atâre you going to do? Donât come any closer! You⦠Ah!â
The man shrieked in pain.
Lucinda had slashed the manâs face with the broken bottleâs jagged edges and blood splattered out.
His face was ruined and it hurt Like hell.
Lucindaâs eyes were cold and cruel.
She pressed the tip of the broken bottle against the manâs neck and asked in a low voice, âWho sent you?â
It was impossible for a man to bring sulfuric acid to a bar on a whim.
It had to be premeditated.
Gritting his teeth, the man remained silent.
Lucinda expressionlessly glanced at his right arm and asked, âYou threw the sulfuric acid with your right hand, am I right?â
Leon and Conor understood where she was going with this.
They pressed the man on the ground, stepped hard on his face with their leather shoes, and forcefully stretched his right arm out.
Lucinda slowly crouched down and mercilessly stabbed the broken bottle into the manâs right hand.
The man screamed in pain once more.
The staff of the bar shivered in fear at such a horrific sight.
Lucinda said in a cold voice, âYou donât have to spill the beans right away.
We have plenty of time.
And I happen to know plenty of ways to torture someone until they break.
â
As soon as she finished speaking, she dug the broken bottle into his hand further and even twisted it.
âAREâ
The man was in so much pain that he nearly passed out on the spot.
âIâll stab your left hand, your right foot, and then Iâll finish off with your left foot.
Howâs that sound?â
Leon and Conor dutifully pulled out the manâs left hand and pressed it against the ground.
However, just as Lucinda was about to stab the manâs left hand with the broken bottle, her wrist was grabbed from behind.
Lucinda spun around, seething with anger.
It was Kyson who halted her.
He narrowed his eyes and spoke solemnly.
âYou canât do this.
As Iâm here, Iâll take him back to the police station for questioning.
â
âHe attempted to harm me with sulfuric acid, so I defended myself.
Donât I have the right to do so?â
