Katherine and Shawn entered, sharing their worries about Fannieâs well-being.
âYou need to rest, Fannie. Weâll come back another time.â
âOkay,â Fannie responded, still avoiding Bobbyâs eyes.
With no further reason to stay, Bobby left.
He returned the following day with flowers, only to find the door barred to him.
Jett exited, glanced at the flowers Bobby held, and without a word, moved past him dismissively. Fannie allowed Jett to enter.
Unable to tolerate being ignored, Bobby remained doggedly outside her hospital room. His presence became such a disruption that the hospital director felt compelled to step in. âMiss Cooper, you see, Mr. Kellyâs actions are disrupting our work.â
Feeling a headache coming on, Fannie said, âLet him in, please.â
As the sun set, the last of Fannieâs visitors left. Bobby walked in and paused, puzzled.
âWhat do you mean?â he asked.
Echoing his confusion, Fannie replied, âWhat do you mean?â
Bobby gestured towards himself, saying, âEveryone else could visit you, but not me? What have I possibly done?â
âHave you not? You pushed Jett towards me first, only to pull me away from him later. Is that your idea of fun?â
gαâηÏνððsâ¤Ã§om has it all The blank look on her face clued Bobby inâFannie was truly upset. Yet his actions hadnât been intentional. When he encouraged Jett, he just wanted to get rid of Fannie. Little did he know he would later find himself genuinely drawn to her.
âFifi, that wasnât my intention.â
âIâm not interested in your intentions,â Fannie said indifferently, not looking at him. âMust I remind you? Youâre with Judie now. Iâm not interested in being the other woman.â
Bobby wanted to explain his relationship with Judie, but Fannie didnât give him the chance.
âYou have ten minutes to leave before the paparazzi arrive and catch us together, adding to my troubles.â Her final words rendered Bobby speechless.
After exiting the hospital, he kept up with Fannieâs recovery by calling the hospital staff daily. Fannie was out of the hospital in just over a week, returning to her job bandaged.
Bobby reached out to Judie, saying, âEnsure sheâs not overworked, watch out for any bullying at work, and call me for anything you canât manage.â
Judie, who was in it for the paycheck, responded promptly, âDonât worry!â
Bobby reminded her again, âAnd keep that pretty boy away from Fannie.â
Having stolen someone elseâs partner, Bobby always feared someone would do the same to him. He had to be prepared, defending from all angles.
After ending the phone call with Bobby, Judie caught sight of Mayer making his way towards Fannieâs office. With the click-clack of her high heels echoing down the hallway, she sped up to catch up with him.
