Chapter 105-1 Alpha Jonas and I were deep in discussion regarding the alliance wo both wanted. Their pack was in the top twenty packs, and more intportantly they shared many of our moral beliefs.
âHoney,â Amie mindlinked me to get my attention. I looked at her and saw her look in the opposite direction. I looked the same way and smirked as I saw Ramses and his new mate come walking. Both were sporting a new mate mark. They had been gone for a couple of hours and looked happy as they walked up to us. Ramses d a relaxed, soft smile on his face I had never seen on him before. It made him look younger and I liked it. Kalya had a determined look on her face.
âMom, dad. Alpha Finlay and Luna Amie, Ramses and I have decided what we want to do. Iâm going to be moving to the Blue Mountain pack. I love our pack, but I need a change and Ramses has built a house that is waiting for us. I know we will be happy wherever we are so that is what we will do,â she told us. Her parents were smiling.
âThat is nice, bug, but itâs custom to ask the Alpha of the pack you are moving to if thatâs okay,â her father told her and chuckled.
âOh shit. Iâm sorry Alpha Finlay, Luna Amie. May I please join your pack?â Kalya asked and turned towards us. I liked her. Amie looked at me and we both laughed.
âWe would be happy to have you,â I told her. âRamses why donât you go back with the Winter Peak pack and help your mate pack and get ready to leave. We will make sure the two of you get back home when itâs time. We can spare you for a week or two,â I added..
âLappreciate it, Alpha. If itâs okay with you Alpha Jonas?â Ramses said.
âYou are family, itâs just Jonas. And it sounds like a great idea. That way our family can say goodbye without feeling rushed.â The couple walked away to get some food.
âThank you for letting him come back with us,â Luna Beatrice said.
âI still remember having to let Amie go for two weeks while she got her business in order before joining the pack. It was torture and we werenât even mated,â I told her.
âI have been told he was a menace to the pack,â Amie added with a giggle. Luna Beatrice giggled as well. The two had fast become friends. Alpha Jonas and I exchanged an amused look.
âIâll be right back,â I told Amie and kissed her cheek. âDonât go anywhere,â I added, just to be sure.
âOkay,â she agreed. I walked over to the food as I had seen them bring out the chocolate puddings. It was one of Amieâs favourite desserts, and I would make sure she got one of them. Alpha Jonas joined me a moment later and was plating fresh cut fruits in a bowl. I added cut up banana and whipped cream to Amieâs bowl.
âIt never changes,â Alpha Jonas said.
âWhat?â I asked. He smiled at me and looked down on the bowl in my hand.
mon been âThe need to make sure they are happy. Bea and I have been mated for twentyâeight years and I still have the instant need to make sure she has what I know she likes. I see a bowl of cut fruit and I will get a bowl of it for her with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. I donât care what Iâm doing, I will pause it and make sure she has a bowl of it. Itâs the same with anything I know she likes. I know she likes teddy bears. I have built an extra room in our house for her collection as I buy her one when I find one I know she doesnât have,â he explained. I chuckled.
âYeah. I figured it wouldnât go away. I have been the same since we met,â I confessed as I grabbed a cup of coffee for myself.
âJust wait until the first pup. Iâm amazed I survived that period of our lives. It was a close call a couple of times. Pregnancy hormones and Alpha productiveness in overdrive is not a good combination,â he told me and laughed. He also grabbed a coffee and we both walked back to our mates.
