"Main Takhat par soo jaata hu aaj, Tumhe lag jayegi."

[I will sleep on the sofa today,  you will get hurt.]

"Pair theek nahi hai, apaahich hain, lekin Humein nahi pasand humdardi."

[Legs are not good, I'm disabled, but i don't like sympathy.]

She felt like he again misunderstood her. She then thought to make things clear again.

"Nahi jaiye."

[Don't go.]

"Humein bataiye kya hua aapke saath. Hum aapko maaf karenge tabhi."

[ Tell me what happened with you. I will then forgive you.]

He stops and settles back on the bed.

He glanced at her. She was simple but pretty. She had a cotton saree on, she had to do the house chores and she would turn all sweaty by the night.

She feels strange feeling in her heart.  She wasn't angry at him she forgave him the day he punished chuttan and his friends who dishonored her in the village.
