Tang Jinyu remained silent and ignored her.

Before anyone else could express their disgust at Jian Qi’s words of endearment, Tang Jinyu’s cool voice could be heard. “Do you know what’s the difference between you and a toad?”

Jian Qi laughed. “I’m pretty, but a toad is ugly!”

Tang Jinyu snorted. “No. There is no difference. Both you and a toad dream of acquiring something beyond your means!”
