Chapter 16: 11.𝐥𝐲𝐡𝐟𝐦𝐥

He writes while speaking "you have already made 2 designs , keep them in the project for the left over 4, make 2 designs for men collection, and the remaining 2 will be free size designs" he completes and passes the paper to max

"How are you sure this will work?" Max asks

"Who made the 2 designs?" Max and Cami raise their hand in response to Liam's question. He nods and continues "Even in the last project the designs belonged to only one size, why not try more?"

"In today's world where people want gender equality, race equality and a size-friendly environment . Even the clothes matter, as the fashion designing industry focuses on the glam part but forgets the utility of it. A designer doesn't like to adjust their designs according to the model in most cases . So make a few designs which are friendly to all the shapes and sizes, try various things and explore"

When he completes we all look at each other. Even Julian was impressed with Liam's suggestions "you are amazing" Cami praises him.

He gives us more ideas on how we can work on the themes and designs. First we were gonna design through CAD as Julian and Cami are experts in it . But Liam rejected it and said we should go with our actual hand talent. At the end we decided to do 1 design each, as I never drew for men I am going when a female design

The others have already started working on their designs as the deadline is near and we need to start working on the designs for NYX which I didn't even start. Liam is helping us with the designing too as he still has some time left

The room was silent as everyone was focused on their work , I sneezed making everyone stop doing their work and look at me "Excuse me" a wave of embarrassment took over me.They all resume their work

Cami walks to me and places her palm on my forehead "do you have a fever?" I touch my neck checking my body temperature which was slightly warm than usual "I was running late so I had to shower with cold water and I ran coming here so maybe that's why" I explain to her

"You should take the medicine soon , the weather is not good" she advises

"Did you eat breakfast?" I Shake my head "do you want me to order something for you?" She asks but I deny her offer . It might be a nuisance for everyone, they all work while I eat but it's sweet of Cami to ask me

I ignore my other thoughts and wear my earphones and listen to songs while drawing.

The moon is high

Like your friends were the night that we first met

Went home and tried to stalk you on the internet

Now I've read all of the books beside your bed

I am halfway through it but something happens and I get stuck and I try to start over but it doesn't seem to help

The wine is cold

Like the shoulder that I gave you in the street

Cat and mouse for a month or two or three

Now I wake up in the night and watch you breathe

An arm comes around and lands on the table, Liam bends over matching my sitting height, his face a little too close to mine. I cannot move and stay still looking at him. I have never looked at his face this close, his eyes are always an alluring sight for me. I would mistake his eyes for blue but they have flecks of gray. He has a tender gaze

Kiss me once 'cause you know I had a long night

Oh- Kiss me twice 'cause it's gonna be alright

Three times 'cause I've waited my whole life

Those are very wrong lyrics to listen to at the movement. I snuck in my breath, he is wearing his signature scent as always

He says something but due to the music I don't hear it , I remove one earphone but it drops from my hand, before I could pick it up Liam kneels down and picks it . Why is everything slipping off my hand? He sits on a knee and passes me my earphone

The song is still playing in the background

I like shiny things, but I'd marry you with paper rings

Uh huh, that's right

Darling, you're the one I want

If the earphone was a ring instead it would look like he is proposing to me

And he hears it and smiles, he gets up "Taylor Swift huh?" I nod and take back my earphone and stuff it in my bag aggressively

"You are doing great" he compliments examining my design. I look at him then back to the design "Really?" He nods "but I am getting stuck"

"Why don't you try a unisex design?"

I look at him in amusement, his suggestion is nice I can try it. His phone starts to ring , he excuses himself and goes out of the room . While I try to brainstorm some ideas

After sometime Liam comes back with a few food packets in his hands "I called you all in early morning, I think you all should have some breakfast" he takes out boxes and hands them to us. Julian is the first one to hop and grab them

"Thank you" I took a box myself, Liam ordered some sandwiches and fruit salad and even some coffee for us. I quickly take a bite of the sandwich, it's fresh and tastes good . Honestly when you are hungry everything tastes good.

Liam keeps a cup beside me, my mouth is stuffed with food and I probably look like a puffer fish. He chuckles and I choke on my food trying to shallow it , he grabs a water bottle and passes it to me saying "slow down"

I gulp down the water until my throat is clear

I wipe my face , ways to embarrass myself today

Liam is looking at me with a small smile on his face, does he think I am stupid?

"I don't think you are stupid" he says

"Did I say that out loud?" he nods . He takes the water bottle from my hand and keeps it aside "I brought the chamomile tea" he points at the cup

"Thanks for the last time too , it helped me" I thanked him and took the cup, touching it I realized it's warm "It helps with fever too" did he order this specifically for me? I could feel my face getting hot

He checks his watch and announces "I think I should get going"

"Already?" Cami asks

"Yes, I am getting late, I will meet you guys tomorrow" Liam says his goodbye and leaves. Max couldn't stop thanking him

"I think we should see him off" Cami insisted

Max and I got up but Julian denied "why? He is not a kid he can go by himself" and takes a bite from the sandwich which Liam brought "it's basic courtesy, he is helping us at least we should show we are grateful of him" I agree with Cami and we follow Liam out . Julian too but unwillingly

"You should thank him" Cami whispers to me and suddenly pushes me forward , Liam who is walking ahead of me turns before I could crash on him. I stopped myself. "Do you have something to say?" He asks , I look behind me where max, Cami and Julian are standing and Cami glares at me

They need to stop putting me front

I hesitate for a moment "Thank you for everything, really you helped us a lot and I own you"

"I am glad" he replies

"But what made you change your mind?" it's not a question to ask because it took a struggle for us to convince him but I am really curious "I just wanted to" he shrugged his shoulders

"Suddenly?"

He nods. I really don't understand his personality at this moment

He waits until I speak again, I don't know what to say. I look behind him where he parked his car. "I like your car." Wow, my impulsive thoughts are acting up.

I like your car? Really ?

I don't even know what model he drives. Wait, doesn't he own a bike too?

He looks at his car and then gives me a confused expression. I tried to laugh a little bit but it died in a few seconds.

"I like your hoodie, especially the quote on it."

I frown at his words and look at my hoodie. Which quote is he talking about? Words get stuck in my throat seeing what he is talking about

I am wearing a gray hoodie with 'lyhfml' written on the center in big bold letters

Jasmine didn't get any other hoodie but this one I should have checked, it's too late now uncountable people might have already noticed it

"Do you know what it means?" I hear Cami . The others have gathered around us now . Liam smirks at Camilia's question and nods, my hands are becoming sweaty now

He takes a step forward and my legs give up their strength and become giggly

Well hello Mr. Grim Reaper could you please come earlier than our appointment?

"I think it means something like 'lift your-" before he could say the whole line I put my palm on his mouth covering it and pushed him towards his car "I think you are getting late. Bye!" I shout

He smiles as my hand is on his mouth, I quickly remove it , the others are looking at us in pure horror. That was really inappropriate, Liam opens his car door before entering he whispers in my ear making sure no one hears it "nice save freckles"

Is it the day to keep embarrassing myself today? Because what's happening

I stand there like a statue until his car drives away. "Wow I didn't know you guys are that close" Cami beams .

I don't respond to that and walk back towards the class , the others follow me. A message stops me , I take out my phone to check it

Liam: 'lift your hips for me love'

It's a pretty interesting quote, don't you like it?

And I scream

He knows!

How can he know?

Why does he know!

I hope this is a dream or else I wanna bury myself 6 feet underground .My scream takes everyone aback . Cami comes and rubs my back "are you okay?"

"It's only been a minute since he left. And you are missing him already?" Julian teases me

"I think you should take a break. Come back when you feel better" Max insists and they all go back

I sit on the nearby bench under a tree. The cool Breeze makes me sneeze again.

I video call Jasmine

"Hello my love how are you doing" she greets smiling at me

"What were you thinking when you gave me this hoodie?" I ask extending my hand showing her the hoodie

She looks confused through the screen "what's wrong with the hoodie, it's nice and warm"

"I am talking about the quote" She makes an o with her mouth "come on , no one knows what it means and-" seeing my blank expression she stops talking and her eyes widened "no way! Someone knows it?"

"Yes, Liam knows what it means" I cry

Jasmine looks at the screen without moving, for a moment I think it's an internet problem but then she bursts laughing "Oh my! Do you remember once you said when someone says the meaning of 'lyhfml' you will marry that person! Should I pick out a dress for your wedding?" Jasmine jokes

"Don't tell me he knows about 'sylfml and ctm'?" She teases

I Shake my head in disbelief, this girl is not taking things seriously and doesn't know how embarrassed I am . Yes, I did say I will marry the guy who knows the meaning of 'lyhfml' but it was a joke . I didn't expect someone to actually know it, especially Liam!

"Hey! It's not a crime to read and wear that hoodie okay? Don't overthink it" Jasmine tried to calm me but I couldn't. "How am I gonna face him!" I run my hands through my hair in frustration

Here's the 2part of the chapter and the most awaited scene

For those who don't know - lyhfml is a line said by Aaron Warner in the book Ignite me it means "lift your hips for me love'" and is loved by every book lover

As for 'iicyify' said by zade meadows from cat and mouse duet which means "if I catch you I fuck you"

And yes those hoodies do exist!
