[Taehyung's Point of View]
I woke up in the middle of the night when something hard landed near my arm with the warm soft breath poking on my skin. My vision wasn't clear but it didn't take the much of me to figure out that it was Y/n, who else it could be?
I sighed in disbelief. She had invaded 90% of the bed.
"Y/n.....Y/n.....", I tried to wake her up she didn't budge an inch.
I tried to gave her a little push but saw her face scrunched. She bit her lower lip while bringing her knees to her stomach, many creases formed over her forehead. I was sure she must be in pain.
Her lips turned into a little pout causing me to briefly chuckle but I quickly shut. Why am I even looking at her? I friking hate this woman.
I gave up in waking her up and slept at the little space left for me.
Not much time passed and I was already attacked by two pairs of legs which landed right over my back, I was sleeping on my stomach.
I let out a rough breath and looked towards her while still lying under the weight of her legs.
She was looking peaceful now, I didn't want to be a satan to her peaceful sleep when I know she was in pain so I let her this way.
[Your Point of View]
I naturally woke up the next day by myself. Stretching my arms I felt something under my legs. I looked towards my legs while rubbing my eyes to have my vision clear.
I sticked out my tongue, my legs were hanging over Taehyung's waist, he was fast asleep. I was sleeping diagonally the whole night.
I needed to take care of my sleeping habits, at least here. I slowly moved my legs away looking around, the pillows were scattered, I shut my eyes tightly. Thanks lord that Taehyung was still asleep.
I stood out of the bed and kept the pillows at its original place like last night as if nothing happened.
I went for the shower before Taehyung would be awake.
When I came out after a half an hour of warm bath Taehyung was already awake.
He looked at me when I was coming out and stood up holding his back. He groaned slightly.
"What's wrong?", I asked casually.
"My back is hurting.....", he mumbled in his hoarse deep morning voice. My eyes widened.
I knew exactly why his back was hurting but if I tell him that my legs were lying over his waist the whole night he would stab me right away.
"Can you order the breakfast before I would come out, we gotta meet the Collins today.......", he said calmly.
The tenderness in his voice was physically hurting and making me guilty to cause him the back-pain.
I couldn't believe he could look and sound like this in the morning, he felt like a total different person, too soft but in reality he could make anyone's ear bleed through his sharp words.
He went for the shower till then I ordered the breakfast and started making the schedule and the things we needed to discuss in the meeting today.
The food arrived so was Taehyung.
"Have you prepared the schedule?", He asked while sitting across me on the breakfast table.
"Yes I have......", I said while checking it once again.
We started having our breakfast in silence. I gave a quick glance to him.
He was working on his phone while eating, exactly what he shouldn't be doing but who am I to interrupt him? This man would not give any heed to my words.
His gaze turned to me and I was caught staring at him. He clinched his jaw and raised his one eyebrow at me. I shook my head answering his unasked question and started having my breakfast.
After half an hour of silent breakfast session we were ready to go.
I called Mr. Collins' secretary asking about the meeting's venue.
It was just an informal meeting so Taehyung wore a casual white shirt with an unbuttoned sports coat over it but I had to dress-up formally. Wearing a pencil skirt and fitted shirt was uncomfortable during periods, my stomach had minute pain though I've taken the pills but I could bear that until the frequency stays the same.
I followed Taehyung from our room to the elevator, it was just two of us inside.
We hadn't exchanged a normal conversation since morning, it was just me telling the schedules and ideas needed to be included in the meeting, he kept on nodding to my every word looking over the laptop's screen which I was holding.
After I was done telling him I stood straight by myself. I gave him a quick subtle glance, he was looking neutral. For the first time in the century I was hesitating to initiate the conversation.
"Is your back still paining.....?", yes I was worried, I sure disliked him but I wasn't a villain to this drama.
He nodded to that too keeping the information short and crisp.
I shut up again, until he broke the silence.
"Are you okay....?", he asked, it took me few seconds to realise what he was pointing to.
"Oh.....yeah just a minor pain.....", I informed welcoming the silence once again but it didn't stay for longer.
"Collins' have two partners. Kyle Collin, the one we are meeting, and his sister. They have equal shares...... though he's a respected businessman here but he's cocky and not very much respectful towards his workers and those who works under him. I've heard his sister is alike him but I know you can handle her but still take care because this deal is important for me but as you're here you're my responsibility too just don't mess with him, try to be the least interactive to him and I'll take care of the rest.......", Taehyung informed.
He moved out as soon as the elevator's door opened. I started following him once again, to the exit.
I furrowed looking at his back, this was unusual to have these words coming from him, talking about my wellbeing. I chuckled to myself, he doesn't hate me that much I guess but he's still annoying. I rolled my eyes as a habit while quickly approaching his fast pace.
We entered the car and none of us spoke for the rest of the journey.
The car dropped us to the venue, it wasn't far from The Collins' Hotel.
A man arrived to escort us.
My phone rang up with Jade's name fleshing over the screen while we were walking ahead.
"It's Jade.....", I said looking up to Taehyung, he was still looking straight.
"Disconnect, you can talk to her later", Taehyung said firmly. I pouted disconnecting.
Jade was always fun to talk with.
I could notice a guy with coffee brown complexion sitting in the backyard of his residence, he was handsome and I instantly knew it was The Collins.
"Is he the one....?", Taehyung hummed in response to my query.
"He's hot isn't it?", I grinned to myself.
"His head is equally hot, his tongue will burn you if he starts spilling words", Taehyung commented with a slight fake smile just because Mr. Collins saw us approaching.
I furrowed and pouted to myself. Why he gotta be so blunt?!
"Nice to finally see you Mr. Kim Taehyung", Mr. Collins said as we reached him.
"Nice to see you too Mr. Kyle Collins", Kyle and Taehyung shook hands with a formal smile.
Kyle shifted his gaze towards me. I brought my hand forward for the handshake, with a formal smile stick over my face, but he slides his hands in his pockets, rejecting my handshake. I instantly felt embarrassed.
"So, is she that stupid Jade?", Kyle scoffed with a smirk. I was taken aback at the use of his words, I instantly wanted to punch him on his face for insulting my friend.
"It's Y/n.......", I corrected him, 'what a misfortune to meet you', I wanted to add.
"Oh I see.......I don't think you have any work in between us so I guess you can stir some coffee for your boss and me, the servents are on leave today......", Kyle said in a cold tone, waiting for me to say yes.
My blood was boiling and my PMS could act in killing this man right at this place.
"The kitchen counter is inside.......", he added at my blank face while sitting over his previous place gesturing Taehyung to sit as well, across him.
He started talking with Taehyung ignoring my presence, I felt insulted.
I took a quick glance at Taehyung, surprisingly he looked at me the same time.
Fine, I was doing that for my company, I thought and briefly nodded at him moving inside Kyle's house.
I entered his too large living space. It was empty and wasn't giving the vibe of anyone's regular stay there.
I spotted the kitchen right away.
I almost dropped the laptop and iPad on the empty kitchen counter.
I was boiling at that moment, Kyle was a beast. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to calm myself down before making coffee for this asshole.
I poured a lot of coffee powder with no sugar and went back to them after almost half an hour.
"Here.....", I said keeping the coffee cup in front of Kyle.
"You spent half an hour inside just for this one cup of coffee.....?", Kyle flouted.
"Mr. Kim don't drink coffee.....", I replied trying to omit aggression in my voice. He looked at Taehyung for confirmation.
I sat back on the empty chair beside Taehyung.
"I do not remember when I told you to sit down", Kyle looked at me faking a confused face. He would receive a slap anytime from me.
"Yeah I figured you've forgotten so I took the privilege by myself.....", I said looking at him while smiling sweetly.
He looked pissed off by my response but I cared the least.
Kyle picked up his cup taking the sip from his coffee.
He scrunched his face but quickly recovered resting the cup back on the table.
"This is the worst coffee I've ever tasted......", he commented piercing his gaze through me, was he trying to intimidate me? I could kick him down there for doing that.
"Really? I was just trying to tell you the difference between a secretary and a servant.......", I smiled at him sweetly, I could see him clinching his teeth.
"Y/n you can go and wait in the car......", Taehyung told me before Kyle could insult me more. I wasted no time and got up to walk away from these two men.
I sat inside the car, I was still furious. Why I have these men in my life? Who know nothing but to insult me?
I was feeling tired due to the excessive blood flow. I rubbed my stomach while letting the cold air hit my face. I rest my back to the backseat making myself comfortable and closed my eyes.
[Taehyung's Point of View]
I shook hands with Kyle and took my leave.
I walked towards the car, meanwhile I also ordered the dinner.
I already noticed Y/n's face, on reaching near the car, from the the open window of it. She was asleep, I walked to the the other side and slipped inside the car's passenger seat.
The driver arrived.
"Sir may I start?", He asked. I nodded as a reply.
He started the AC and the window's were closed. It was already evening and the temperature was just perfect outside.
The driver started and I noticed Y/n head jolted towards the window but I was quick to act and kept my palm in between.
I was holding my body out of any contact to Y/n's.
"Driver stop the car for a moment", he did as I say.
"Can you quickly go and buy a comfortable neck pillow from nearby complex", I said gently resting her head on the closed window and passing money to the driver.
"Keep the rest.....", I said and he was quick with his actions.
I sighed looking at her peaceful sleeping figure. What else was left? Was I here to baby sit her?
I looked outside into the orange sky, the sun was already setting down.
"Sir.....", The driver arrived passing me the neck rest pillow.
"Thank you.....", I replied.
I extended my hand forward to gently move her head from the window and slipped the neck pillow around her neck.
It was unbelievable how deep sleeper she was. Nonetheless she was successful in making my days and nights rough.
"Please start driving", I said to the driver who was apparently waiting for my command.
I removed my jacket keeping it on the empty space between Y/n and me and opened the laptop to continue working.
[Your Point of View]
I came alive from my deep sleep. I felt something around my neck and realized the presence of neck pillow, I removed it looking at my side.
Taehyung was sitting beside me, working over the laptop. We were still in the running car.
"Good morning......", he said sarcastically, without looking off the laptop's screen.
I gave a look to the outside, it was evening but the sky had adopted the dark colour.
"When did you come......?", I asked adjusting my posture.
"It's been just fifteen minutes......", he replied closing the laptop's screen and looking at me, intensely.
I had no idea why he was looking at me like that. Did Kyle say something?
"I'm sorry I didn't plan to be mean but he was making me furious", I was slightly scared if Kyle had cancelled the deal.
Taehyung smiled briefly but quickly switched to his usual poker face.
"I shouldn't be encouraging you but I'm proud of your smart comebacks", he chuckled.
I was confused, was he being serious? But I had never seen him genuinely smiling ever before.
"He's a true..... bastard?", he completed choosing the right word, I nodded.
"We aren't meeting him again, but his sister, because he's going out of the country for some other business purpose, also check out because his sister is his twin in all the manners", Taehyung cautioned, I just nodded to him.
I picked out my phone to go through it. My hand, unintentionally, started rubbing my stomach. It was pain plus I was famished.
"I've ordered food for you, I had my lunch with Kyle, and we had it quite late so I'm not hungry anymore", Taehyung informed as if he read my mind.
I felt being cared but I was taking nothing for granted.
In no time we reached the hotel and the driver pulled over in front of the exit.
I quickly checked my way inside as we got down but something pulled me back.
I gasped but landed near the familiar face.
"WHAâ", I almost shouted but quickly shut while staring at the face that was too close to mine.
I subtly swallowed out of nervousness. I felt a blood rush to my cheeks.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you.....", Taehyung mumbled, pulling me to him through my waist, my face felt cold. I didn't know what he was doing out of blue. I furrowed as I was unable to process his words, I was too distracted.
He tied his coat around my waist before moving back.
"Your dress has got a little stain", he informed, my eyes popped out.
"Oh.....", I felt my cheeks still burning, this time out of embarrassment.
"Y-you didn't have to do that......", I stuttered at first with my words.
"Don't over react about this tiniest thing it's not like I've kissed you", he mumbled with his unreadable neutral expressions while rolling his eyes and he walked past me.
My jaw dropped and I turned to see him walking away.
When on the earth did I say anything like that!!??
I stomped my leg and followed him ignoring few foreign gazes on me.
