Wanda touched her face, hastily got out of bed, and went to wash up. Calista peeled off her Bathrobe, revealing the slip dress she wore beneath. Then, the sound of running water and Wandaâs voice echoed from the bathroom.
âCallie, why donât you stay with me for the next few days? Iâll do my best to bring Kallum to heel soon! Iâll discuss this with Old Mr. Yancey tomorrowâ¦.â Her voice trailed off toward the end, clearly lost in her own thoughts.
