Today I have Extra work to complete in
the office. That's why today I decided to work overtime. I sorted out all the contracts after three hours and collected the documents to take their print out
As I opened the door of my cabin to go to the printing room. I saw that Currently no one was present in the office. They all left. It means Now I am alone in this whole
Floor
I really want to finish my work and leave
to my home as soon as possible. I am afraid of being alone in an empty office.
There were no one at the 25th floors at all. Now it was 10:00 pm in the evening
I walked to the printing room and started the machine. It was almost complete, but suddenly, the printer stopped. The printing room and the whole hall outside had sunk into darkness
It was a dark and deadly scene. My soul is almost gone. I am afraid of darkness. I have rushed to the door in a hurry but when I opened the door, I realized ..it was locked
Yes the door was locked from outside.
I tried hard but I couldn't open it. I don't understand what is happening. How can the door be closed from outside suddenly ? Something is fishy
When I couldn't do anything I slammed the door and shouted. It was a pity that here is no one who can hear me. Outside is a pin drop silence. I got panicked. No one can save me now. Today
I am surely gonna die
I don't care about myself and my life but I do care for my brother and my Massi. My Brother is my responsibility. If something happens to me then who will take care of him. He will be alone without me.

The front, The back, The right and the left
as well as the surroundings were all dark.
The only thing I could see is a small skylight which was coming from the outside through a glass window.
But it was all useless
I felt bit stiffy in my chest. I couldn't breath properly. Somehow I managed to reach at the corner near the glass window. From where the skylight was coming. I fumbled in the corner of the wall and grabbed my chest with my right hand. I pressed my left hand to the cold floor and sat there at the ground
My Heart was beating wildly and my whole body shivered by fear. I was so scared. I tried to find my phone in my jeans pocket but I couldn't find. What a pity ? When I came here I forgot my phone at my cabin
At the moment of despair, I once again patted the glass door with my hands.
With a trembling voice I called for help
But no one answered me
Do I have spend a whole night here in the darkness ? Why is here suddenly a power outage ? Why did no one discover my existence ? Am I this much unlucky ?
Thinking of my fate, tears rolled down at my face. I wiped my tears away and patted the glass door again and shouted until my voice was hoarse
I don't think that anyone will come here to save me. I lost my all hope. Time passed by minute by minute and my patience was slowly consuming. The fear in my heart was terrible. It was as if I am going to be devoured by death in the next second.
I couldn't Leave alive from here
I am the only one in this floor. There was no sound but only darkness. I can't contact anyone outside and no one can here me.
The feeling of being trapped in such a situation was too difficult to bear. After crying enough my strength was running out. I was so tired and hungry that I was lying on the cold ground. Slowly I begin to
lose my consciousness. I closed my eyes painfully. My throat felt dry and dry and my head ached
I had enough. Now I just want to sleep.
I gave up the thought of being saved.
As I thought that now no one will come here to save me suddenly I heard the sound of someone's footsteps from outside the glass door
Someone is coming at this floor. I wanted to speak but my throat seemed to have been blocked and there was no voice.
After some seconds the footsteps got closer to me. Suddenly I heard someone calling my name from outside
" Annika, where are you ?
Can you here me ? I am Shivaay !
When I heard his voice, I felt relieved.
He came. He really came here to save me.
I was so overwhelmed. First I couldn't believe in my fate. I thought may be I am dreaming. But when he again shouted my name, then I gain my consciousness and with my all strength I patted the glass door
and he found my spot
Annika move away and make way for me. I will smash the door
When I heard him. Somehow I immediately stand up and move backwards without looking back. I don't know what was behind me
But I got hurt with some sharp thing.
My shirt got turn and blood came out
But I endured my pain and said to him
I have made the way for you...Come in
In just three seconds the glass door infront of me had been smashed into pieces.
The glass door completely shattered and lot of pieces of glass delivered to my feet
and hurted them and I hissed with pain
When the door shattered, at that moment the light came. The entire floor lit up with lights. When I saw the light. I breathed a breath
My eyes, head and whole body was paining. I lowered my head and tears starts flowing from my eyes. I closed my eyes and said in a hoarse voice.
" I am sorry.. I have troubled you in late night " Thank you so much for coming here. Thank you so much for saving me
He didn't say anything. He just stood there
quietly in front of me . For a long time neither of us spoke a single word. In this room was a pin drop silence like the dark night outside
When I lifted my eyes and looked him
I couldn't read his expression. He was standing silently and his gazed fixed upon me. I don't know that what was he thinking ?
Before I could say anything, Suddenly a security guard ran over to the stairs
The Guard who was now standing just behind Shivaay was shivering due to the fear. He nodded to him and apologized
I am sorry CEO, I am really sorry.
Sir we have no idea that how the electricity of the 25th floor has been cut
Suddenly. It will never happen again in future sir. I am really sorry sir
Shivaay was looking so angry. His expressions was so cold. He turned towards the guard and ordered him
Check out that who locked the door of this room from outside and how suddenly the light went. If you will fail to find out the real reason behind it and if it will happen again in future then you very well know the consequences... Am I right ?
The security Guard looked Shivaay with fear nodded in response and promised
that it would never happen

When the security guard left. Shivaay walked to my side and crouched down.
He looked me with profound gaze and asked
" with whom permission you decided to stay in the office " ?
I don't know why but I have no answer of his question. I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out.
I couldn't speak anything. I was just weeping and hiccuping
He gently wiped my tears with his hand and said
Don't cry. I can't see tears in your eyes... It hurts me. Why can't you listen me ? Why can't you take care of yourself ? Why are you so careless about yourself ? If you will not take care of yourself from now on, and if
You will get hurt again in future bcoz of your carelessness then be ready for the punishment
He warned her. Annika is well aware with Shivaay's anger and his Bossy side. If he get angry then he doesn't listen to anyone.
It is very difficult to calm down his anger.
Everyone knows that. This is the reason that All are afraid from him
When she heard Shivaay's warning she gulped and didn't say anything. She knows that she is save now. So she decided to leave from there silently But Shivaay stopped her by putting his hands at her shoulders. He shooked his head and lifted her in his arms in bridal style
First Annika blushed and then she felt embarrassed. She thought If someone in company will see them in this position then what will they think about them. Of course they will think Wrong about her. That's why she told him that she can walk herself. But Shivaay glared her and then she didn't say a single word and bowed her head down. He walked straight and left from that room With Annika in his arms
