The man in front, struck in the calf by Nathans shot, stumbled and leaned against a nearby tree trunk for support.
He threw a quick glance back at Nathan.
The mans face was shrouded in darkness, giving him an almost ghostly appearance.
Then he attempted to flee again. However, the injury significantly slowed him down.
He limped through the woods, dragging his injured leg.
His speed had drastically reduced compared to before.
So after a brief chase, Nathan caught up to the faltering man.
Exhausted, the man collapsed to the ground.
Nathan swiftly approached, holstered his gun, and forcefully grasped the back of the mans neck.
With a quick motion, he removed the mask on the mans face.
