Madhu notices him. "Rishu?"
Dipali quickly looks at him and fakes a smile, "RK... is this the way to come into a girl's room? No knocking, no asking permission."
RK looks at her confused for a second.
"Taking so much freedom and privileges is not a good thing. People can misunderstand." Dipali chides him.
He sees how Madhu suddenly looks away and he becomes even more furious. "You don't tell me how I should behave with Madhu. Now come outside, I want to talk to you." saying that he walks out while Dipali looked at him as if he had slapped him.
"You don't mind him, Dipali. He is very protective about me." Madhu gently tells her.
"And you don't tell me about my RK!" Dipali furiously tells her.
Madhu looks at her in shock seeing the sudden change in her. "I didn't mean it like that." Madhu tells her.
"I know what you mean and what you don't. You just want to create problems between us, so you can take my place in his life."
Madhu looks at her in shock for a while and then says furiously "You know!"
"That you are behind him? Yes, I do know that."
"And you kept talking about your relation to me."
"Yes! Someone had to set you straight."
"You are sick and disgusting!" Madhu says furiously.
"So are you! Running behind my RK!"
"I am not running behind him, neither am I trying to take your place in his life. Because I already have a place in his life and I'm happy with that. Now get out. Never ever step inside my room."
Dipali furiously steps out the room to find him standing near the stairs.
"Yes?"
"What is taking you so long? Come with me." RK says irritated and starts walking away furiously with Dipali hurrying after him.
Once they were outside in the garden he furiously whips around to her and asks "You know how hurt Madhu is, then why the hell are you talking about our relationship to her?"
"Because for her to move on in life, she needs to know the truth." Dipali tells him in a calm tone.
RK was surprised by that and he looks at her confused.
"The faster she comes to the reality that you never felt anything for her in that way the faster she'll get over her infatuation for you."
"But you are hurting her, Dipali." RK says sighing.
"She needs that, RK. She needs to deal with her heartbreak before she can move on."
"You sure?"
"Yes. Trust me. I know what I am doing." Dipali tells him.
"Okay. Do whatever you feel is right. But never ever hurt her, if you hurt her I'll never forgive you." RK warns her.
Dipali looks away as she tried to control her fury. He worries for that bloody Madhu too much.
"And what made you think that ring is an engagement ring?" RK asks her frowning.
"What?" Dipali turns to him shocked, that Madhu went and ratted her out to him?
"You do know that was just a birthday gift right?" RK asks her.
"Birthday gift?" Dipali asks feigning shock.
"Yes."
"I thought..." Dipali says bringing tears to her eyes.
"What's up with you girls? Why is everyone misunderstanding me? We just started dating and you are thinking about marriage?" RK asks at his wits end.
"Isn't that where it is headed?" Dipali asks him angry.
RK looks at her in shock and then looks away not knowing how to answer her.
"I need to know, RK. Isn't marriage on your mind?"
"I don't know. I haven't thought about that. My thoughts about our future at present are where to take you for dinner the next day or whether to watch a movie with you." RK says angry, he was sick and tired of people misunderstanding him.
"Don't I mean anything more than that to you?" Dipali asks him furiously.
"I like you, Dipali. You are my girlfriend." RK says trying to act calm.
"You don't love me." Dipali accuses him
"I don't even know you properly for that." RK says pissed, sick and tired of the grilling.
"But you know Madhu!"
"Why the hell are you bringing Madhu into this?" RK asks her furiously.
"Don't think I haven't noticed the change in you ever since that Madhu told you she loves you."
"What change?" RK asks irritated.
"You are always running behind her now. You have no time for me!"
"Madhu is hurt because of me! And I can't see her like this."
"Do you love her?" Dipali furiously asks him.
"No." RK replies in a clipped tone.
"And you don't love me." Dipali states.
"When is your flight?" RK asks her in lieu of a reply.
"You want me gone."
"Yes. Your presence here is upsetting Madhu."
"MADHU! MADHU! MADHU! IS THERE NOTHING ELSE THAT YOU THINK ABOUT?"
"Madhu is my priority!"
"And not me?" Dipali asks him shocked and outraged.
"Why the hell are you dragging Madhu into this?"
"You are the one dragging her into this." Dipali tells him.
"I am not!" RK says irritated.
"You are. All you care about is Madhu being upset and not what her presence is doing to me!" Dipali says furiously.
RK sighs and tells her in finality, "Madhu is a huge part of my life and if you can't accept that, then I don't think there is any need for us to take this forward!"
Dipali furiously starts packing as she thought about what RK had told her. She couldn't just go away from here leaving RK to Madhu. If RK was not hers then he sure as hell was not going to be that Madhu's. Dipali thought of what to do to make that Madhu fall in the eyes of RK and his family. Then an idea struck her and she smirks.
Half an hour later, Dipali comes down worried to Mohan and Radha.
"Someone stole my ring!" Dipali tells them.
"What? It will be in your room only. Check properly." Radha tells her calmly.
"No, I checked everywhere. I had kept it on the table with all my other jewellery when I went to take a shower and that ring alone is missing." Dipali tells them.
"Who could take your ring here?" Mohan asks her.
"I want my ring. I'm not going anywhere without it!" Dipali says stubbornly.
"Look in the room properly. Come I'll help you." Radha tells her calmly.
"I checked. I want to search the whole house."
"ARE YOU CALLING US THIEVES?" Mohan asks her furiously.
"No uncle. I don't want any ill feelings for anyone here in my mind, so it is important without a doubt I make sure of that." Mohan looks at her furiously while Radha calmly say, "Let her check then."
Half an hour later, Mohan, Radha, Trishna, Pabbo and Dipali were checking every room one by one and finally found the ring in Madhu's drawer.
"I DIDN'T TAKE THAT!" Madhu says shocked.
"Then what is it doing here?" Dipali asks her.
"I don't know. You might have kept it there!"
"Why would I do that? And you know what this ring means to me!" Dipali accuses her.
Madhu turns to Mohan and Radha tells them as calmly as she could, "I didn't take it."
"I keep telling you, she is not good news but you never believed me. Now see!" Pabbo says furiously.
"Dipali, what is taking you so long? And why the hell are you in Madhu's room again?" RK asks as he walked in with Sultan and stops short seeing the tableau in front of him. "What is happening here?" RK asks.
"Control your girlfriend! Otherwise I'll!" Madhu furiously tells him.
"Girlfriend?" Mohan and Radha ask shocked.
"What happened?" RK asks ignoring his parents.
"Madhu stole my ring!" Dipali tells him.
"WHAT? You crazy? Why would she do that?" RK asks her pissed.
"I don't know maybe because she thinks this is an engagement ring that you gave me and she is in love with you and wants to separate us." Dipali furiously accuses her.
Hearing that Mohan and Radha turns to look at Madhu in shock.
