âThe Revealâ

As soon as Juno and Cyrus were in the car, a heated argument began between the two. Cyrus went on about how Juno had risked their cover, while Juno's argument was the fact that Stiles would have been badly hurt. The two even argued all night, which caused a police officer to come by the house and warn them of the noise.
The next morning, Cyrus and Juno sat in the car in silence. Cyrus was tempted to not even allow Juno to go to school, fearing that Stiles would bombard her with questions or even expose her, but Juno knew that would raise his suspicions. Cyrus pulled up into a parking spot, which coincidentally was right next to the spot Stiles had just pulled up to also.
"You just can't escape that kid can you?" Cyrus muttered under his breath.
"What do I do? He's friends with a Werewolf, I'm sure he won't tell anyone-"
"Exactly. Do you think I want his little dog friends to know there are Vampires in Beacon Hills? Just stay clear, make him think he was just seeing things, you're good at that." Cyrus urged. Stiles pretended to be searching for something in his car, so that he could be able to talk to Juno as soon as she got out of her car. Cyrus sighed. His eyes began to glow as he read the mind of Stiles. He scrunched up his nose in disgust at the thoughts he heard.
Juno rolled her eyes, "what did you expect when you read a teenage boy's mind?" Juno teased.
"No, it's not that. He thinks you're a Werewolf," Cyrus cringed. He couldn't stand the idea of being compared to a Werewolf, a part of Cyrus wanted Juno to prove to him that she wasn't a Werewolf, but a Vampire just for the sake of it, but he didn't want their cover blow.
Juno couldn't help but laugh, "I guess he still needs to work on those detective skills..." Juno then took a deep breath, and got out of the car. Stiles instantly turned around to greet Juno, but she didn't want to face the interview. She quickly walked off and into the school building, ignoring Stiles' calls out for her.
Juno kept looking ahead of her, feeling guilt every time Stiles called out her name. She quickly found the girls' locker room and went inside. She felt relieved that she had track practice for half the day, and she wouldn't have to deal with Stiles.
Stiles sighed as he watched Juno go into the locker room. He made his way into the boys' locker room, where Scott was changing into his gym clothes.
"Is she here today?" Scott asked as he put away his normal clothes.
Stiles sighed, getting his gym clothes out of his bag. "Yeah she is, pretty much bolted as soon as she got out of the car."
"Well she's on the track team so she'll be at practice with us, you can ask her then."
Stiles scoffed, "how? She'll probably just run and come first place in the practice, neither of us could catch up to her even if we tried-"
"Or you could ask her on the bus?" Scott offered. "Look, are you sure you weren't you know, seeing things?"
Stiles looked incredibly offended, making Scott laugh. He sighed and ripped off his shirt in frustration, then put on his other one. "Yes I am sure. I already told you I was in the middle of having my life flash before my eyes, she appeared out of nowhere and pushed an eight hundred pound vending machine with one arm, yes one arm, against a wall!" Stiles urged. "It didn't even look like she tried, it was so effortless, and she made dents in the wall because of it!"
Scott had no other excuse to defend Juno. "Steroids?" Scott joked.
"I'm serious Scott. Afterwards she got kind of irritated out of nowhere, then her eyes glowed, just like yours Scott, they were gold." Stiles urged.
"If she is a Werewolf, then at least we know she's not in the alpha pack." Scott admitted. "Look, I'll find a way to talk to her, I won't push her like you would-"
"I won't push her!" Stiles whined.
Scott rolled his eyes, "you literally tried to chase her down as soon as you saw her!" Stiles sighed in defeat, knowing Scott was right. "I'll be easy on her. If we can't get anything out of her, then maybe we could take her to Derek? I'm sure Derek would know her, or at least Peter..."
Stiles groaned, "ugh why him, I hate them. They'll be like, ten times worse than me."
"Whatever man. Anyway, last night was so weird. This client we had at the vet, he just disappeared. He left his car, even his dog." Scott said as he put on his jacket.
"Could he have been a virgin maybe? Did he look like a virgin? Was he you know... Vigrin-al..." Stiles fumbled, while putting on a hoodie.
Scott sighed, "oh no, definitely not," Scott said with heavy sarcasm. "Deaton makes me have sex with all of his clients, it's a new policy!" Scott smiled and chuckled, thinking his joke was absolute gold, while Stiles stared at him blankly, unamused. "No, I don't know if he's a virgin and he's not dead, he's just missing-"
"Yeah, assumed dead because he was probably a virgin Scott, you know who else is a virgin? Me!" Stiles went on. "That means that my lack of sexual experiences is literally a threat to my life! I need to have sex, like right now! Somebody needs to sex me like today!" Stiles yelled. The harsh sound of a locker door slamming shut alerted Stiles, making him spin around to face Danny.
"I'll do it," Danny announced.
Stiles fumbled in his spot, unsure if he were serious or not. "Wha- really?" He asked.
"Yeah, plan to stay the night, I like to cuddle."
A hint of a smile formed on Stiles' face, while Scott was confused. "That is so sweet, are you kidding?" Danny nodded, then walked away. Stiles shouted at Danny for toying with his emotions as he walked away, which made Scott laugh at his friend's ridiculousness.
The Lacrosse team and other boys who were participating in Cross Country then left the locker room. As they walked through the halls, Stiles saw a glimpse of something golden in the corner of his eye. He looked over, and saw Juno with the three other girls who were doing Cross Country, making their way out of the locker room.
Stiles went to call out her name before Scott covered his mouth. "What did I say? I'll do the talking." Scott hissed. Stiles sulked and agreed, then the boys left the building. They followed Coach to the bus that was at the front of the school, where it would take them not far to where they'd be practicing for the Cross Country event. Juno stood in silence as the other girls talked amongst themselves.
Coach beckoned for the girls to get on the bus first. Juno quickly ran ahead of the others so that she could sit at the back. She hoped that the other girls would sit with her, but instead they sat as far away from Juno as they could. The boys then started filing onto the bus. Stiles tried to push past the other boys, but they were all rushing on. Stiles and Scott were the last two to get on.
Juno kept her eyes down on the floor of the bus, praying that Stiles wouldn't sit with her. She groaned as she could smell the scent of a Werewolf next to her, assuming that it was Scott.
"Well if that's what you think of me then I can just find somewhere else to sit," Isaac Lahey said, faking a hurt expression.
Juno looked up at him and shook her head erratically. "N-no, it's fine!" Juno watched Stiles and Scott sit a few seats down from the two, thanking the universe for not having her be near them at the moment.
"So, are you gonna go easy on the rest of us?" Isaac teased.
Juno giggled, "well why would I let any of you come first when I have the full potential to do it myself?"
"Fair point," Isaac shrugged. The rest of the bus trip consisted of Stiles throwing bits of paper or stray rocks he found on the floor of the bus at Isaac, trying to get him to ask Juno about her being a Werewolf, but Isaac would simply flip off Stiles and continue to talk and even flirt with Juno.
The bus came to a halt, then everyone quickly got off and followed Coach to the beginning of the path set out for the class. The class prepared themselves to begin running by lining up horizontally. Isaac knelt down to tighten his shoelaces, while Juno made sure she was on the opposite end of where Stiles was. Ethan, and his twin brother who Juno didn't know were on either side of Isaac.
Something about them made something tick in Isaac's brain, that they were the cause of the killings. Isaac turned to Scott, "it's them," he said breathlessly. Coach blew his whistle, and Isaac sprinted to try and get to Ethan and his brother, Aiden. Scott called out for Isaac, but he was already long gone.
Juno saw Isaac trying to catch up with Ethan and his brother, and decided to overtake the boys since she knew it bothered them that she was faster. What she didn't realise she was getting into was a chase rather than a friendly Cross Country practice run. She sprinted past Ethan and Aiden, making the two boys use all their power to overtake her, but they just couldn't.
The four were completely ahead of the rest of the class. Juno was way ahead of the other three boys, while Ethan and Aiden disappeared so they could pounce on Isaac once he slowed down.
And Isaac did just that. He slowed down his steps and came to a halt as he looked around for the twins, even a sight of Juno to show he didn't get ahead of himself and go off path. Out of nowhere, the twins tackled Isaac and held his arms behind his back.
"Ethan, I always forget..." Aiden growled as he stared down at Isaac. "How many bones are there in a human body?"
"I don't know," Ethan replied, with a grin spreading across his face, "let's count."
Juno looked behind her as she ran and saw no one behind her. She stopped, worried like Isaac was that she had become lost, and began to retrace her steps. She stopped as soon as she saw Scott throw a punch right into Ethan's jaw, completely dislocating it.
"That's one," Scott breathed out. The four wolves growled, and their eyes began to glow. Ethan moved his jaw back into place, and prepared to fight with his brother. Juno gasped as she noticed Ethan and Aiden's eyes glowed red, and stepped back slightly in fear.
"Alphas..." She whispered. The four looked over at Juno. They all completely changed back to normal at the sight of her. Isaac, Ethan and Aiden were all afraid that Juno would blow their cover, while Scott was worried that the twins would hurt Juno because of it. A feminine scream was heard, which alerted the five, and they all ran in the direction of it.
Juno had to slow her steps as the scent of fresh blood grew stronger. She stopped as she saw a boy, tied to a tree at the neck my what looked like a dog leash. There was blood everywhere, dripping down the back of his head and from his throat. Ethan and Aiden looked shocked to see the body, while Juno covered her eyes to fake a migraine, but to really shield her glowing eyes from anyone else. Stiles noticed her odd behaviour and stopped her in her tracks by grabbing onto her shoulders.
"Juno, are you alright?" He asked, noticing her panting.
Juno cursed the universe for making Stiles so observant of her actions. "I'm just a bit..." She trailed off. "I don't like blood..." She breathed out, sticking to the lie she came up with when she and Stiles were at the pool.
Stiles remembered, and instinctively wrapped his arm around her shoulders. He completely ignored the fact that she was a supernatural, and his protective instincts over her acted up once he saw she was uncomfortable. Isaac couldn't fight the glare on his face, while Scott looked extremely confused, but shrugged it off since there was a literal dead body in front of him.
Juno wasn't normally out of control when she was around fresh blood, but after a long distance run, her energy had depleted. Like all Vampires, no matter how much self control they may have, they become hungry and vicious in the presence of fresh blood after a loss of energy. She clung onto Stiles' hoodie and hid her face in his chest, breathing heavily as she tried to control her hunger. She completely disregarded him being suspicious of her Vampirism; his scent was almost calming to her despite her hunger, but Stiles' scent was her own personal drug, it helped her calm down. And yet again, Juno denied the butterflies in her stomach were her own emotions, but of course, it was all her.
Stiles almost lost balance once he felt Juno hold onto him. He shivered slightly, as her whole body was as cold as ice despite her hoodie and leggings. Stiles looked over to Scott with confused eyes. He looked back down at Juno, then at Scott again. Scott watched as Juno breathed heavily into his chest, he assumed that she must be feeling out of control and beginning to turn into a wolf. The sheriff and numerous other police officers arrived, yelling for the students to move back. Scott chose the wrong time to focus on her heartbeat. He focused his hearing on her heart, and heard nothing over the yelling of the police officers, and the cries of a blonde girl who was presumably the girlfriend of the dead boy.
Stiles ushered Juno over to Scott so that he could talk to his father, while Scott lead Juno to the school bus, followed by a suspicious Isaac. Juno looked at Scott and Isaac, who were on either side of her. She inhaled and felt fine, although they were only a few feet away from the scene, the scent of the two wolves definitely overtook the scent of fresh blood.
Scott put a hand on her shoulder reassuringly as he leaned down to look into her eyes. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked softly, brushing a stray lock of hair from her face.
Juno cleared her throat and nodded, "I'm just really squeamish around that stuff..." She breathed out, rubbing her temples to keep up the act of a headache. "I think I just need to rest, I should have eaten before I ran..." She mumbled.
"Do you need some water?" Isaac asked, taking off the lid of his bottle and offering it to Juno. She wanted to say no, since that was not the thing she needed to drink, but Juno knew if she wanted to keep up the 'squeamish and light headed' act, she would need to take a drink.
She had no problem with ingesting human food, but the nutrients in said food had no affect on Vampires. Sure, many Vampires enjoyed eating human food for the sake of the taste, but Juno never really enjoyed the full feeling when she would get no benefit from it; no energy would be refueled. Juno took the water bottle and tipped it back into her mouth, careful to not let the plastic touch her lips since it belonged to Isaac. She completely downed the drink, finishing all of the bottle's contents and handed it back to Isaac. He looked at her with wide eyes, shocked at how quickly she drank the water.
"Thanks," she sighed. Juno slowly made her way onto the bus, making sure that she looked somewhat dizzy as she left the two boys. As soon as she was out of earshot, Isaac began to panic.
"She saw us, she knows we're wolves, what do we do?" He spoke quickly.
"Relax Isaac, Stiles and I think she's one of us. We're just trying to figure out how we can know for sure, or even get her to admit it..." Scott said. He looked over at Stiles who was talking to his father about the murder, and the injuries on the body. "Look, Stiles said he saw her eyes glow golden, so that means she's not apart of the alpha pack-"
"What if she's the one doing all of this?" Isaac proposed, pointing at the body tied to the tree. "I think it's kind of suspicious that she suddenly runs ahead of the class and disappears, then reappears when the body is discovered..."
Scott shook his head, "no, no she can't be. Did you not see how she reacted in front of the body? Stiles said she did the same when Lydia found that other body."
"What if it's an act?" Isaac's eyes averted to Juno, who was sitting at the back of the bus with her head in her hands. "You know I thought it was the twins, but now I'm thinking it could be her. It's the perfect cover up. The pretty new girl, squeamish around blood, is actually some psycho serial killer Werewolf!"
Scott shushed Isaac as the volume of his voice increased the more he theorised about Juno. He waved over Stiles for assistance to convince Isaac that Juno was not the killer. "I say we take her to Derek, as if she'll admit to us-"
"Woah woah woah, we're not just going to 'take her to Derek' and have him torture the confession out of her." Stiles interrupted, immediately stepping up to defend Juno. "Besides even if we were to do that, how do we get her to him? 'Oh hey Juno come with us, the people that you're trying to avoid, to some sketchy old loft where we have an even sketchier guy interrogate you!' Yeah that sounds great!"
Isaac rolled his eyes, annoyed with Stiles' constant sarcasm. "Well what do we do? Just let her do her keep killing all these people-"
"Hey who said she was the killer?" Stiles snapped. Scott groaned and smacked his hands over their mouths as he noticed Juno spying on them from the bus. She glared at the three boys then turned her gaze down to the floor of the bus. "Oh great, did she just hear everything we said?" Stiles fumbled.
"Well if she has wolf hearing, then most likely yes!" Scott urged. "We'll figure it out. I'll call Derek when we get back to school, then we'll just let it go from there..."
Juno sighed as she pulled out her phone from the pocket of her hoodie and started to message Cyrus.
J: I think they're planning
something to make me
confess. They mentioned
calling someone...
C: Don't message me if
they take you anywhere.
I'll track you if you don't
come to the car for a while
after school.
She sighed as she put away her phone. She looked out the window to the three boys again and noticed they were still discussing her. Juno knew Cyrus' tracking senses were exceptional, so perhaps she would have to let the boys go through with their plan, before it ultimately being ruined by Cyrus.
-
Juno took the books she needed to study out of her locker and put them in her shoulder bag. She examined the blank interior inside of her locker, wondering whether or not she should bother to add a bit of personality to it. She closed her locker door, and jumped at the sight of Stiles leaning against the lockers right next to her.
She glared up at him, "you scared me..." She snapped, securing the lock.
"I'm surprised you're not running away from me right now," Stiles laughed.
"Well, I guess I've just forgotten about whatever I was avoiding you for," she lied. "Why were you waiting at my locker anyway?"
Stiles' lips began to open and close as he tried to figure out what to say. He saw Isaac and Scott at the end of the hall, listening in to their conversation, hoping that he wouldn't cause Juno to run away. "Oh y-you know... Just wanted to see how you were doing after this morning."
"You had all day to do that," Juno replied bluntly. Stiles was caught off guard, and struggled yet again to continue the conversation. She knew well that Stiles was trying to lead her somewhere to question her of her Vampirism. She noticed Stiles' eyes were not on her, but focusing on something down the hall. Juno turned around and saw Isaac and Scott staring at her, but their gaze quickly left her, and they parted ways, pretending to not be staring at her.
Juno looked back up at Stiles and eyes him suspiciously. "Why are Isaac and Scott staring at us?"
"They're being nosy little bastards," Stiles muttered as he watched the two boys leave the hall. "I uhm, I was just going to ask if you wanted to go out and see a movie... Like, right now..." Stiles said slowly. Juno looked down at her pink Converse sneakers to hide the small smile on her face. The feeling of anxiety that was projected onto her from Stiles went away and was replaced with the rare butterfly feeling she would get from him. However, Juno's smile faded, knowing that Stiles didn't want to see a movie with her, he wanted to know of her supernatural status.
Then the guilt washed over the two of them. Stiles felt it in his stomach as he noticed the smile on her face. Of course he would love nothing more than seeing a movie with her, or even just spending time with her doing absolutely nothing. Sadly, he had to lie, so he could know what she was. Juno felt the guilt, then looked up at Stiles. He felt his heart flutter as she brushed her blonde curls out of her face, an action so little that did so much to him.
"Alright," she sighed in defeat. "You better pick a good movie." Stiles grinned down at her, though his eyes showed pure guilt. The two walked through a different exit of the school, where Cyrus usually doesn't pick Juno up from. Stiles had managed to quickly move his car during lunch break, so that her brother wouldn't notice Juno leaving.
Stiles and Juno both got into his Jeep. She wished she had some sort of telepathy power so she could tell Cyrus she was going right then rather than messaging him, since Stiles would notice. Scott and Isaac watched as Stiles reversed out of the parking lot and began to drive away. Scott then grabbed his bike helmet and mounted it. He looked back at Isaac oddly as he stood still.
"Well? Aren't you coming?" Scott asked. Isaac raised an eyebrow, until he noticed Scott holding onto a second helmet.
Isaac groaned, "seriously?" He whined. Scott nodded, with a cheeky grin plastered on his face. Isaac rolled his eyes before putting the helmet on and getting on the back of Scott's bike, making sure to sit as far back from Scott as possible without having the risk of dying. The two boys followed Stiles' Jeep to Derek's loft, where they prayed Juno wouldn't bolt once noticing the sketchy building.
Once arrived, Juno definitely noticed the sketchiness of the building, but went along with Stiles' lie anyway. "Is this supposed to be some sort of edgy theatre no one knows about?" She joked.
Stiles laughed nervously as he got out of the car with her, "yeah I guess you could say that." Juno walked right into the building, shocking Stiles that she had willingly walked in. He led her to Derek's loft, where they both stood outside the large metal door. Juno examined the door, she felt uneasy as it slowly opened. She never expected Stiles to take her somewhere as creepy as this place just to ask her if she were a Vampire or not.
Juno scowled as she noticed two men in the room. One had light brown hair and striking blue eyes, and looked older than the other. He was sat on the edge of a dining room table, with a smirk on his face as he noticed Stiles and Juno in the doorway. The other man had dark hair and green eyes. He stood with his arms folded in a tight short sleeve shirt that accentuated his muscles. He had a brooding look, and it made Juno step back away from the doorway.
"Aw, is the pup afraid?" The older man asked. Juno wanted to laugh in his face and correct him, but she knew she couldn't. She had to stall until Cyrus got to her. Juno noticed the wooden chair with metal shackles tied to it. She glared up at Stiles, making him stumble out of fear from the look of anger she gave him.
"Really? You're going to restrain me!?" She hissed, her voice rising in volume as her anger rose. The man with dark hair raised his eyebrows, waiting for her to turn, or show signs of lycanthropy due to her anger. Stiles sighed and ushered her through the doorway and into the loft. Not long after, Scott and Isaac arrived. "What are you all planning?" She asked.
The man sitting on the table got up and walked over to Juno. "I think maybe an introduction is in order, don't you think it's a bit rude to be invited into someone's home and instantly start bombarding people with questions?"
Juno glared at the man, "that's what you're about to do to me, why can't I do it to you?" She spat.
Scott looked at the floor guiltily, "you knew?"
"It was fairly obvious," Juno muttered. She sighed as she looked at the chair. She sat down in it and rested her arms on the arm rests. "Well? Isn't this what you planned? Might as well get on with it." The boys in the room all looked at her with wide eyes, shocked at her willingness. Juno grew impatient and stomped her foot, "well go on!" She yelled as angrily as she could. The older man then rushed over to her and chained her to the chair. The boys were all afraid she would turn and attack at that point, and took no risks.
Juno sighed and shook her head, "this is ridiculous," she whispered. As the older man was tightening the restraints, Juno glared at him. "It's Juno by the way."
"Peter," the man replied. "That's Derek," he said, motioning to the brooding man. Scott and Isaac both walked over to where Derek was, so they could see Juno's face. Stiles stayed further away leaning against a pillar, not wanting to look at her. It wasn't his plan to take her to Derek, he never agreed to it. Of course, Isaac and Scott both thought it would be a good idea to do so, and with them both being the supernatural ones, Stiles couldn't argue.
"Stiles get over here and tell us what you saw," Derek ordered. Stiles simply shook his head and kept his eyes on the ground. Derek was about to start yelling, before Scott interrupted.
"They were at the hospital. A vending machine was about to fall on Stiles-" Scott was cut off by a loud 'ha' from Peter. "He said she appeared out of nowhere, and pushed it back against the wall with one hand. He said she got agitated, then her eyes began to glow gold." Juno huffed a lock of hair out of her face and rolled her eyes, looking up at the ceiling, wishing Cyrus would hurry.
"This tiny girl right here, pushed a what, eight hundred tonne falling machine back up with one hand?" Derek said disbelievingly.
Scott nodded, "that's what Stiles said." The boys all looked over to Stiles, who nodded. They all looked back at Juno with a hint of fear in their eyes. Derek leaned down so he was closer to her face, and studied her features closely.
"She does look familiar..." He muttered under his breath. "And I've heard the name Juno uttered by some people before..." Juno felt panic, she had never seen either of these new men in her life. How he had familiarity of her she had no idea, she only hoped he was mistaken for someone else.
Juno looked into Derek's eyes, "what's your surname?" She asked him.
"Hale," Derek replied, staring into her dark brown eyes. Derek moved away from her as he noticed her expression change from blank to afraid. Juno and Cyrus knew of the house of Hale, a family of Werewolves that was centuries old. They were one of the many reasons that Cyrus and Juno had grown to dislike Werewolves, due to a one on one fight between Cyrus and a Werewolf with the surname Hale in a bar back in the eighteen hundreds. Juno was then targeted by another Hale family member that she went to school with, and was beaten by them, because they knew of her and Cyrus' Vampirism. The two never found themselves forgiving Werewolves since.
"Right enough stalling, show us your eyes," Peter snapped impatiently.
"Chill out, we don't have to be this way. The restraints were for just in case she turned and got angry! Not so she can be vulnerable and so you can interrogate or torture her!" Scott defended. He moved Peter and Derek out of the way so that he was in front of Juno. He looked at her with his golden eyes, trying to get her to do the same. "Look, we're not trying to hurt you, in fact, we could probably use you and your strength-"
"You really want a killer in the pack?" Isaac interrupted. Juno scoffed, not believing what she was hearing.
"You really think I'm the one killing all of those people?" She spat, losing a little respect for Isaac because of his assumption.
Scott sighed, "no, Stiles and I don't think that, Isaac is just being paranoid," Scott said, glaring at Isaac once mentioning him. He looked back at Juno with sincerity in his eyes. "Really I promise, we won't hurt you."
Juno's glare softened. She wondered if maybe the wolves wouldn't hurt her if they knew she were a Vampire. She was of course worried that the Hale men would act on her, but her biggest worry was what Stiles would think of her. Would he think of her as a monster?
Juno stared right into Scott's eyes and spoke slowly, "I'm not a Werewolf."
"Check her heart rate," Derek immediately said, not believing Juno. "Say it again."
Juno hesitated and looked at Scott worriedly. He looked back at her apologetically, and nodded slightly for her to go on. Stiles brought his eyes up from the ground and noticed her nervousness when asked about her heart rate.
"I'm not a Werewolf," Juno repeated. Scott focused his hearing. He squinted as he tried to concentrate, but he heard nothing. He looked back up at Juno, confused. He stepped back, and kept looking at her, trying to figure out what was wrong.
"Well?" Stiles asked impatiently.
Scott shook his head slowly. "I didn't hear anything," he muttered. Those words were what made Stiles feel numb. The realisation had finally hit him, and he thought back to all of the obvious signs. Her ice cold skin, how uncomfortable around blood she was, the photo of her 'relative' from the fifties, her speed, her strength, and her glowing eyes. Stiles knew that Juno wasn't a Werewolf, but a Vampire.
Derek realised too, knowing well that Vampires didn't have heartbeats. His eyes began to glow red, and his claws grew. Derek growled as he pounced onto Juno, causing the chair to fall back with Juno in it. Derek wrapped his hands around her neck and gripped as tightly as he could. Stiles was the first person to run to Derek and try to rip him away from Juno. Scott and Isaac both tried also but they were no match for Derek's strength. Peter yelled in the background at Derek as he kept his hands around her neck.
"You blood sucking corpse!" Derek screamed in her face as he dug his claws into her neck, causing Juno to wince out in pain. Juno's eyes began to glow gold as she built the strength to prepare to break her restraints, it was too late for her to wait around for Cyrus, and needed to act on her own accord. She ripped her hands free from the metal restraints and using as much strength as she could, Juno shoved Derek off of her, which sent him flying into the wall of windows across from them. The windows shattered, and shards of glass fell onto the ground and onto Derek. He laid on the ground with shards of glass stuck in parts of his back. He got up slowly and tried to walk forward, but lost his balance.
Peter rushed to his side to support him, then the loft door burst open, and there were loud and fast paced foot steps. Juno turned around and saw Cyrus storming over to Derek with his eyes glowing gold. Stiles, Scott and Isaac all stepped away from Juno as they watched her brother rush in with rage in his eyes.
"Touch her with your dirty paws again and I'll kill you!" Cyrus shouted through gritted teeth. Cyrus knew that the wolves had found out about Juno's status, so he could care less if they knew about his. He was about to charge at Derek, but Scott rushed in front of him, holding out his hand for him to stop.
"Look, we didn't want to hurt her, Derek just-" Scott tried, but stopped his words when Cyrus stepped closer to him threateningly. Juno massaged her neck, glaring at Derek who struggled to pick himself up. Juno slowly looked up to see Stiles staring at her brother with his mouth hanging open, with the corners of his mouth upward slightly, hinting at a slight smile hidden behind his shock. Juno felt less afraid of Stiles' judgement when she sensed not fear from him, but excitement.
Stiles couldn't quite understand how he felt. For one, he felt quite idiotic for not seeing the signs of Vampirism and mistaking her for a Werewolf. He felt intrigued by the fact that she and her brother were Vampires, but no part of him was afraid since he had become quite desensitized to the presence of supernatural creatures. It was only a matter of time for a Vampire to appear in town, Stiles just didn't know when. He closed his mouth when he made eye contact with her. He looked at her with sincerity in his eyes, and a small smile formed on his face. Juno knew from the look that he didn't think she was a monster, and she felt something in her chest that she couldn't quite explain.
"F-for the record this whole thing wasn't my idea-" Stiles stuttered. He instantly stopped talking when Cyrus flashed his fangs at him. Stiles stumbled back in fear at the sight of Cyrus' fangs, "well I'm not talking to him again," he muttered under his breath.
"Look it was my idea to bring her to Derek, we thought she was a Werewolf and thought that Derek would know her-" Scott tried.
"Was it your idea to chain her to a chair?" Cyrus raged.
Isaac stepped forward guiltily, "that was my idea..." He mumbled. "We thought she would get aggressive..." Cyrus pinched the bridge of his nose as he tried to fathom the motives of the idiot boys in front of him. He sighed in frustration and glared at the Hale men.
"Was it your idea to also have that mutt put his hands on my sister?" He spat.
"No! None of us wanted that! Derek just got a little bit out of control," Scott urged. "I know, we made a dumb choice, but we just wanted to be cautious!"
Juno stepped closer to Cyrus and looked up at him. "Read their minds," Juno whispered ever so quietly so only he could hear. Cyrus looked back at the boys and quickly traveled through their minds. The boys had no idea what was happening, and watched as Cyrus stood still, staring at each of them. He sighed upon realising that the three teenage boys in front of them didn't mean any harm, although he was skeptical about Isaac Lahey, for he thought Juno was involved with the killings.
Cyrus pointed at Peter and Derek. "If I see you two again so help me I'll rip you to shreds," Cyrus threatened. He grabbed Juno's forearm, and the two instantly disappeared from the loft as they sprinted out of the building. Stiles stood dumbfounded, he'd never seen anything move that fast before.
"Woah..." Stiles muttered with the hint of a smile on his face.
