Jian Qi was slightly annoyed at Tang Jinyu’s actions. He appeared like he was picking up a random cat or dog.

When would he lift her up like she was a princess?

“Instructor Tang, please lift me up like a princess next time. Is that okay?”

Jian Qi complained about it as she was following Tang Jinyu. They walked toward the snowy mountain and hid themselves there.

“Shut up.”

Tang Jinyu stretched his hand out and covered Jian Qi’s mouth directly. Then, he pressed her head with another hand and shifted her closer to him.

Jian Qi’s eyes brightened. When would she be able to take advantage of him again if she did not do it now?

Jian Qi raised her hand and patted Tang Jinyu’s hand which was on her mouth. She signalled to him that she would keep quiet.

Then, Tang Jinyu released his hand.

However, Jian Qi stretched her hands out directly and hugged his waist. She leaned her head against his chest and said with a soft voice, “Instructor Tang, your little goddess needs your protection.”

Tang Jinyu wanted to shove her away but he heard some footsteps approaching their position.

Hence, he changed his actions and pressed her onto his own chest slightly to prevent her from being exposed.

“Brother Long, how do we deal with this person?” A man lowered his voice and asked.

“Bring him back. But, we need to resolve it quickly. If not, the military might realize that he’s gone and would come searching for him. We’ll be in great trouble then.” Brother Long replied.

“Brother Long, why don’t we kill him and bury him here? Then, we won’t be troubled anymore.” His subordinate suggested.

Brother Long took a glance at the injured soldier who was lying on the ground. He shook his head. “The boss asked us not to complicate matters. We better finish our mission and leave immediately.”

One of his subordinates said anxiously when they were talking, “Boss, there’s an ATV which is used specially by the military over there.”

They tightened their grasps on their rifles when they heard that.

Brother Long commanded them seriously, “An ATV can only carry a few people. Go and search for them. Take them away with us!”

Tang Jinyu observed them and realized that they were carrying heavy weapons with them. There was also a local soldier whose leg was injured too.

On the other hand, both he and Jian Qi had no weapons with them.

Moreover, he could clearly feel that there was something wrong with the mission that they were talking about just now.

“Take off your clothes.” Tang Jinyu lowered his voice and said to Jian Qi.

Jian Qi looked up at him. “Little Tang Tang, it’s so cold here. It’s not okay. Moreover, the bandits are still...”

Tang Jinyu took a deep breath. He wanted to scold her but Jian Qi released him quickly and started to take off her camouflage clothes.

A smile crept onto Tang Jinyu’s face unwittingly when he saw Jian Qi burying the clothes deep inside the snow.

She was indeed a smart girl.

She knew what he wanted to do.

Jian Qi was wearing a sweater and a pair of black pants. It was not apparent that she had taken off a layer of coat and pants.

She frowned when she did not see Tang Jinyu taking off his clothes. “Why didn’t you take off your clothes?”

“They’re no fools. They won’t believe us if both of us take off our clothes.” Tang Jinyu replied.

Still looking at them, Tang Jinyu grabbed her hand and led her away. They then changed their location.

Tang Jinyu looked at Jian Qi as she stretched her hands out to hug him again just when they had moved to another place. Then, he glanced at the bandits who were walking past them, not noticing their existence. He pinched Jian Qi’s face.

Jian Qi felt the pain and she looked up at him. ‘What are you doing?’

“Scream!” Tang Jinyu said.

Jian Qi’s lips twitched. “Little Tang Tang, you have such a special hobby.”

Tang Jinyu stared at her. Jian Qi then smiled and shouted loudly. “What are you doing? Be gentle, don’t rush!”

Tang Jinyu. “...”

The bandits were about to leave when they heard her scream. They started rushing toward them and pointed their guns at them.

“Brother Long, we found two people here.” The man who was holding a gun said.
