I quickly took the elevator to Taehyung's floor as soon as I reached the office.
Moving all through the corridor I knocked his door before entering in.
"What's the matter?!", I spoke as soon as I saw him already there. He cocked his one eyebrow at me ruffling his hair and gesturing me to look at his laptop's screen.
I quickly moved ahead, while Taehyung getting aside to give me space.
His hands slid into his pocket, he was furious. At this point I knew he wasn't playing around. When I opened all the documents, one after another, they appeared as all blank just what he informed.
I opened my mouth to speak but he interrupted.
"Do you even know we have to mail it till afternoon and there's not much time left!!?", He raised his voice at me.
"But.....I did mail you.....", my voice was low. Of course I had mailed him but these were just the blank papers.
"Y/n just stop playing innocent card, you haven't done shit! You are not just worthy of this job! Ugh!! I'VE TRIED TO MAKE IT UNDERSTAND TO MOM BUT SHE NEVER LISTENS! DO WHATEVER AND MAKE THEM READY WITHIN HALF AN HOUR!", He screamed at me.
My eyes popped out.
"How will I do it in this short span?!", I furrowed and was furious because I spoiled my sleep for nothing?
"SO JUST FREAKING RESIGN!", He yelled again.
"DON'T SHOUT AT ME!", I screamed back, with the same frequency.
"I WILâ",
"Sir I need to talk.....", Jade interrupted, causing Mr. Taehyung to shut his big mouth.
He let out a heavy breath while pushing his hair back, he just nodded for her to continue.
This was the thing, he was good with everyone but me. Jade entered inside.
"Sir...... actually......while checking these mails I a-accidentally deleted them.....all......", Jade said, hanging her head low, my eyes widened.
"WHAT!â", Taehyung and me said in unison looking at eachother but soon looked away.
"ARE Yâ", Taehyung shut his mouth before pouring his anger over Jade. We all knew Jade was too innocent, sensitive, and clumsy, she would cry if anyone talking to her even with a little louder tone.
"I-I'm sorry I dâ", her voice cracked but I soon reached her rubbing her back.
"That's okay Jade I'll send the copies again from my system's mail......", I said with a reassuring smile but she still looked freaked out.
"I.......I tried to do the same but.....your system got corrupted and......the files started showing error......", she said the whole story. I was unable to process, I spent my whole night in that, my only dear thing, to do these documents andâwell, fuck.
"Look I don't know what you are going to do now but I want these files soon......!", Taehyung almost shouted at me again, leaving out.
I snorted
"What the fuck is wrong with him.....", I mummered in annoyance.
"Y/n I'm really sorry I never meant to do this intentionally...... I'll help you complete this......", Jade said.
"I'm fine Jade, I haven't deleted them from the application I used for proof-read, I have logged in from my email and I guess I'll find them.....can I use your system?", she instantly nodded at my request.
Before installing the application I was praying the whole time to get those back because my half and hour was about to over.
I desperately typed my ID and password and by god's grace I could see all files available.
My dramatic soul inside felt like crying the tears of happiness,
"DEMN! IT'S HEREEE!", I almost shouted out of happiness mixed with relief.
"You found em'?!", I nodded at Jade's query. She quickly looked at the screen and let out a sigh in relief.
I quickly saved them and turned them to Taehyung's mail.
"Send......", I said clicking over the 'send' option.
"Done. I've sent them to that idiot again", I said rolling my eyes. I even hated the mention of his name or him.
Jade giggled,
"Why you guys deslike eachother so much?", she questioned. I turned my chair to her's.
"I don't think any sane person will ever like him..... he's that irritating particle in the nose which you could never bear and end up sneezing......", I explained with an example.
Jade was looking at me as if I was stupid. She faked a laugh. I knew she didn't understand even a tiny bit of what I said.
"But I like him!", she retort my statement, I chuckled with subtle awkwardness.
"Yeah you are absolutely sane......", I said with low key sarcasm which I knew she could never figure out. But hurting Jade, regardless if it wasn't mean to be serious, it makes me feel guilty because she was a way too innocent.
Before she could ponder out my statement I interrupted her deep thoughts.
"Okay I'm hella sleepy, gotta go home once I meet that idiot......", I said getting up.
"And once again Jade, thank you so much for letting me use your system", I said taking my leave.
His cabin was on the same floor as Jade so I didn't need to move on the elevator for which I was glad.
I knocked his door and get in. His eyes were glued to his laptop's screen.
He must have checked his mail, which I sent, until now.
"Are you here just to stare at me?", he said leaning his back on his chair. His eyes stick over mine.
"Wish I could have a better view but unfortunately you are not Harry Styles.....", I passed him a sweet sarcastic smile.
"Thanks to lord that he doesn't know about your existence because just imagine him regretting his whole career just because he has got a fan like you", he chuckled at his own joke, which I didn't find any bit funnier.
"Hahaha, I knew you were clown", I said amusingly. He squinted his eyes causing him to look intimidating.
I swallowed. He never scares me until he looks like that.
"Ah, yeah I've mailed you the documents hope you've seen.....", I abruptly turned the conversation because he would kill me with that stare of his.
"I've seen.....", he said looking back at his laptop's screen.
He ignored my presence which caused me to frown. This man would never apologized for yelling at me, I was expecting a way too much.
When I was pondering and mentally getting furious at him, his gaze shifted to me again.
"What's wrong with you? You can get out!", he commanded.
I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Why are you insisting me to get out, are you watching porn?", I blurted out. I saw his eyes popping out.
"Are you crazy?!! Why I would do that here!?", he looked at me shaking his head in disbelief.
I shrugged at his question.
"I don't know boys are aroused 24/7", I blurted again.
"I don't.", he said with period,
"Are you not a guy?", I asked faking a frown over my forehead.
"Miss. Y/n you can get out now!", he said clinching his jaw and piercing his gaze through me.
"But wâ", he quickly turned his chair, reaching to the landline, even before I could finish my sentence.
"Security a manic has entered my cabin please get her out!", he said over the reciever.
My eyes widened.
"FINE. I'M LEAVING!", I said panicking and quickly getting out of his cabin.
"Keep watching I'll not tell anyone!", I said to him before shutting his door. He started to get up but I saw my way back.
I giggled to myself. The satisfaction I receive just by annoying him was out of the world.
I quickly took the elevator to the ground floor. I was desperate to get back home.
Quickly catching the cab, back to my home, I made a quick call to Jade.
She picked at the first ring.
"Hey babe, I need a favour from you....", I said as soon as she picked up.
"Yeah, I'm always up for you, tell me", she answered.
"Okay so, you remember right that we have this business trip within few days. I'm accompanying Taehyung on this trip but I guess I can't make it because I'm gonna hit periods sooner and my cramps are unbearable, Taehyung will sulk because he's too annoying to compensate with such problems, so it would be a great help if you go with him as you're the only one who know my work and Taehyung would be fine too. We anyway never get along together......", I paused for her to reply.
"Y/n that's a favour for me, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!! I'll definitely go!", I could clearly sense the excitement in her voice.
"Oh well thank you so much! Love yaa!", I said hanging up.
I sighed in relief.
"Let me make this guy happy for a while", I chuckled to myself.
Could he be any happier after knowing that he doesn't have to go with me on this trip.
