kira pulled something off her belt before throwing at one if the cables on the wall making the alarm stop.
"God, I love you." Scott said before running off into the club. Kira looked wide eyed at Avalon who squinted slightly, "Oh wow, he is bad at timing." Avalon said and Kira huffed and nodded before they both ran after him.
"You did it again! You did something that changed everything, and you don't even realize you did it! But you did." Kira said as they caught up to Scott making him look at her confused, "I did?" He asked. But before Kira could say anything they heard someone roar making them look around before running in a direction. They ran through a bead curtain to see some kid with spikes coming out of his arms and back, on top of Liam.
Scott ran at them and grabbed onto some metal beam, spinning around it and kicking Lucas off of Liam while Kira undid her belt, turning it into her sword. Lucas managed to throw Scott to the ground and then Liam making Avalon run up. He swiped at her but she dodged before grabbing his arm, making sure she doesn't touch some of the spikes before kneeing him in the stomach.
As he bent forward slightly her eyes flashed yellow for a moment before she knee him in the face. He stumbled forward slightly before he charged at her, trying to hit her with his spikes but she grabbed his arm went to punch him. He grabbed her hand before she could and kicked her in the stomach making her fall back.
He turned to Kira, who spun her sword around before running at him. He tried to hit her with his arms but she blocked them with her sword a few times. He grabbed her hand but she quickly kicked him making him stumble back some and went to charge at her but Liam shot out, grabbing him by the shirt before slamming him down on the ground.
His eyes went back to normal making them sigh in relief but Kira's fox aura surrounded her just like it did at the station before running at him. "Watashi wa shi no shisha da!" Kira yelled in japanese, swinging her sword around, about to bring it down onto Lucas but Scott grabbed her arm, stopping her.
She looked at him with a slight glare for a second before the aura disappeared as she realized what was happening. Everyone looked at her in shock as she slowly took a step back. "Is everyone okay?" Scott asked, "My ego hurts." Avalon said as Liam helped her up. "Ava, your eyes. They glowed yellow." Liam said and Avalon sighed and nodded, "I know." She said.
"We need to get him out of here. Liam, give me a hand." Scott said as Avalon walked up to Kira, noticing how she just stared at Lucas. "Hey." Avalon whispered as she gently grabbed Kira's shoulder, "It's alright. You didn't kill him." She said and Kira glanced at her.
All of the sudden an arrow attached to a wire shot through Lucas's chest right as Scott and Liam lifted him up. The arrow shot back out making everyone look up to see the men that Malia kept talking about. "Why did you do that?" Scott asked in shock, "His condition was terminal." One of them answered
"What does that mean?" Avalon asked, taking a step forward and they just turned around to walk away. "Hey tin cans! What the hell does that mean?" She yelled again making them stop and turned back around.
"Failure."
