"What do you want, Ricky?" I ask out loud, phone in my hand. Obviously, I'm deeply annoyed. This boy had the audacity to wake me up at 8 in the morning by calling me. Who even wakes up at that time on weekends?
"How do you like the idea of going to buy ice cream?"
" Will Cho be there?"
"no?"
"Then I'm not interested," I reply, hanging up on Ricky.
"Who the fuck would call you at this time?" Jude says loudly, probably even more annoyed than me from being woken up at this time.
"Ricky."
"Oh," she says and then covers herself in her blankets once again.
"Jude?"
"Hm?"
"How do you like the idea of going to buy ice cream?" I ask
"Ew, no. I don't want to be seen going outside with you. That's embarrassing" Jude replies, her tone of voice disgusted
"I'll pay," I say, and almost immediately, Jude pops her head up from under the covers
"You'll pay?" she asks, and fakes thinking about it "Fine, I guess..." she says finally, rolling her eyes
"Do you mind if I invite Cho?" I ask
"Who's Cho?"
"The girl you saw a few days ago"
"I don't mind" she replies and then walks inside my bathroom to change. I take my phone and text her.

I get up from my warm bed and drag myself to my closet, looking for anything that would be good for the weather outside. I decide on a simple white dress shirt and some blue jeans. I dress fast and knock on my bathroom door
"What's taking you so long? Hurry up" I say, annoyed
"Give me a second" Jude replies, sounding even more annoyed. I sigh and sit on the floor waiting for her to come out. Honestly, now that I think about it, Jude isn't as bad as he thought. He's never really had full conversations with her until this week, and even if she's a brat, at least she's not all bad. I hear the door open and Jude walks out.
"Hurry up, I'm hungry," she says. I nod and walk into the bathroom to wash my teeth. A big bag with a label that says 'important' and is full of makeup stands by the side of the sink. I look into it and notice that, to my pleasure, Jude put the cream I gave her yesterday into the bag. Nevertheless, I don't understand why she needs so much makeup. She never even does the basics, like mascara or lip tint or anything.
I walk out of the room to see Jude on her phone, once again frowning. It's funny, to a certain point, how that is her resting face whenever she's on the device.
"Let's go," I say, and walk out of the room, Jude then following behind me.

"Jude hurry up, you said you were hungry right?"
"Yeah..."
"Alright then hurry up"
"Yeah, just give me a sec," Jude says, opening the door of our house and peeking outside "alright, let's go!" she takes my sleeve with her hand and leads us outside
"What was that about?" I ask
"What was what about?"
"Why did you have to look outside before going out?"
"I saw a wasp outside, so I was scared that it would enter" Jude replies casually, looking behind us.
"Ok then..."

"Hanbin! Hi!" Cho says, walking up to us
"hey. This is my sister by the way. You've never really met" I say. Cho looks at Jude and smiles immediately.
"Hi! I'm Cho" she says, extending her arm for Jude to take it. On the other hand, Jude just stares at the hand and takes a step backward
"I'm Jude" she replies quietly, putting her hands inside the pockets of her hoodie. Cho gets the message and takes her hand away. I then notice Hao talking to a guy a few meters away from us. He looks different, and more like the person that I had first met at the convenience store. He is smiling sweetly and talking calmly, taking the guy's arm and bowing before coming towards us. That is when the smile disappears from his face. That is until he sees a new face, and he goes back to smiling.
If I hadn't known about the whole act of being perfect that Zhang Hao puts on, I would've completely believed that he is quite literally a perfect boy without trying. His smile is just too realistic and genuine.
"Right, Jude, you've never met Zhang Hao before, have you?" I ask. She shakes her head
"Hi!" Hao says, smiling sweetly at her. Jude manages a small smile in return.
"I believe he's one year older than you, Jude" Cho says, trying to make the same smile as Zhang Hao, but it becomes slightly lopsided
"Cool" Jude says, looking down and avoiding eye contact.
"Alright, let's go get some ice cream. I haven't had breakfast yet" I say. Cho nods and we walk to the ice cream stand
"I'll get a cookies and cream," I say to the woman at the stand. She nods and smiles. Cho asks for the same thing and Jude asks for a chocolate ice cream. I turn around to Hao
"What flavor do you want?" I ask. The boy ignores me and looks at the woman
"I'll get a chocolate chip, please!" he says, smiling. The woman hands out the ice cream and I fight with Cho, trying to pay for everyone's ice cream. In the end, I win and I pay, but Cho said that next time she will pay for everyone. I agreed to it.
As I turn around to give the ice cream to Jude, I notice her looking at a group of teenagers, around her age, with a weird expression on her face.
"Hey, Jude? What's up" I whisper to her. I look at the group of teenagers who are looking at her as well
"Hanbin, I'll be right back," Jude says, voice low and quivery
"But your ice crea-" I say, but Jude is already out of sight, walking away towards the group of people

Just so that y'all can understand, Jude is a freshman, just like Yujin. Hao is a sophomore, while both Cho and Hanbin, along with their friends are Juniors.
What do y'all think is up with Jude? Who are those people with her?
Anyways, bit by bit there are more interactions between Hanbin and Hao!!
