Chapter 12
" Silence, you uneducated peanut."
Rochelle Quinn's POV:
"How does that have anything to do with the brothers?" I inquired, my eyebrows furrowing at the baffling information.
"Because Kade isn't just a Jensen. He's a Rossi too." She mumbled, almost inaudibly.
******************
" What?"
She gulped, staring at me anxiously.
"Kade isn't Mr Jensen's son. His mom had an affair with the Rossi's father before he died." She revealed, biting her lip anxiously. "Kade got all the shit that they left behind when they left and now they're back, every single person who hurt him will pay."
"Well fuck."
She didn't reply, her eyes ran over the people near us but other then that, she didn't move.
"I....I need to go find Kade. I'll see you later, Mal." I said quickly, rushing off to the place where I was certain he'd be.
I searched and searched until I found the teenage boy sat on the schools roof, just as the late bell rings.
"Kade?"
"What do you want, Rocky?" He muttered without tearing his gaze away from the schools parking lot.
I sit next to him, my legs dangling off the roof. My breathing hitched as I looked down at the floor but I tried not to show my obvious fear.
"I'm guessing someone told you about the reasoning behind the Pact." He mumbled quietly, his fists turning white as he gripped the roof.
"Your guess is right." I replied without a trace of emotion in my voice.
"Please, don't hate me." He whispered miserably, his lip shaking from the tears threatening to take over his body.
"Why would I hate you?" I asked, my voice strangely calm, despite my inner voice wanting to punch Jackson.
"Because I'm a mistake." He mumbled so quietly that I almost didn't catch his words. "My brothers ditched me because they didn't want to be seen with the bastard kid made through an affair with a criminal."
"You're not a bastard kid. You're not responsible nor liable for your Mom's actions. And, if your brothers were decent people, it shouldn't make them love you any less. You're still their family. Half brother or not." I disagreed instantly, angered by the idea that people put that fucked up idea in his head. I tried to calm down, but I had so many questions that I didn't exactly know what to say. "These brothers...The Rossi's" The name rolled off my tongue almost naturally. "What are they like?"
For the first time, Kade's sad face had a small smile on it. "There's three of them. When I found out, it was really hard for me to accept because our real dads dead, and so it their mom. My oldest brother has custody over the other two. They're crazy though, all been in Juvie for something or another. But they've had my back since since the moment we all found out. No hesitation, even though I broke their circle."
"That sounds pretty awesome to be honest. I'll probably be besties with them." I chuckled, "I still don't understand why I'm supposed to ignore you in school." I added seriously.
"My younger brother, Sky, was sent to Juvie in Michigan and my other brothers moved down there so he wasn't alone. I was the only Rossi left, and they had a reputation. They're not bullies but they don't like many people and normally get in trouble for fighting. Jackson Dean used to be the most popular guy in school before my brothers and I joined, both the Jensen's and the Rossi's changed that. So after the Sky was sent to Juvie, Jackson made a pact against me and swore to destroy anybody who spoke to me kindly or acknowledged my existence, because I wasn't worth it. Kace helped him, mainly because he thought that I was related to the people who were connected to Tommy's death. But they weren't connected at all, Rock. They promised me."
"I'm going to break his jaw in more places than he can count." I stated seriously, looking at my foster brother earnestly and annoyed.
He laughed again, "It's fine, they're back now. As soon as they find out, I'm pretty sure he'll never walk again."
"Hey, Kade?" He faced me as I addressed him. I smirked, "I have a plan."
*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*
I leaned against the lockers with a cigarette placed on the opening of my mouth, just casually leaning out. Kade stood next to me, his form relaxed yet apprehensive.
Right on schedule, our target strolled down the hallway with his minions in tow. Jackson shoved Kade, making him fall into me, and then laughed with his little bitches. But for once, I didn't react.
I chuckled when I heard the scream of shock that came from the teenage boy. A sudden audience formed around the boys locker, yet I didn't join them because I knew exactly what was there.
JACKSON DEAN HAS A SMALL DICK
Followed by a range of pictures of the small dick.
Sorry not sorry.
It seemed like he knew exactly who committed the hideous crime against a Royal like himself, judging by the way he was confidently yet angrily walking over to me.
I smirked at him, taking the cigarette from my teeth.
"Can I help you?" I asked sweetly, giving the boy my most famous, fake smile.
"That isn't my dick." Jackson growled, scrunching up most of the pictures in his hand.
I smirked and moved closer until I could feel his breath against my face. "Prove it, asshole."
I smiled again, biting my lip seductively. I linked my arm with Kade's and walked with him down the corridor, listening to the murmurs spreading around by the second.
"Whose nudes was that?" My foster brother questioned, sounding awfully curious.
"Ex boyfriends." I shrugged nonchalantly, my lips curling back in disgust as I considered my shocking taste in men.
"Your ex boyfriend has a small dick then." He stated matter-of-factly.
I sent him a look that basically said 'are you being serious? '
"That's why he's an ex boyfriend, not my boyfriend." I rolled my eyes humorously.
Unfortunately, one of Jackson's minions decided to mute all the conversation and shout over to me.
"Do you think you can get away with that?"
I laughed, the questioning of his words bringing sweet melodies to my eyes. "Silence, you uneducated peanut." I rolled my eyes. "Of course I do. Can't you see? I already have."
"His brothers can't protect him this time." The peanut warned, nodding his head in Kade's direction.
"They don't have to." I smiled this time instead of smirking. "He's my brother too."
That made Kade beam at me. It was also the first time I regarded any of the boys as my brothers.
"No he isn't, you're just some rat they picked up from the street." Peanut spat, trying to hurt me but desperately failing.
How pathetic.
I grinned, moving my shoulder backwards and slamming my fist into his sculptured face.
"Oops." I shrugged, smirking as the entire audience exploded into a fits of pure laughter.
"You'll regret that, bitch." Jackson commented, his eyes narrowing into glares that didn't do anything. I looked at him with nothing but amusement dancing recklessly in my eyes.
I walked off, dragging Kade with me. I'd already won this round.
"New girl!" A different voice spoke, followed by a chorus of gasps and whispers.
I froze.
"I think we need to talk." The voice sounded familiar at that moment, so I turned around.
Kade grinned at the two males who stood proudly down the hallway.
And so did I.
Ivan and Skylar stood down the hallway.
And judging by the stares, the same boys resembled the people who these idiots seemed to fear.
The Rossi's.
