Aditya's pov -

I was completely drained due to my work . Today there were so many patients and the whole day was so hectic that i couldn't even make out some time to eat . I was thinking about ordering something but was interrupted with a knock on the door .

I sighed leaning back on my chair before replying.

"Come in !" I said and the door opened revealing my beautiful wife entering .

"Hello ! How come you are here ?" I asked as she sat on a chair across me .

"Why ? Can't i be here ?" She asked.

"You can but it's 9:30 so it's highly unexpected of you to show up at this time !" I said and to which she nodded .

"I just knew something so i figured out I should come !" She said making me arch my eyebrows in confusion.

"What ?" I asked .

"You neither ate your lunch nor your dinner so I thought of being the bigger person and get it for you !" She said keeping the lunch box on the table .

"So now my wife has started to bring me lunch in office not bad i see !" I said looking at her to which she chuckled .

"See i am not that bad after all !" She said smiling .

"You are not bad at all !" I replied making her smile widely.

I opened the lunch box and she helped me in that .

"Have you eaten ?" I asked to which she responded shaking her head in response.

"No ! I was not hungry !" She replied and I put forward a plate infront of her .

"Here ! Have it with me !" I said looking at her and serving her too .

We talked about a few things and it was now time for her to leave .

"We could have left together !" I said as she got up .

"But you have some more right now so you just get that done ! I will waiting for you at home !" She said getting up and picking up her phone.

"Go carefully and message me once you reach !" I said as she left from there .

"Bye ! See you !" She replied before leaving .

Gauri's pov -

I was on my way to the car still smiling at this man's gestures thinking about how this man managed to change from that whole cold personality to this personality . How he made me from the woman who never smiled in anyone's embrace but now blushes under his soft gaze .

I got in my car but noticed something unusual my car door was open already before I opened it myself but i didn't pay a lot of attention to it because i could have accidentally pressed the button without realising.

"Boom !"I heard a faint voice from the back seat and the doors locked . I could very easily sense who this was and whose voice this was .

"What do you want now ?"I asked gritting my teeth in anger because now I have had enough of his dirty tricks.

"Honey ! I am here just because I missed you !" He said and i looked at him from the mirror and and he was just the one i thought he was my so-called father .

"You are a maniac ! An absolute psychopath !"I said with a voice filled with disgust still drowned in that anger and grudge that I was holding in my heart for so long .

"Honey ! I am your father ! You know how sorrowful I was when i heard about your condition and that you were in hospital !" He said and i looked at him from the mirror infuriated.

"Stop showing me your fake effects of trying to woo me thinking that you care about me because i know that you don't even give a fuck about me !"I said and he darkly chuckled.

"Is this how you talk to your father honey ? Aren't you speaking way too much now a days ?" He said gritting his teeth .

"This may not be how to talk to your father but you are not my father because you are a freak , psycho and what not !"I said snapping at him .

"I felt dejected that you didn't die that day ! I planned that crash so well but you somehow survived ! You have no idea how sad i felt after knowing that you survived and that husband of yours was not ready to even leave you for a second otherwise I would have done the thing i should have had done the day you were born myself !"He said and my eyes turned dark .

What he had just said took me and that anger that I was trying to suppress was now fuming .

"Because of you ! I lost my child ! You don't know me father ! But now you will ! You took the one thing that was the most beautiful thing that was gonna happen to me now I will show you what hell is like !"I said with my eyes fuming with anger and started the car locking all the doors and giving him a sinister smile .

"Wha-what do you think you ar-e doing ?" He asked as i turned the steering wheel to the other side which led to an abandoned jungle area .

"Nothing ! Just giving you a taste of your own medicine !" I said looking at his frightened face from the mirror .

"Ohh ! So you think that i will lose in a game that I made by myself ?"He asked giving that ridiculous Sinister smile of his .

"No ! You made the game now I will re write the rules according to me !" I said and he gritted his teeth .

I drove the car to that area which was abandoned and had a cliff . I drove closer and closer and now he could sense what I was upto .

"Wh- what are you doing ? Ar-e you mad ?" He asked stuttering.

"I wasn't but you made me !" I said and sped up .

"Are you trying to kill us ?" He said trying to open the door but I had locked it from the driver's side .

"Exactly my intentions !" I said and we're now very close to the cliff .

I turned the car to that direction and drove closer and closer to the cliff .

"Ahh !" He screamed as the car had stopped and he thought that I drove into the cliff but he was wrong .

He opened his eyes and saw that i didn't do that but instead stopped near the end .

"Why did you do that ?" He asked .

"Because I have someone at home who is waiting for me !" I said and opened his side of the door and he got out .

"You want my company then take it I am capable of making my name without it but leave me and aditya alone !" I said and he looked at me .

"Leave before i jump off this cliff infront of you !" He said and i looked at him and the replied.

"The police already know that you are here so it won't work ! Bye ! Enjoy the rest of your life in an isolated cell !" I said and the police arrived just in time and i drove back home .

Skip at home ~

"Gauri where were you ? You were not even picking up your ph- !" Before aditya could have interrogated more i hugged him . He was taken back for a second but then hugged me back .

"Are you okay my love ?" He asked me concerned.

"Yeah I am okay ! I just needed a hug !" I replied and he hugged me more tightly.

"It's okay tell me later !" He said knowing that something had happened but i just didn't want to tell him that right now .

I told him everything later at night when i calmed down and he was infuriated.

"I am gonna kill him !" He said getting up but I stopped him by holding him from his wrist and pulling him towards me .

"And how ? It's not like you can do that !" I said and he arched his eyebrows before answering.

"I am doctor if i know how to save lives then i very well also know how to take them !" He said and i looked at him .

"You have said this before and that was also for my father !" I said making him right beside me.

"Yeah so that proves that he is a jerk ! How dare he do that ! Because of his dirty plays we lost our child and what if something would have had happened to you ? I would died !" He said and i cupped his cheeks .

"Don't say that !" I said looking into his eyes .

"No matter if i even try to hide it ! It will still be truth that now i need you ! You are now a part of me so i can't function without you !" He said and i laughed at his words .

"Back to your scientific terms ? Which part am i ? Lungs , pancreas-- !" I asked laughing but before i could have completed he interrupted.

"Heart !" He said and i again laughed.

"I can't believe that being a cardiologist you can say that !" I said laughing .

"Hey don't laugh ! This is called flirting ! And there's no problem in flirting with my wife or is there any ?"He asked trying to show that he was offended.

"I just can't -- !" I was about to again speak but he pinned me down on the bed hovering above me and i was completely taken back by this action of his .

"I-i !" I was trying to say something but words were not escaping my mouth .

"Are you trying to say something sweetheart ? Go ahead !" He said and i looked here and there trying not to again blush at his words .

"I was just saying that you are cheesy !" I said still not looking at him.

"Why ? Can't i be cheesy with my wife ? And yeah look at me when I am talking otherwise i can't it make it out whether you are smiling or laughing !" He said and finally looked at him .

"It feels good !" He said and i scrunched my eyebrows in confusion .

"What feels good ?" I asked him.

"Seeing that you still have that exact expression when under my gaze "!" He said making me smile .
