Jisung helped the human get up from the floor. He then got closer to him an whispered in his ear, making sure Chenle wouldn't hear.
'You did it on purpose, right?' He told Yangyang, looking at the blood stains in his clothes.
'What?' He tried to play innocent, but he knew the vampire had found out.
'You knew it wouldn't be easy to trick Chittaphon, so you made it obvious so that he discovered us. You were planning to kill him from the start.'
Yangyang smiled bitterly to himself.
'Yes. I did.'
And it was true. Yangyang purposefully poured an excessive amount of sleeping drugs in the coffee, he turned off Chittaphon's alarm and prepared a perfectly suspicious set-up. He knew Chittaphon, and he knew the older knew him way too well to fall for something like that, so he turned the tables and went even further than Chittaphon would have ever imagined. He couldn't deny deep inside it was satisfying to watch the older grow suspicious of his exaggeratedly sweet behaviour and think he could outsmart him.
He, for the first time, felt he'd overpowered his teacher. Because Chittaphon was the one who had taught him how to lie, how to pretend, how to manipulate others with subtle actions.
The van stopped, they had already arrived at their destination. Taeyong motioned for them to get out and they all went inside the big house.
'I want a recompense.' Taeyong said, out of the blue.
'What?' Jisung asked, clearly confused.
'I helped you rescue two pathetic humans and a defective vampire. I expect something as a thank you.' Taeyong said, throwing himself on the couch and waiting for Jisung's response.
With just a look, the other vampires understood what Taeyong wanted. In a fast movement, Johnny restrained both of Jisung's wrists behind his back. Doyoung and Jungwoo appeared behind Chenle and Yangyang respectively, wrapping an arm around their neck and using the other hand to point a knife they'd just taken from their pockets at their waist.
The three froze in their place.
'That's not what we agreed on.' The younger protested.
'Well, I changed my mind.' He said as he got up again. He walked upon Lucas and literally checked him out, tracing his ribs and slight abs as the vampire was completely shirtless. Lucas looked skinny, which wasn't a surprise since he hadn't been properly fed for the past days. 'We accepted the responsibility of feeding this big guy right here, but as you know I'm no charity organisation, I won't do anything for free.'
Jaehyun was standing awfully close to Lucas, making clear that although he was not physically restrained Jaehyun watched his every move.
'Fine.' Jisung finally accepted. 'What do you want?'
Taeyong eyed Chenle and Yangyang. He loved how helpless and weak they looked at the moment. He loved feeling he had the power to end their lives in a matter of seconds. He stopped right in front of both of them.
'I want a human.'
'What?! No, you're not taking Chenle-'
'I know. I know you won't want me to take YOUR human away. But what about the other one?' Taeyong said, approaching Yangyang. 'He's a little skinny and not very tall, but whatever.'
'Don't fucking touch Yangyang!' Chenle protested. However, the pure blooded completely ignored him.
'You really think you're in a position to tell me what to do, don't you?' He placed a finger under Yangyang's chin and forced him to look up. Then, he slowly buried his face in the human's neck, brushing his nose against the warm skin. He could feel the human's pulse, the blood running through his veins.
He felt the human tremble. Yet, he didn't care. He licked a spot on his neck, making Yangyang whimper, and brushed his teeth against it.
He stopped all of a sudden, separating himself from the human's neck. He placed his hands on Yangyang's shoulder and pushed him down, forcing him on his knees.
Jaehyun passed him an object. Taeyong successfully caught it and showed it to everyone in the room. It was a leather choker, with a metallic lock in the middle. He put it around Yangyang's neck and locked it.
'Good boy~' He said, patting the human's head mockingly. 'Don't worry, you won't be able to take this off without the key.' He said as he waved the key in front of Yangyang, right before keeping it in his pocket.
Then, Jaehyun connected a leash to Yangyang's collar, to humiliate him completely.
'How does it feel, little human? How does it feel now to be treated like you used to treat vampires?' Taeyong asked.
Yangyang looked down, not daring to say a word. Taeyong tsked and slapped him. Hard enough to leave a red mark and make him stumble, not hard enough to kill him nor break anything.
Chenle wanted to do something, but as soon as he moved he felt a knife poking his side and warning him not to move.
'Next time I ask you a question, you answer.' Taeyong spat.
Yangyang incorporated himself and nodded.
'It's time for you to go home, kids.' And with that being said, Jisung and Chenle were kicked out of the house, with Lucas and Yangyang staying with the other vampires.
'What the fuck is this, Jisung?!' Chenle yelled at the younger as he grabbed him by the collar. He held his fist soon, threatening to punch him. However, Jisung knew that no matter how hard the human punched him, it wouldn't hurt much.
Jisung looked down.
'I... I'm sorry... I didn't know this would happen.'
They were in the younger's house, in Jisung's room, in the middle of a heated argument.
'You, out of all the vampires in the world, chose Taeyong, a criminal who kills humans like mosquitoes, to help us??? Really, Jisung?! I thought there was something in there, but I guess it's all air.' Chenle said, pointing at Jisung's head.
'But Chenle, I had no other option! My father hates you for obvious reasons, Johnny and Mark hate you, Donghyuck hates you and Jeno probably does too. Taeyong is the only one you haven't hurt directly! How could I trust someone that had personal problems with you to escape?!'
Chenle gritted his teeth. Jisung was right, but he didn't like that one bit.
'Look, Jisung. I didn't hesitate to leave Kun and Chittaphon behind just for Yukhei. I won't hesitate to leave YOU for Yangyang!'
Chenle's words weighed in both their hearts. However, Jisung didn't resign this time.
'No. We both know that's not true. You will not leave me, because you can't. You always end up coming back to me, Chenle. You know we were meant to be. You can't just run away because we'll eventually meet in the future. You can't live without me, Chenle. You need me!' He said, involuntarily raising his voice in the end and making Chenle flinch.
'I- I hate you!' Chenle said, and he ran away from Jisung, heading to some other room in the house.
