Epilogue - Part Three
Milo's P.O.V -
One Year Later -
"Okay remember that you two need to be quiet." I told Florence and Jackson.
They both smiled up at me. Bella had dressed them both in a 'big sister' and 'big brother' tops and she asked Lincoln to dress the baby in the 'baby brother' onesie. Well actual she gave us the brother and sister onesie because she didn't know the gender.
Florence bounced up and down with excitement. "We will be."
Jackson nodded quickly with a toothy grin. "Quiet."
"Okay good." I smiled at them. "Come on in."
The surrogate mother expressed that she didn't want to see the baby so that she wouldn't become attached, so she had moved into a different room not long after the baby was born.
When we walked in I found Lincoln sat on the hospital bed with the baby rested on his thighs. He looked over at me and the kids with a smile.
Florence rushed over to the bed as quietly as she could, she climbed onto it and sat down beside Lincoln. I picked up Jackson and walked over to sit on the bed on the other side of Lincoln, Jackson sat on my lap and peered at the baby.
"Baby brother." Florence read his onesie. "It's a boy?"
"It is." Lincoln told her.
"So small." Jackson mumbled as he reached out to touch the baby's hair.
"Now remember he's human, so he's more fragile than the rest of you." I explained.
I had decided that I wanted a human egg donor rather than a werewolf for my biological child, I wanted to have a human child. I felt like I would be able to connect with him in a different way than the other children, we'd have our own unique bond.
"Human is no wolf?" Jackson questioned.
"Yeah." Florence nodded. "Like Papa."
"What his name?" Jackson asked leaning in to kiss the baby's head.
"This." Lincoln started as he shifted the baby in his arms. "Is Harvey."
"Baby Harvey." Florence cooed.
"Do you like you're little brother?" Lincoln asked them both.
Florence nodded not taking her eyes off Harvey. Jackson looked up at his dad with a smile.
"I love him daddy." Jackson spoke happily.
"Are you going to take care of him?" Lincoln asked with a knowing look.
Since we told Jackson he was going to be a big brother he's been incredibly excited, he knew he was going to be an alpha when he's older so he had a large desire to protect everyone especially his family. He was looking forward to caring for and protecting his younger sibling.
"I'm going to keep him safe." Jackson puffed his chest. "And beat up anyone who tries to hurt him."
"Or tell us so that we can sort it out." I corrected.
Jackson nodded. "Tell you if it's bad."
I ruffled his hair. "You're going to be as good at being a big brother as you are at being a little brother."
"Yes I will." He spoke confidently.
"Can I hold him?" Florence asked holding Harvey's hand.
Lincoln hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Okay, but let me help you."
Florence nodded happily.
Lincoln moved her away from the edge of the bed before lifting Harvey and placing him into Florence's awaiting arms. Lincoln wrapped his arm behind Florence so that he could support Harvey on both sides while still allowing Florence to have enough of his weight that it felt like she was holding him fully.
"Can he share a room with me?" Jackson asked crawling out of my lap so that he was closer to the baby.
"No, I'm sorry." I told Jackson. "He needs to be fed throughout the night so your Dad and I need to be nearby, and plus he'll be crying every few hours. You'll soon get annoyed when he wakes you up."
"No I won't." He mumbled but from the tone of his voice I could tell that he didn't even believe himself.
"Yes you will." I poked his nose. "And you know it."
He pouted at me but once his eyes landed on Harvey a smile returned to his face.
Our family was finally complete.

Five Years Later -
I took a sip of my coffee without taking my eyes off the road. I was driving home after having visited my mum for the weekend with the children. Lincoln had stayed at home because there had been sightings of a rogue in the pack's territory although no one can seem to find it.
It was the reason Lincoln was happy for me to take the kids away from the pack for the weekend, he felt like they were slightly unsafe. Lincoln was becoming paranoid and felt like he was losing control of his own pack.
"Papa?" A voice mumbled.
I smiled and looked in the rear view mirror to see that Harvey was awake unlike his siblings who were still fast asleep.
"Yes Harvey?" I remained focused on my driving, I wasn't a fan of driving at night especially with the kids. I was always worried something would suddenly appear in front of me.
"Are we almost home?" He had his head rested against the window.
"We're in pack territory now, so we should be home soon." I told him.
"Good." Harvey spoke in a tired voice. "I miss daddy."
"So do I." I smiled.
I glanced back at the mirror to see that he too had a smile on his face. Florence was sleeping in the passenger seat, I couldn't believe how old she's gotten, she's ten in a few weeks.
I glance at Jackson, he had just turned seven, he was embracing his future role as alpha and was taking leadership in every aspect of his life. Every opportunity he has to take control he tries his best to be in charge.
I knew that Lincoln as already proud of how he had stepped up to his position, as Lincoln saw it Jackson could only get better from here.
"What time is it?" Harvey yawned.
"Ten." I answered.
I had thought Florence was the happiest child but Harvey somehow beat her in that aspect. He hardly cried as a baby and he learnt to giggle at an extremely young age and even when he gets hurt he doesn't get upset.
My phone began to ring but fortunately it was connected to the car's Bluetooth so I was able to answer through that.
"Hey, where are you?" Lincoln asked me.
"Daddy!" Harvey spoke happily.
"Hey Harvey." Lincoln greeted him. "Shouldn't you be sleeping?"
"Probably." Harvey giggled.
"We're about a ten minute drive away." I answered his earlier question.
"Alright, I'll be waiting for you outside." He told me.
"Just wait inside Lincoln, it's too cold." I pointed out.
"You won't be long so it won't matter, you need help carrying the kids in anyway." Lincoln explained.
"This is just you being scared of the-" I cut myself off when I remembered that Harvey was listening. "The thing."
"Daddy's not scared of anything." Harvey informed me.
"Exactly Harvey, prove Papa wrong." Lincoln chuckled.
I turned my head to look at Harvey. "Don't listen to your da-"
Harvey's eyes widened in horror as he stared past me. "Watch out!"
My head snapped back towards the road, red eyes glowed in the dark which made me swerves the car and slam on the brakes. This woke up both Florence and Jackson who let out startled screams.
I breathed heavily as the car finally drew to a stop. The rogue landed on the car and started pulling the doors opened as the Florence and Jackson continued to scream.
"Milo! What's happening?" Lincoln shouted in alarm.
"Papa!" Harvey shouted and then everything went silent.
I glanced between each child to make sure everyone was okay. Florence was crying and shaking, Jackson was looking towards his brother in fear, except Harvey wasn't there.
I felt my heart stop as I unbuckled my seat belt and rushed out of the car looking around quickly but there was no noise or movement.
I rushed back to the car to stay with my other two children.
"Lincoln." I spoke urgently. "The rogue has taken Harvey."
"I'm on my way." Was all he said before the call ended.
It was merely minutes before Lincoln arrived but with Harvey missing it seemed to be so much longer.
He shifted into his human form and pulled me into a hug. "What way did they go?"
I noticed that both Cora and Wyatt were also close behind.
"I don't know, it's too dark." I was crying at this point, as were Florence and Jackson who were huddled in the back of the car.
"Okay, okay." Lincoln was visibly shaking as he looked around. "Cora stay here with Milo, Wyatt contact all the warriors and trackers and get them out here right now."
Their large wolf heads nodded. Cora walked over to the car while Wyatt's eyes glazed over.
"Don't worry I'll get him back before midnight." Lincoln promised as he shifted back into his wolf before running away with Wyatt.
Although Lincoln had meant his words there was still no sign of Harvey when the sun began to rise.
