Chapter Forty Two - Having Fun

Milo's P.O.V -

Lucy fell onto my bed with a large sigh, she kicked off her heels with a giggle. Alfie and I watched her with amusement before he walked over to the far side of the room to sit on his own bed while I sat down beside Lucy.

"I had a lot to drink." Lucy admitted sheepishly.

"I can tell." I smiled at her moving her hair from her face. "We can all tell."

Emilia and Aria laughed from the doorway equally as drunk as Lucy. They swayed on there feet as the approached Lucy's bed falling onto it.

"It's their fault." Lucy mumbled placing her head in my lap. "They are bad influences."

"Very bad." I cooed.

"Look Lucy." Emilia gasped excitedly bulling a small bottle from her purse. "More vodka."

"Who's up for a game of never have I ever?" Aria smirked.

***

"Never have I ever gone skinny dipping?" Emilia asked before quickly taking a shot.

I laughed doing the same before nodding my head to Lucy.

"I know, I'll do it in a minute." She mumbled. "But I might throw up."

"I feel left out." Aria frowned looking over to Alfie who was taking his shot. "How has everyone done that?"

"Because we're not prudes like you." Alfie shrugged.

"My turn!" Lucy exclaimed excitedly doing a little clap. "Never have I ever had sex with two different people in one day?"

Lucy drank a shot and I stared at her with a raised brow.

"Oh, no." She spoke looking around at everyone with wide eyes. "That was me drinking for the previous question, about skinny dipping. I should have made that clear."

"So I'm the only one drinking?" Alfie frowned filling the shot glass and drinking it quickly.

"Alfie, seriously?" Emilia shook her head.

"Of course I have." Alfie spoke as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

I looked at him curiously. "Never have I ever had sex with more than two different people in one day?"

Everyone's attention was on Alfie as he hesitantly picked up the bottle and filled the glass.

"You disgust me." Aria grimaced.

"How many?" I laughed.

"Only three." He answered dismissively.

"Only three." Emilia scoffed.

"Yeah." Alfie shrugged. "One in the morning and then a threesome at night."

"It doesn't sound that bad." I reasoned.

"Urgh, men." Emilia grumbled.

I rolled my eyes looking over at Lucy who had remained quiet during this conversation. She had wide eyes staring straight ahead as she rocked back and forth slightly.

"Lucy? Are you okay?" I asked her placing my hand on her shoulder.

"I think-" She took a shaky deep breath. "That I'm going to throw up."

She pushed my hand off her and stood up abruptly rushing to the bathroom, I could faintly hear the sound of her being sick.

I scrunched up my face turning to look for my crutches to see that they had fallen out of reach.

"Don't worry, I'll go." Aria told me standing up.

"Thank you." I smiled gratefully.

As she left a phone began to ring.

"Who's is that?" Alfie looked around.

Emilia picked up the phone. "Lucy's I think, someone called Wyatt."

"Answer it." Alfie urged her.

"I can't just answer Lucy's phone, it might be private." She replied.

"It's her boyfriend, you can answer it." I told her.

"If you're sure." She mumbled tapping the phone. "Oh, it's a video call."

"Hello?" Wyatt's voice filled the room, he sounded confused.

Alfie and I moved towards Emilia to get into the view of the camera.

"Hi." Emilia said with a wide smile.

"Hello." I dragged out the word as the alcohol reached my head.

"Hey." Alfie spoke shortly, he didn't appear drunk considering that he has drank the most out of all of us.

Wyatt looked at all of us for a moment not sure what to do. "Hi."

Emilia and I stared at each other for a moment, she wiggled her eyebrows causing us both to burst out laughing.

"What?" Wyatt asked making us laugh more.

Alfie took the phone from Emilia.

"They're drunk." Alfie told him.

"Makes sense." Wyatt replied. "Where's Lucy?"

I took the phone looking at Wyatt. "She's being sick in the bathroom."

His eyes widened slightly. "Is she okay?"

I shrugged but that didn't seem to reassure him. "She's just had too much to drink that's all, she's going to have an awful hangover."

Wyatt relaxed. "Is she by herself?"

"My cousin, one of Alfie's sisters, is with her." I told him.

"Okay good." Wyatt nodded. "Is anyone sober?"

"Our uncles kids are sober." Alfie replied.

"I'll be back." Emilia spoke suddenly before quickly leaving the room.

"Wyatt do you know why Milo isn't responding to my texts?" Lincoln's voice filled the room.

"He's on call with me." He responded quickly looking away from the camera.

Lincoln soon appeared on the screen, once he caught sight of me a smile spread across his face. I didn't realize I had an equally large smile until I saw myself in the corner of the screen.

"Lincoln! Hey!" I exclaimed loudly.

Alfie rolled his eyes at me. "You're so drunk."

"I am not." I spoke dismissively.

"Sure." Alfie dragged out the word sarcastically.

"Are you drunk?" Lincoln asked me amused.

I turned my attention back to the phone seeing my slightly red eyes.

"Maybe a little." I told him gesturing with my hands.

He chuckled softly. "Glad you're having fun."

"I am." I couldn't look away from Lincoln's face, his eyes. "I wish you were here."

His face brightened. "I wish I was there too."

Alfie made gagging noises beside me shoving me slightly. He would usually push me harder than that but he must still be cautious of my injuries.

"You two disgust me." He grimaced.

I let out a small sigh. "The only person who is disgusting here is you after everything we found out in never have I ever."

"You must feel the same as me Wyatt, you are around these two more than me." Alfie continued.

"Wyatt and Lucy are way more disgusting than Milo and I." Lincoln scoffed.

"That's not true." Wyatt rolled his eyes.

"I walked in on the two of you having sex, trust me you're more disgusting than us." Lincoln scrunched up his face.

Wyatt's cheeks turned red as he looked at Lincoln with a glare. I frowned trying my hardest not to imagine the scenario.

"You promised you wouldn't tell anyone about that." Wyatt gritted out.

Alfie burst out laughing causing me to do the same.

"It's not funny." Wyatt grumbled.

"He's right, it isn't funny it was disgusting." Lincoln agreed. "I think I'm scarred for life."

Wyatt narrowed his eyes at Lincoln. "I know what you mean, remember when I walked in on you having sex- oh wait you're still a virgin."

Alfie cackled while I attempted to hold back my laugh in fear of annoying Lincoln. Lincoln stared at Wyatt with a completely blank face.

"What a completely unoriginal joke." Lincoln deadpanned.

Wyatt was about to respond when Emilia returned, she had Roberto's youngest child in her arms as she approached us. The nine month old lifted his head with narrow tired eyes as he looked around the room confused. Emilia must have taken him from his room and woken him up.

Alfie gaped at her. "How drunk are you that you are waking up babies in the middle of the night?"

I nodded agreeing with Alfie. "Put him back."

"Well he's already awake now." She said taking a step forward almost tripping on the carpet.

"Pass him to me." Alfie hissed clearly annoyed with his sister. He stood up taking the child off her before sitting back down beside me.

"Swap." I mumbled.

I passed him the phone and he passed me Luca. I smiled down at him shifting him in my arms until I felt comfortable holding him.

"Who's baby is that?" Lincoln asked with wide eyes. "And should you really be holding him while you're drunk?"

"It's Roberto's kid, and no we shouldn't have him right now but for some reason Emilia thought this would be a good idea." Alfie answered glaring at his sister who ignored him.

She walked over to me crouching down beside the bed making faces at the baby, he was too tired to react to her.

"Milo, do you want me to text your mum to come get him?" Lincoln questioned.

I frowned. "Since when have you had my mum's number?"

"Oooh." Alfie wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.

I grimaced. "Disgusting."

Alfie smirked before looking back at the phone. "Don't text Gianna, she'd yell at us all and I'm pretty sure she's drunk too."

"I can't imagine your mum drunk." Lincoln mused. "So you'll be fine taking him back?"

"Alfie is sober enough to not drop him on the way, despite having drank the most." I explained.

Alfie nodded. "I'll take him back now."

Emilia booed him but didn't protest further. Alfie picked up Luca and quickly left the room while I picked up the phone.

"So this is your boyfriend?" Emilia questioned as she stared at Lincoln on the screen.

"Yeah." I nodded with a smile.

"He's hot." Emilia spoke with approval.

"I know." I agreed.

Lincoln let out an uncomfortable laugh. "Uh, thanks."

"You're welcome." Emilia smiled at him.

I felt some jealousy bubble in me but didn't let it show.

"But I'd argue that Milo is hotter than me." Lincoln commented.

"Ew, that's my cousin you're talking about." Emilia said. "I can remember when he was born, so he's still a baby to me."

She pinched my cheeks while I glared at her.

"I'm not a baby." I grumbled.

The bathroom door opened as Lucy and Aria walked out. Lucy made her way over to me before flopping into my lap and burying her head into my chest.

I chuckled wrapping the arm which wasn't holding the phone around her. I smiled at her resting my head on top of hers before returning my gaze to the phone.

"Is she alright?" Wyatt spoke concerned.

I pulled away from her looking at her face. "Lucy, Wyatt wants to know if you're okay?"

She lifted her head looking at her phone. "I'm fine, just really tired now."

"Alright." He smiled. "How about we leave so you can go to sleep?"

She nodded before burying her head in my neck clinging onto me tightly.

"I'm not sure how much we can talk to you tomorrow, your tomorrow, because we have our flight in about five hours." Lincoln explained.

"That's fine." I told him.

"I'll text you when we take off and when we land." He said. "I'm looking forward to seeing you."

My eyes widened. "Shit." I mumbled.

Wyatt stared at me in disbelief. "You didn't tell him?"

"I forgot." I exclaimed, my anxiety built in my chest. He's going to be so mad.

"You forgot to tell me what?" Lincoln asked with confusion and concern.

Aria and Emilia exchanged a look as they decided to leave the room just as Alfie walked in with a frown once he noticed the tense atmosphere. He didn't comment on it and just sat down on his bed.

"Um." I couldn't bring myself to look away from Lincoln despite not wanting to see his reaction to my words. "I'm not going to Rome, I'm going to stay here with my family."

His face scrunched up. "But-" He didn't finish his sentence seemingly at a loss for words.

"I'm sorry, I know how much you were looking forward to spending time in Italy with me." I apologized.

"I don't care about Italy, I just wanted to be with you." Lincoln mumbled. "I need you Milo."

"I know, and I'm sorry." I spoke sincerely. "But my family need me right now, and I need to be with them."

He clenched his jaw as his gaze turned into a glare. "I get it."

"You're mad at me." I stated in a soft voice.

"Yes I'm fucking mad at you Milo." He gritted out. "Because I always put you first while you constantly put me second."

"That's not true." I frowned.

"Yes it is." He growled. "You're just too fucking self absorbed to see it."

"Lincoln." I spoke calmly.

"You keep saying we'll see each other in a few days, and then a few more days." He said. "At this rate we won't see each other for weeks, maybe that's what you want."

"Lincoln." I repeated.

"That's it isn't it?" He scoffed. "You don't want to be with me anymore, fucking unbelievable."

He hung up the call before I could say anything. I tossed the phone onto the end of the bed with a sigh.

Lucy was fast asleep on me still in her dress while I was still in my suit. I guess I'm sleeping in this.

"Are you okay?" Alfie asked me concerned.

"Huh?" I looked over at him. "Yeah I'm fine, he'll calm down overnight. We'll talk things through in the morning."

"Do you two argue a lot?" Alfie asked as he stood up to change into his pajamas.

"No." I shook my head instantly. "He's just going through something at the moment."
