'Hello, this is Chenle.'
'And this is Jisung.'
'We've sent you this to ask you a favour. A very little and simple favour: don't search for us.'
'We know we're selfish for doing this, but it's a decision that we took together and we hope you'll respect it.'
'We feel we need to start over. We need to leave everything behind in order to be happy. Our lives have come to a point where they're so entangled there's no turning back, so we've chosen to just cut the threads that had tied us to this unresolvable mess. This is a goodbye. A goodbye to all the people that have been in our lives.'
'Some of you helped us. Some of you didn't. But what matters is that all of you were important to us at some point in our lives. Thank you for being in our lives, whether it was for the good or for the bad.'
'Good bye, Dejun. I know you have no empathy and often struggle with relating to others. You're cruel and heartless, but I do know deep inside you're capable of loving.'
'Good bye, Jaemin and Jeno. You were amazing friends. You always supported me, I know I can always rely on you two. Good bye to Renjun too, and thanks for helping me in my plans even though you knew how crazy they were.'
'Good bye, Kunhang. I hope you don't accidentally kill yourself doing something stupid in the lab, although you've done some heartless things, so I wish karma punishes you just a little bit.'
'Good bye, Taeyong. And Doyoung and Jaehyun too. You three taught me what loyalty is, although I ended up betraying all those principles to be with the love of my life. Also, I think you should learn how to forgive people, Tae.'
'Good bye, Sicheng. You were always so nice and helped me with my studies a lot. I just wish you'd have a stronger will and you had helped us as you knew what your friends were doing to Yukhei was wrong.'
'Good bye, Johnny. I know you've suffered a lot and you're still not over Taeil, but I really hope you can move on and have a life of your own without the past haunting you. Good bye to Markhyuck as well. I hope your relationship lasts, even though I feel you two have been so distant lately.'
'Good bye, Chittaphon, wherever you are now. I don't know if you're in heaven or hell, but I think you deserve to be in hell. You mistreated Yangyang and manipulated him like a puppet. Did you ever truly love him, or was it just funny to mess with him? In case you're alive, don't even think of searching for Yangyang. There's no point in doing so. He left.'
'Good bye, Jungwoo. I know you always play innocent, but deep inside you have a dark side you like hiding. Don't be afraid to show it, we're all aware of the fact not everything in life is rainbows and flowers and I'm sure everyone will still love you even if you aren't an innocent baby.'
'Good bye, Yukhei. You're my best friend and I've always appreciated you. Thanks for being there for me through thick and thin. Thanks for protecting me innumerable times and for helping me improve my fighting skills. I owe you a lot and I'm sorry I couldn't return it.'
'Good bye, Baekhyun. You were constantly a shoulder to cry on, and I was yours as well. I sometimes feared you'd get tired of me for being hopelessly in love with someone you thought didn't love me back. I wish you the best and I hope Chanyeol treats you right. Good bye to Chanyeol too. I know we're almost strangers now, but don't feel bad about it. You will always be my brother whether you remember it or not.'
'Good bye, Lucas. I know you hate me, just like you hate Yangyang. I've always wondered why, because I can't recall ever being mean to you. You have a really bad temper and you're quite psychopathic, but I forgive you because I know deep inside you love Yukhei like a brother, so take care of him.'
'Good bye, father. Thanks for raising me. I think I've grown up to be a man you can be proud of. You taught me how to live and always wanted the best for me. I partly blame you for my anger issues, but I forgive you because I've learnt how to control them pretty well. I love you, father.'
'Good bye, Kun. You were like a father to me. I know you probably hate me right now, but it's fine. All those years with you felt very nice, although I do now realise what we did was very wrong. I partly hate you for putting those racist ideas in my head. However, I must thank you for raising me and looking after me for so long. By the way, don't think I didn't see you smiling right before I ran away. I know you have emotions, and I don't really see the point of hiding them.'
'We are aware of the fact we both made a lot of mistakes, but we forgave each other just like we will forgive all those who hurt us, and we hope you forgive us too for what we're about to do.'
'And with this ends this good bye message. Thank you all for listening, and see you in another life!'
Kun sighed as he disconnected the earphones from his phone. His gaze landed on his side, where an immobile body laid on a hospital bed. The regular beep could be heard in the background, until it slowly died down and eventually became a constant, high pitched noise.
He took Chittaphon's hand in his, it was still warm, although he knew it wouldn't be for long. The medical professionals rushed in right after hearing the sound, doing everything they could to keep the patient alive.
Kun remained calm, despite the anxiety and tension in the hospital room being evident. One of the doctors approached him, shaking his head. Kun lowered his eyes, looking down.
The three professionals left the room as they felt they shouldn't be there. Kun dropped himself on the chair next to the body that was starting to cool down and took his hand again.
He smiled bitterly, soon feeling the tears welling in his eyes. He let them roll down freely, he was crying. He didn't remember when was the last time he let himself cry. He usually put on a strong facade that didn't let him show his emotions. Chenle's voice resonated in his head.
'I know you have emotions, and I don't really see the point of hiding them.'
He finally broke down, crossing his arms on the hospital bed, next to Chittaphon, and laying his head on top of them. He stained his sleeves with his tears, but he didn't care anymore.
A tear escaped Chenle's eye as he kissed Jisung with all his passion. Jisung wiped it with his thumb and kept kissing the shorter, cupping his cheeks gently. The kiss wasn't lustful nor hungry, it was innocent and with the mere intention of showing the love they had for each other.
They pulled away seconds after, catching their breath.
'We're free.' Chenle said, looking at Jisung in the most loving way.
'Finally. We can start over.' He added, holding Chenle's hands gently.
'I'm Chenle, nice to meet you.'
'I'm Jisung. Nice to meet you too.'

Author right here :D
And with this chapter ends 'You're A Monster', hope you all enjoyed it!
(Yes, I'm sad too :')
Honestly, it was very entertaining to write this story and I loved it, although there's some things I don't really like about it and I wish I had changed before, but I guess we all gotta learn from our mistakes! I'll keep improving with new fanfics and maybe someday I will rewrite a better version of this ChenJi.
Also, if you liked it, I kindly ask you to check out my other stories (I have a MarkHyuck and a JaeYong started right now and might start a DoTae soon as well)
Thank you all for reading!
