I watch Abby run.. well at least it would have felt that way to her but to the world she was just jogging. Pains me she's still gonna get the top bunk bed after all the effort.

Just as I proceed to the cabins, I spot Noah walking up to me from behind. I don't even hold the eye roll I render him. My eyes flutter down to the luggage in his hand. I guess he was the person with her luggage she was trying to tell us about earlier.

"Look-

"No", I cut him off and there's an instant bend of his brows, clarifying that he didn't like to be told that. "You listen, but first what do you think true love is?",

He chuckles and when he sees my face remains neutral, he asks, "Oh you're serious?",

"Since this is about Abby, yes I am", I say and he frowns.

"Look whatever you're on about I don't care. Just stay out of my business",

"Stop being self centered, no one cares about you. The only person's business I've been all up in, is Abby's", I tell him, crossing my arms now.

"She's mine",

"She's no one's to claim", I say as a matter of fact then take a step closer to him. He straightens himself to seem taller. Albeit just one more inch and we could have met eye to eye.

"You go on calling her princess but you don't treat her like one. Stop messing around", I say and the anger in his eyes seem to melt away as he wears a solemn expression now.

When he stays silent I turn to walk away and when I'm a bit far he calls out.

"True love..", he starts so I turn to look at him, "Is a never ending desire and I'll be the one to show her that".

I turn around to leave, not sparing him another glance or a word. I walk into the first cabin and not so surprisingly, it's filled up already. I make my way to the next and I'm glad to see a an empty spot.

It's understandable that the only empty spot is a top bed. I walk to the end of the room where the bunk is then place my bag on it. With the way this one looks, I'm guessing the cabins have five bunks each in them and since there's about five cabins and the boys are more than the girls, we'll be taking the first three cabins.

I was never one to socialize, I stand idly watching the rest of the boys hold a conversation. Some start to take off their shirts and I remember how living with a lot of boys felt like again.

When my dad I moved to Columbia from Mexico, we had nothing but somehow we left with everything. We did a lot of things to live comfortably as we do now.

Worked for dangerous people, lived with dangerous people. And even so, it was bittersweet leaving.

Even if I might miss that old life.. I think I like this little life.

"Hey dude", someone calls out so I turn to see the boys waving me over.

I walk up to them.

"You're that cool biker guy right?", blue eyes and blonde hair asks and I give out a single nod.

"Uh.. yeah, you can say that", I say, stuffing my hands into the pocket of my jacket.

"That was sick man",

"Yeah, fire entrance",

"Hey, how come I've never seen you in school?", he asks and the others hum in agreement.

"Uh, lone wolf I guess", I shrug and they nod with a round of ohs.

"What's the name?",

"Hernan", I say.

"Bryan", he says with a smile and I give him a small one with an acknowledging nod.

"Steve", another guy with shaggy hair says.

"Donald", another with shaggy hair and a striking resemblance to Steve says so I look back at Steve with confusion.

"They're twins", Bryan helps point out so I nod and they laugh.

"Reece",

A lean tall boy with a nose piercing and bangs.

"Blake",

Wearing a varsity jacket so I suppose he's in the football team and not to mention he's good looking. They say good looking guys are always in the football team.

"Byron",

Strong built and short hair looking like a new version Broc Lesnar.

"Anime lover", some guy wearing a cartoon shirt says and they all groan. What's an anime?.

"Shut up man", Blake says with a roll of his eyes.

"You guys should give it a try", he says then turns to me, "This is an Akatsuki shirt by the way and I'm Shelton", short brown haired boy says with a smile.

"Dexter", a guy with dark hair says with no enthusiasm. I'm guessing he's emo by the dark clothing.

"And I'm Ossy", a friendly looking guy says with a small wave. What kind of name is that?.

"So now that we're all acquaintance, who's here for math?", Bryan asks and we all lift our hands up. Math's a bitch.

"English?", Blake asks but no one raises their hand so he quietly puts his hand back down.

"More than one subject?", Shelton asks and about six of us lift our hands up. "Glad to know", he nods.

It's nice to know there's a few people who failed two subjects but are there any who failed three, like me?.

The sound of a loud horn startles everyone, except Dexter though. Is his soul dark as well or has he just been to a camp before?.

"Come on out campers.. or students", the older camp counselor says so we all troop out of our cabin. All the students pour in on the camp ground surrounding the counselors.

"Now students, we are going to begin the allocation of students to their tutors", Mr warren says and I look around for my pips.

Callie's a bit shorter than Abby so it might be hard to spot her but Abby.. I don't think anyone can miss that ginger hair of hers. I spot her standing alone with her hand wrapped tightly around her elbow. She does that when she's nervous.

I'm about to walk over to her when Bryan drops an arm on my shoulder. "Who'd you thinks gonna be your tutor?", he asks and I shrug, noticing Shelton, Blake, Ossy and Reese next to us. When did they all get here?

"I don't know", I say. I wish they'd give me Callie cause she's the only one I'm familiar with asides Abby who unfortunately isn't a tutor.

"I want Loren", Shelton says coming forward with a dreamy look on his face.

"Fuck Loren, I want Priscilla", Blake says and I wonder who that is but when I look across to the tutors I notice there's someone else looking flashy just like Loren with silky dark hair. Biggest bet that's Priscilla.

"To make things easier and faster, we have prepared a list of tutors and their students. Camp counselor Trevor will help in pasting them on the camp notice board", Mr Walker says and we watch as Trevor walks to the notice board.

"When he's done you all can take a look and find out who you're assigned to. Now remember, we will not tolerate any misbehavior from any student and that means no shenanigans, no messing around", he warns giving us all stern looks.

"Camp counselor Douglas will take it from here", he says giving way for Douglas.

"God, why's his nose like that?", Blake asks and Shelton chuckles.

Douglas takes the floor, "Now students, the camp cafeteria is at the other end and as you may have all figured out all cabins have bathrooms",

Well I didn't even notice.

"In-case anyone where to get lost, we have a camp map on the notice board", he says just as Trevor joins him.

"Also, say hi to our camp watch Old man Herbert", Trevor says and we all look around for this so called person but no one catches a sight of him.

"That's right he's up watching us",

"Dear God", Mrs Hart says with a hand on her chest and a solemn look on her face. Trevor chuckles.

"No literally", he says pointing at a small watch tower at the far end of the camp ground. It was covered in trees so it was hard to notice.

"Please be more exact with your words Mr Trevor", Mr Walker says narrowing his eyes at him.

"Noted Mr walks",

"Walker is fine",

"Okay Walker",

"I'd appreciate if you kept the honorifics", he says through gritted teeth now.

"Oh sure", Trevor says with a subtle devilish smile.

Guess Mr Walker was worried about the wrong people bugging him. Trevor's doing the job exceptionally well.

"Dinner at seven chats", Trevor yells and everyone hollers back.

"Students.. they are students", Mr Walker tiredly corrects as he walks back to his cabin.

"Let's go find some girls", Shelton says flinging his arm across Blake's shoulders.

He gets shoved away, "Yeah, but not with you",

"Hey!", Shelton exclaims sounding hurt.

"What'd you say Hernan?", he asks and everyone turns to me.

"Uh..", I trail, itching the back of my head.

"Oh and we kinda placed a bet that you'd have tattoos after your cool entrance",

"What?", I ask in shock.

"Yeah so do you?", Blake questions and they all watch me with eager eyes. A lot of cash may have gone down then.

I don't exactly like the idea of showing people my tattoos especially since they all have a past. The only one I'm proud of is my mum's name on my forearm.

"Uh.. well, just a little", I lie.

"Fuck yeah, pay up losers", Shelton yells causing a few eyes to land on us.

Reese, Bryan, and Ossy pay Blake and Shelton a hundred dollar bill each. Okay that's a lot.

"Uh Hernandez?", we all turn to see Callie and the boys give out low oohs. You've gotta be kidding me.

She blushes at the stares, "Um I just wanted to come.. uh check on you",

"Oh I'm -",

"Who the heck is Hernandez De la Fuentes the 2nd?", Loren loudly asks grabbing the crowds attention.

"Sounds rich", a girl beside her says and a few people agree with her, nodding.

Oh no..

The boys, including Callie all look at me.

"Uh.. me?", I lift a hand up and the crowd seems interested to know who I am as people shuffle around to see who it is.

Loren turns and when she sees me, her face goes sour but not as sour as mine.

"Well fuck".
