Chapter 66: Chap 65 : British Advocate

His Chubby PrincessWords: 10309

And I thought Hernandez made an entrance with his bike, Loren made even more of an entrance. Perhaps she thinks she's in a movie or something.

And why the hell is she even here?! What subject did she flop? Or is she here as a tutor? How come though? She isn't that smart.

Ugh, why does she have to be here?. I already excluded drama from these three weeks.

"The queen has arrived", she says and if I had no self control I'd puke. I roll my eyes and when I see Hernandez does as well I laugh a bit.

"The fact that she actually thinks she's special is scary", he says and my brows bend in confusion.

"Scary?", I question.

"Well yeah", he nods, "When not so special people think they're so important.. it's kinda harmful to people who actually are",

"Hmm", I hum in response, looking at Loren again. She was having her driver take out her many luggages. She really thinks she's so special huh?.

"Hey, are these the only bags you guys packed?", Callie asks taking a good look at us and most especially me.

"Oh no, my luggage is with..", I trail, searching for him.

"Yeah this is actually all my stuff", Hernandez says as he makes a gesture with his head tilting towards the bag pack behind him.

"That's all!", Callie exclaims, shocked. It's even worse than Noah's, at least he carried a duffle bag but just a school bag?!, that's just too small.

"What's with boys and packing light?", I ask, although in his case it's packing super light.

"Uh, this is enough I guess", he shrugs and I shake my head.

"Well I guess we should start our journey", Callie says and we turn around to see all the Student Govs leading everyone up.

"I could take us all up on my bike if it's too much of a hassle to walk there", Hernandez says and while Callie's eyes brighten mine narrows.

"Uh perhaps just you and Callie can go because I doubt we can all fit in", I say as a matter of fact, looking at his bike.

"Oh yeah but isn't it too rocky, like the Principal said", Callie points out and I agree. It's actually too rocky what if something happens.

"Yeah it might be a hassle for all three of us", he says then adds, "But for me, I can go all the way up without a problem".

"So.. how many bikes do you have exactly?", I ask and he squints his eyes in thought. Must be a lot.

"About 8", he says and Callie and I exchange glances.

"8 whole bikes?!",

"Hey some people have 21 cars", he points out with his hands in the air. Well he does have a point on that.

We nod in agreement.

"C'mon now everyone, let's move in a decent and orderly manner", Adam says, leading the students up the hill to the camp grounds.

My eyes scan the environment for Noah and it catches him with his friends. My luggage still with him. Is it okay for me to be giddy about that?.

There's a loud honk from the parking lot, startles a few people especially those nearest to it. Some people curse at the driver as he drives forward.

"Out of the way people", Don yells causing the neat lines of students that Adam had created to disperse in a disorderly manner.

Asher walks with Noah to the Land Cruiser and I can't even be surprised he's here. Noah puts the luggage in the trunk and he's about to get in when Asher stops him.

I look behind to see Amber, Priscilla and fake Sabrina walk up to them. When Noah sees them he takes the luggage out and proceeds to walk away but Asher stops him.

Just as the girls get into the car, Adam marches to them with a fierce look on his face. Well someone's mad about his little effort being toyed with.

"Hey, no cars up there. Did you not hear what our Principal said?", he asks, his voice furious.

"She said it would be dangerous and doesn't this bad boy look like he'd laugh in the face of danger?", Asher questions with a well arched brow raised as he hits the car smirking.

"Think I've heard that before.. like from a cartoon", Tyrese says and I'm wondering if they brought half of the football team here.

"Yeah, it's from Steven's Universe", Asher says but Tyrese disagrees with a shake of his head.

"Nah more like a Looney tunes cartoon", he says rubbing the little stubble on his chin.

Adam scoffs so they give him their attention again, "Is the Lion King a joke to you?!",

They exchange glances then shrug and I can honestly read the sigh off his expression.

My eyes move to Noah's and it's like he can feel it so he immediately meets my eyes.

He smiles then yells, "Princess",

My forth coming smile quickly stops and as Hernandez and Callie look around for the caller I push them forward.

"Let's hit the road fellas", I say then look behind me to see him frowning. I sigh, he should know by now how I feel about his friends and how they feel about me.

"Woah.. okay", Hernandez says as him and Callie pick up the pace.

"What's the sudden rush?", Callie asks, adjusting her glasses as she looks behind. "Ooh Noah's coming",

"What?!", I exclaim loudly so she covers her ear. We turn around to see Noah walking to me with a serious face.

"I'll talk about the little ignoring later, let's go first", he says then grabs my arm pulling me with him but Hernandez grabs the other, putting me in place.

"I don't remember her saying she'd want to go with you", he says with a slight glare that Noah returns but massively.

"How many times do I have to tell you to fuck off!", Noah says as he shoves Hernandez in the chest. The action leads him to let go off me and allows Noah pull my closer.

"What is wrong with you?!", I yell as I yank my arm away from his grasp.

He scoffs, "Me? What's wrong with you? Ignoring me and then following this buzz headed lunatic",

"He's not a lunatic and he's my friend", I say harshly through gritted teeth.

I notice a few on lookers then sigh.

"I..", I trail and he cuts in.

"Fine", Noah says weakly then walks back to his crew. I notice Asher's eyes on me as I look forward.

Noah carries my luggage and doesn't even spare his friends a glance as he walks to his car. I guess he's really mad but he should keep in mind he's in the wrong.

Calling my friend a lunatic?! I'd never call Asher that.. okay maybe in my head but not in his face at least.

"Hey you shouldn't have but thanks for sticking out for me anyways", Hernandez says and I nod.

"Of course".

Noah's wrangler drives pass us with Asher in the passengers seat. Noah looks at my direction but with his eyes fixated on someone else. I look at my side where Hernandez stood to see him looking right back at Noah.

No glaring just.. looking. Don's Land Cruiser drives pass with Tyrese at the front while the girls sat comfortably behind. We continue walking when they're fully out of the way.

"Hey you okay with that?", he asks Callie, pointing at her luggage.

"Oh um, I guess a hand won't hurt", she says with a little huff, moving her glasses up to clean out the beads of sweat forming right below her eyes. I guess she's been really struggling with it.

"Sure", Hernandez says, taking the luggage from her. "Woah, what's in here?",

"That heavy?", I ask, looking down at the blue medium sized luggage. It's just like mine, what could she have packed inside.

"I'd say a body but that'll be too overboard",

"It's my dad's fault, he's just so overly precautious", she sighs with a little shake of her head as she rolls her eyes.

"My mum too, she packed flashlights", I tell them.

"My dad too. He said something about electricity going off",

"My dad doesn't even know I'm here", Hernandez says and we both look at him.

"Why not?", I ask.

"He'd be in a panic if he did", he shrugs.

"So.. isn't he going to wonder why you're gone for three weeks?", Callie asks.

"Oh I'm on vacation to him", he says and I bet my dad thinks the same.

"I wish my dad could mind his business like yours",

"Sometimes, we might think what we have isn't what we want but in reality.. it's what we need", he says and Callie looks at him, a bit confused.

"Now c'mon, starting to sound like some archaic British advocate", he tries to dismiss the topic.

"A poet actually", I laugh as we keep walking.

The sun doesn't give us the liberty to have a good walk up the hill as it's rays hit us harshly. I'm super glad I put on the extra deodorant earlier. I might have sweat patches right now but at least I'm not smelling like an ogre. No offense to Shrek.

"The school's crazy.. I only failed Geometry not P.E!", someone from behind yells and I feel attacked.

"I know this is a hard task for all of us but please calm down and move in a decent and orderly-", Adam tries to say with a mega phone now but doesn't finish.

"Shut the fuck up you twit", a male voice yells and it stirs up loud murmurings and complains in the midst of the students.

"Ugh it's freaking sunny and now there's so much noise", Callie groans covering her ears with her hands.

"Everyone's moving so slow now makes me wish we had waited behind first", Hernandez says, putting a hand over his face to shield his eyes from the sun as he looks forward at the crowd.

"Can we please move quietly, the sun isn't even helping matters", Adam says with a loud sigh.

"For real", Callie says in agreement, pulling out a sun screen from her bag. She applies it on her arms and face.

"Isn't that gonna make you extra sweaty?", I ask a bit concerned of the out come I imagine in my head. She's literally gonna be dripping like an ice cream in summer.

"Yeah but if we're gonna stay here for the next hour I don't wanna be looking like like a burnt fish stacked up in the oven by the time we get there and heaven knows when we'll even get there", she rants, mumbling to herself with a frown as she puts some on her neck.

"This is why being white is difficult, apart from the papers ion know what y'all have going on for you", Hernandez says. Well he is a bit tanned looking.

"C'mon people we're almost there", Adam speaks into the mega phone and everyone groans even if it's good news.

Right now, I kinda wished I had gone with Noah but thinking about how he insulted Hernandez I wish otherwise.

My stomach growls and I groan. Not now inner Abby.. we're in the middle of a heck ass journey and the only thing close to food I have is in my luggage. What I'd do to be munching those chips right now.

I sigh, "If I don't make it please tell my mum I tried",

Hernandez laughs, "Well I'm sure she'd be proud when you tell her yourself cause we're here", he says and I look up to see the sign.

Finally..

Welcome to study camp.
