It was a sunny afternoon when Ishan got a call from his elder brother, Hardik.

"Ishan, we're going out tomorrow," Hardik announced.

"Where to, bhaiya?" Ishan asked, curious.

"Escape room," Hardik replied. "Bring your friends, but don't mess around too much."

"Mess around? Who, me?" Ishan replied with mock innocence.

Hardik didn't reply, but Ishan could imagine his brother shaking his head.

Excited, Ishan called his squad—Mayank, Shubman, Abhishek, Rishabh, and the unpredictable Siraj. When they arrived at the venue the next day, Hardik was waiting with his crew: Virat, Rohit, KL Rahul, and Bumrah.

The host greeted them. "Today, you'll split into two teams for a challenge. You have 90 minutes to solve puzzles and escape. Team Hardik versus Team Ishan. May the best team win!"

Hardik smirked. "You sure you're ready, Ishan?"

"Always," Ishan replied confidently.

Team Ishan's Escape Room

The team entered their room, finding it set up like a medieval castle. A huge locked door stood at the far end, and the walls were covered with paintings, symbols, and torches. A scroll on the table read:

"The key to freedom lies in the flames."

"Flames?" Mayank muttered.

"These torches look fake. Maybe they're a clue," Shubman suggested, examining one.

Abhishek pulled at a nearby torch, and it clicked, revealing a hidden compartment in the wall.

"Well done!" Rishabh said, pulling out a piece of parchment with a riddle.

"I am always running, but never move. What am I?"

"Easy! A river," Ishan said.

As they solved the riddle, a trapdoor in the floor opened, revealing a ladder leading down. Siraj, excited, was the first to climb down. "Whoa, guys, there's a whole maze down here!"

The maze was dimly lit, with glowing arrows on the walls. Abhishek led, while Ishan and Shubman deciphered which paths to take using a map they found. Siraj wandered off, triggering a loud buzz.

"Siraj! Stay with us!" Mayank called, laughing.

Eventually, they reached a treasure chest, but it was locked with a number code.

"Another puzzle?" Shubman groaned.

The note on the chest read:

"I'm the beginning of everything, the end of everywhere. I'm the beginning of eternity, the end of time and space. What am I?"

"The letter E!" Abhishek exclaimed.

They entered the code and opened the chest, finding a sword.

"What do we do with this?" Rishabh asked, holding it up.

"Look for something it fits into," Ishan suggested. They soon found a stone pedestal with a sword-shaped slot. Inserting the sword revealed a hidden passage.

Team Hardik's Escape Room

Hardik's team found themselves in a jungle-themed room. Vines covered the walls, and the sound of chirping birds filled the air. Their first task was to find a hidden idol.

"Start looking," Hardik ordered.

Bumrah found a clue in a fake tree:

"To find the idol, combine nature's elements."

Virat pointed to a corner where there were symbols of earth, fire, water, and air. "Looks like we need to solve this puzzle first."

KL Rahul quickly arranged the symbols in the correct order, and a small compartment opened, revealing the idol. They placed it on an altar, which triggered another set of challenges involving ropes and balancing beams.

"We're making good time," Rohit said as they moved to the next stage.

The Final Challenge

Both teams reached their final rooms at almost the same time. Team Ishan found themselves in a room with four mirrors and a pedestal holding a glowing orb. A note on the pedestal read:

"To escape, align the light with truth."

Rishabh examined the mirrors. "We probably have to reflect light somehow."

Abhishek found a lever that turned on a beam of light. Together, they adjusted the mirrors until the light hit a target on the wall. A panel slid open, revealing the final key.

Meanwhile, Team Hardik faced a similar task but with rotating gears. They worked together quickly, solving it in record time.

As both teams rushed to their exits, they collided in the hallway.

"We're out first!" Ishan shouted.

"No way, we were!" Virat countered.

The host arrived, laughing. "It's a tie! Both teams finished at the exact same time."

"Well played, little bro," Hardik said, patting Ishan on the back.

"Next time, we'll win outright," Ishan replied, grinning.

"Siraj was the MVP!" Siraj announced, to everyone's laughter.

"You mean Most Vexing Player," Abhishek teased.

The day ended with jokes, teasing, and a newfound appreciation for each other's teamwork. It was an adventure none of them would forget.

The End.
