Chapter 180: Chapter 180 - Have Her Quit

Mu Zi shook her head and replied, “I’m fine.”

As she looked at Mu Zi running ahead of her, Jian Qi noticed that she was staggering.

They had been training for the past few days and had not had any proper rest.

Some of them left because they could not stand the intensive training.

Ever since Mu Zi was injured, she did not have the time to recover. All of these training must have put a toll on her leg.

Jian Qi chased up to her and asked, “Mu Zi, don’t you need to go to the hospital to have your leg checked at?”

Mu Zi shook her head and begged her, “Jian Qi, please don’t tell anyone, okay?”

“But you will lose your leg if you continue on like this. You won’t make it either,” Jian Qi replied.

She knew what would happen if she continued on.

Mu Zi raised her head and looked ahead with a frown on her face.

She seemed to be increasingly depressed.

“I will be fine.”

Jian Qi looked at where she was looking and raised her eyebrows. Who was she looking at?

Mu Zi was determined to stay and Jian Qi was in no place to persuade her otherwise.

As time passed by, some of them could not take it anymore and fell to the ground; while some started retching halfway through.

Jian Qi kept on running while looking out for Mu Zi. She could tell that Mu Zi was not doing fine.

Yet she persisted on and kept on running.

Jian Qi went up to her and supported her. “Can you still manage?”

Mu Zi smiled. “You don’t have to worry about me, I don’t want to drag you down again.”

“Let’s go.” Jian Qi smiled and continued to support her as they ran together.

After running for an hour, Mu Zi stepped on a rock and she slipped and fell.

“Get up...” Jian Qi pulled her up.

Mu Zi tried to push her away. “I can’t run anymore, just go. Don’t worry about me...”

Jian Qi wanted to pull her up but Tang Jinyu and the rest had arrived in their car.

Feng Yi came down from the car first.

“How are you doing? Can you still continue on?” Feng Yi’s tone was considered gentle, unlike when he was talking to other people.

Mu Zi shook her head. “I’m sorry, Instructor...”

This indicated that her training today had come to an end.

“Her leg is injured, please take her to the infirmary!” Jian Qi told them and continued on with her run.

Feng Yi looked at Mu Zi’s leg, he squatted down and asked her, “How are you feeling? Can you stand on your own?”

Mu Zi nodded and tried to stand up by herself but she could not.

Feng Yi bent down and carried her up onto another car. He looked at another comrade by his side and said, “Bring her back to our base and let the doctor have a look at her leg.”

After they left, Feng Yi got back into the car.

“Boss, Mu Zi’s injury seems pretty serious.” Feng Yi was worried.

“Talk to the doctor later. If it’s too serious, have her quit.”

“I don’t think she will quit,” Feng Yi sighed, “I’m surprised that she was able to last until now. They are siblings and they both have the same level of determination, she won’t quit that easily.”

“Then let Lightning tell her,” Tang Jinyu replied.

Feng Yi. “...”

“Boss, are you sure that she wouldn’t be more determined to stay if Lightning were the one to break the news to her?”

Tang Jinyu kept quiet and looked at the people that were still running in front of him.

In the end, he looked at Jian Qi and his gaze deepened.

“Actually, I hope that she can stay but I must think about her future too. She can’t lose her leg just because of training.”
