The next day ( after having Mae )
It's been a day since Mae's here I still can't believe it. I'm a father to a little babygirl.
We're getting discharged today in the afternoon. Carlos is at a meeting right now I'm here with Mae in my arms.
She looks so cute and tiny I got her changed in an outfit. The nurse came in and gave me advice I'm gonna need.
I'm so thankful for that nurse she helped me so much. After feeding her and making sure she burp she fell asleep in my arms.
Not long after I'm packing the bags ready to go. Carlos came to pick us up he put Mae in her car seat.
We walked from the backside of the hospital to avoid paparazzi. Let me tell you Carlos looked so hot carrying the car seat in one hand and the other my bags.
After settling Mae in the backseat he helped me in the back. " you okay, baby. " he asked looking into my eyes.
I nodded hiding my face in my hands smiling. He chuckled closing the door and getting into the drivers side.
On the way home he stopped to get takeout because, neither one of us are gonna cook when we get home.
I scrolled through my phone answering messages. When cry's filled the car I got off my phone and checked Mae.
She pooped are you serious where in the middle of a parking lot. I see Carlos walking to the car thank god.
When he was close enough I say " she pooped wait here I'm gonna change her in the restroom.
He nodded and put the food in the car and came with me for safety reasons. She stopped crying after she had a new diaper.
We left the restroom got in the car and left. We're in the driveway of our home god I missed this place even though it's been two days.
Shortly after I put everything in it's original place there's loud cry's coming from the living room.
I walked in and saw Carlos there trying to stop her from crying. I walked over to him he handed her to me and I feed her.
I left Carlos to put her to sleep while I go upstairs and take a nap. That nap didn't last very long.
There's a knock on the door and it opens and a head peaks in. " hey brother Mae is hunger " Arthur said my head shot up.
I got out of bed looking for my phone. I look at the time it's 8pm. I got downstairs as fast as my legs got me .
Carlos saw me coming and a look of relief came over his face. He handed her to me and she stops crying.
She put her head in the crook of my neck while touching my face. I smiled before turning my head to Carlos.
" Why didn't you call me sooner amour " I said. He frowned his face and replied " you looked to peaceful and exhausted " he said looking down at the ground.
I moved closer to him and rubbed circles up and down his back telling him he can wake me up if he needs help.
