Kyson nodded, his face devoid of expression, and began buttoning his suit cufflinks.
âI have to go out.
Sheâs not to be disturbed.
Do not let her leave the room when she wakes up.
I should be back before nine oâclock.
Ask the chef to prepare one more serving of breakfast.
â
âYes, Mr.
Shaw,â Connolly said with a smile on his face.
He felt a wave of satisfaction as he watched Kyson walk away.
His boss was quite considerate.
Perhaps he would have a wife soon.
Kyson went to N&L Fairy Land.
He had to drive Destinee to kindergarten, whatever happened.

After arriving at the Payne residence, Kyson traversed the winding path and finally halted at the entrance of N&L Fairy Land.
From the garden, he could discern faint laughter emanating from the villa.
It appeared to be Destineeâs voice.
The thought of sweet Destinee brought a gentle light to his eyes.
He stood quietly at the entrance, waiting to pick her up.
Ten minutes later, Lucinda and Nathan emerged with the two children.
Upon seeing Kyson, Destinee ran to him and eagerly asked for a hug.
âKyson!â
Kyson crouched down, embracing her as she approached.
He then turned to Lucinda and Nathan.
âDestinee is at risk of being late for kindergarten.
We should head off now.
â
âOkay,â Lucinda replied.
Nathan nodded slightly in agreement.
Holding Nathanâs hand, Colby pursed his lips, staring unhappily at Kyson and Destinee as they walked away, laughing.
Observing his expression, Lucinda asked, âColby, would you like to attend kindergarten as well?â
Colby shook his head.
âIâm still recovering.
Infusions consume a lot of my time.
I canât attend kindergarten Like Destinee.
â
With a detached look, he continued, âBesides, I have nothing in common with the other children.
I can already solve junior high math problems, while they struggle with basic addition and subtraction.
â
Lucinda understood.
âSo, you donât like your godfather, and naturally, you donât want to see him.
â
Colby snorted, âHeâs Destineeâs godfather, not mine.
And yes, I dislike seeing him.
He takes Destinee away every day, and it annoys me.
â
Nathan bent down, gently lifting Colby into his arms.
Due to his prolonged stay in the lab, Colby rarely enjoyed Nathanâs embrace.
He wrapped his arms around Nathanâs neck and rested his head contentedly on his broad shoulder.
Lucinda lovingly stroked Colbyâs short hair.
