Chapter 1190: That Sounds Nice

Sarina let out a fierce scream as she cut through a group of enemy soldiers, her armor and sword dripping with blood. Nearby, the Shocktroopers stood their ground, holding the port as they awaited the arrival of the Landing Craft to extract them.
The Shocktroopers around her fought valiantly, a wall of determination and skill holding the port against overwhelming odds. Above the chaos, the hum of approaching crafts filled the air.
Relief flickered in their eyes as salvation drew near, but then it happened. A thunderous boom shattered the moment. Alliance cannons roared from the distant cliffs, their fiery projectiles streaking through the sky.
One after another, the Landing Craft erupted into blinding fireballs, raining debris and despair onto the battlefield. Sarina stumbled back, her breath catching as the shockwave rippled through the port.
The enemy surged forward with renewed ferocity, sensing the crushing blow. Gritting her teeth, she tightened her grip on her blood-soaked sword. "Hold the line!" she bellowed, rallying her comrades.
Desperation burned in her veins, but she refused to falter. If there was no escape, then they would fight to their last breath on this bloodstained ground. Hours passed and the Shocktroopers managed to hold on.
Sarina was covered in sweat and blood while standing on the port's wall while resting the sky lit up as the armies outside were covered in violet dragonfire, 'What is that?' she thought with curiosity.
"The king has come to help us!" a soldier shouted from below and when she heard that her eyes widened.
Ten black dots fell toward the ground and slammed into the ruins outside the port just as Sarina saw Archer lowering down. The Alliance was shocked but the powerhouses rushed toward him.
"This is going to be bad,' she thought as a worried expression appeared on her pretty face.
Concern flickered in her eyes, but before she could react, a flash of blue and red burst onto the battlefield. In an instant, the enemies collapsed lifelessly to the ground, revealing Queen Teuila and Seraphina standing alongside Archer.
Sarina's amazement turned to stunned disbelief as her gaze shifted forward. Towering before Archer were ten imposing giants. Clad in black armor that pulsed with an eerie white glow, each giant soldier held a powerful weapon.
'Are these the Oathkeepers that guard him?' she thought with glowing yellow eyes. 'They must be.' That's when Sarina noticed Archer looking at her with a smile before he spoke to one of the giant knights who nodded and vanished. She became confused but when the surrounding Shocktroopers yelped she turned around.
One of the giants Oathkeeper Knights stood before her as a deep voice echoed out, "My Lord wants to see you white-haired woman."
Without warning the giant grabbed her shoulder as they vanished. Sarina felt dizzy but when she spotted a masked Archer staring at her she quickly pulled herself together and smiled at him, "Your Majesty. I heard you wanted to see me."
She watched as his violet eyes gleamed but that's when a thought popped into her mind, 'Was the rumors true about his disfigurement? He does have a mask.'
"Yes but I did not expect my navy to get ambushed on the way to pick you guys up," Archer said with a magnetic voice.
When Sarina heard that a shiver went down her spine as she thought, 'No wonder he has so many women, that voice could charm anyone.'
She shook her head before answering with a big smile, "At least you appeared with the Oathkeepers. Now the Alliance will pay."
Archer quickly controlled it as they shared a passionate kiss, not long after they separated and the beautiful young woman commented with a pleased smile, "We have to go darling but I'll
see you later."
Following that, he watched them walk out of the palace before walking back to his room as the Oathkeepers protected him. When arriving back out of his room the knights guards the balcony and entrance.
He ignored them as they stood so still that they could be mistaken for statues which amused him. Archer slumped down on a nearby chair and rested his head back, an hour later the mana in the room turned chaotic.
The Oathkeepers poured into the room and circled the area causing Archer to look at Brooke appeared alongside a beautiful grey-haired woman he recognized from his journey to
Verdantia.
'Natalia Volkovitch,' he remembered her name while admiring the Pope's wife.
She had curly grey hair that went past her shoulders and glowing green eyes that sparkled
when the moonlight hit. Archer quickly noticed she was a curvy woman with big boobs
causing his eyes to narrow.
The hair on his back went up, when Brooke saw this reaction her eyes widened but that's when Ari materialized out of nowhere while holding a blade to Natalia's neck she smiled, "I mean
him no harm, Miss Ari."
Archer looked at the newcomer who continued speaking in a soft voice, "I am childhood friends with Brooke, she told me those vile creatures poisoned you along with my idiot
husband."
His eyes narrowed before waving away the Oathkeepers, "Stay back but Ari stay close as she
comes close."
Natalia smiled and started approaching while speaking, "I heard the Terravians used their new poison against you and if that's true it will take some time to heal." When Archer heard this he questioned with a raised eyebrow, "What do you mean?"
The older woman stopped in front of him before crouching down and gently taking his hands
while answering, "The poison infests every part of the body and has to be slowly destroyed or it could damage you internally."
