'You sick fuck! How dare you?' Johnny yelled at the vampire in front of him while holding the corpse that was tossed at him.
'Oh, come on. Don't tell me you pity him now.'
'He's my fucking boyfriend!'
'You mean was.' Hyunwoo laughed as he saw the heartbreak in Johnny's eyes. 'Be honest, Johnny. You wanted him to die. Why would you introduce him to us otherwise?'
'Exactly. You can't show off your human pet and then expect us not to touch him.' Hyungwon said as he was licking his fingers. He still had blood in them. Taeil's blood.
The group of vampires vanished slowly and Johnny was left alone, in a dark place, with Taeil in his arms.
The human opened his eyes and stared at Johnny with a poker face. He then pushed the vampire away with an inhuman force. His wrists and ankles had scratches from the restrains that had been used to keep him from moving while Johnny's 'friends' killed him slow and painfully. His clothes were ripped and showed his mistreated skin covered in wounds.
'It's all your fault.'
'T-taeil?'
'It's your fault, Johnny.'
'Taeil, you're alive?'
'It's your fault they killed me. It's your fault for introducing me to them. It's your fault for having a human boyfriend while being a vampire.'
'Taeil, please... Don't say that...'
'You have no clue how much I suffered because of you. They bit me, and when I was dizzy from the blood loss they abused me. They raped me, Johnny. They raped me and then they tied me to that chair. They beat me up. They used a knife to carve nasty words all over my body and they licked each of those words until there wouldn't come blood from them anymore.'
'I'm sorry...' Johnny could now read the words written in red all over Taeil's stomach, thighs and chest. 'Slut.' 'Pet.' 'Toy.'
'I cried all the time. I screamed for you to come save me until the last moment, but you didn't. You came late. They killed me. They killed me, Johnny. They killed me because of you. They killed me because they're monsters, just like you. They're monsters for doing this to me and you're a monster for letting them. You're a monster! You're a disgusting monster, Johnny!'
'Johnny!'
The vampire gasped as his eyes widened.
He was dreaming.
Taeil actually never talked after being killed. He couldn't. He was dead. Taeil was dead and Johnny felt extremely guilty for it. He had learnt to ignore that and forget about that event in his life, thanks to his true friends telling him it wasn't his fault. Of course he had cut ties with the vampires who did that to the love of his life, but the remorse was still there. To make things worse, everyone around him was now reminding him of how much of a monster he was for being a blood sucker.
After spacing out for a few seconds more, he noticed Ten was on the floor, with a terrified look in his face.
'J-johnny? Why'd you push me off..?' The human's eyes started getting teary as he slowly got up, holding onto the desk for support.
'I-I'm sorry... Are you okay?'
Ten shook his head as tears flowed down his cheeks. He wiped the tears on his face.
'Y-you hurt me...'
Johnny panicked as he saw the human sobbing and leaving the room in a rush.
Chittaphon wiped the fake tears off his pretty face and smirked once he made sure the vampire didn't follow him and he was now alone.
So... Taeil, huh?
'Earth to Jisung.'
'Eh?'
Jisung blinked twice before realising he had been staring at the older's face way too long.
'Were you even listening to me?'
'Uhm... yea...'
'What's the answer for question number 7?'
'Uranium 235.'
Next thing he knew, his ears were suffering due to the high pitched dolphin-like laugh Chenle was letting out.
He glanced at the paper with the questions and read the number 7.
'What is hyperinflation?'
Well fuck.
'I still don't know how on earth you pass your exams if you spend the day daydreaming...' Chenle laughed at him.
Maybe because the teachers aren't as pretty as you, Zhong Chenle.
'Me neither... haha...' Jisung answered timidly. He was blushing but he was good at hiding it.
Chenle proceeded to read the next question, but as he did so his shirt's collar moved slightly. Jisung saw a faint purple mark on the older's skin, so he shamelessly pulled him closer and unbuttoned the first two buttons of Chenle's shirt.
'H-hey!' Chenle pushed his hands away and covered himself, buttoning his shirt again. However, it was too late. Hiding had already seen the purple marks on Chenle's collarbones.
Jisung's mind was starting to get clouded with thoughts. He couldn't tolerate someone else marking his Chenle.
Jisung, stop. He's not yours.
'I'm thirsty. I'll go get some water.' Chenle awkwardly got up and headed to the kitchen, which much to his disgrace was on the fifth floor, to get a glass of water.
As the older left the library and went upstairs, Jisung decided to follow him to make sure his eyes weren't deceiving him.
They weren't.
Chenle was... limping.
Jisung couldn't stand it anymore. He was completely certain someone had fucked his baby. He took his backpack and angrily left Chenle's house without thinking twice.
As he was walking home his mind cleared.
Calm down, Jisung. This is not healthy. You know what happens when you get obsessed, calm down please.
'Woah, Chenle. You walk like you've been fu-'
'sHUT UP YUKHEI. We both know this is YOUR fault.'
'For being too strong?'
'No. For being too stupid.'
'Chenle~ I already apologized for accidentally making you fall off the ladder~'
'That's not all! The ladder fell on me and now it looks like I get beaten at home or something!' Chenle threw a fit in front of Yukhei, accidentally spilling water on the taller.
Yukhei was wearing a white shirt, which now was completely see-through thanks to the water that soaked it.
'Woah Chenle, I know you love my body but you could have just asked me to take the shirt off!'
Chenle smacked the taller and went downstairs where Jisung was waiting for him.
Or so he thought.
Once he got downstairs he realised there was no one in the library. Jisung was gone and so was his backpack. He took his phone to call him, but he heard the device's ringtone under one of the books Jisung had left in the library.
Fantastic. Now Jisung had disappeared out of nowhere and he had no other way to contact him.
