Chapter 4

" These violent delights have violent ends."

Rochelle Quinn's POV:

"Okay, I'm not being rude but what is that?" I stared in amazement at the magical creature before me. Unknown to the brothers, I actually knew what the amazing, magnificent, extraordinary machine was.

It was a car.

To be exact, a matte black Lexus LC Coupe.

Which is what Kace so obviously stated, "We call it a car, c-a-r."

I glared at him, rolling my eyes. "The next person to spell out a word is going to end up with a broken wrist." I threatened, making them gulp. "I know what the fuck it is, I was exaggerating."

"Sure sure," Blondie cracked a grin, climbing into the car and gesturing for me to follow him.

I melted into the deluxe leather seats.

"Don't get too comfortable." Keegan warned, "Schools only a few minutes away."

My eyebrows furrowed, "Then why drive?"

"You'll see." He winked at me so I made extreme vomiting gestures, causing his brothers to laugh.

Kade shuffled closer to me, "Rocky?"

"Yeah?" I stared at his face confused.

"As soon as we get in school, I need you to ignore all relations to me and act as if I don't exist." He whispered, causing me to look at him weird.

"Why?" My eyes narrowed at the question.

He shook his head and ignored me.

After what felt like only a second, the car pulled up and Kade jumped out instantly without saying goodbye. My gaze followed him as he walked away while the car continued driving.

We pulled into a parking lot in front of a large building. Almost instantly, girls swooned over

the car, touching it, battling their eyelashes.

It was disgusting.

All the boys left the car and girls clung to them almost immediately, whispering things into their ears and giggling.

All of them except Kenzie.

And then I stepped out of the car.

The giggling stopped, thank god, but more whispers started.

It was great.

If you like people staring and talking about you.

One girl in particular glanced at me, her nose going upwards as she looked at me in disgust.

I moved forward threateningly but Dracula decided to pull me backwards, placing his arm around me.

I did the only thing that any normal person would do.

I elbowed him in the ribs.

A gasp came from the audience that my presence formed and a grunt from the vamp himself.

"I've already told you not to touch me, so don't fucking touch me." I whispered harshly in his ear, stepping away from his crouched form.

"This is Rocky Quinn." Kane, or Kace, announced, sending me a warning glare. "Our new sister."

"Foster sister." I corrected, just as loud.

"Not the point." The twin said calmly, strainfully smiling to everyone. "This is our new sister so please give her the warmest of welcomes."

Instantly, people starting shouting, and hooting, and whistling. The girls glared and the boys swooned.

"Fuck this shit, farewell brothers." I bid goodbye and walked out of the school gates, avoiding all contact with the people walking past me.

I hate the human race.

So fucking much.

"Rocky?"

I spun around, looking for the small whisperer. Kade stood silently in the shadows of an alley, watching me carefully.

I looked at him expectantly, waiting for him to talk.

"You need to go back in. Mom did a lot to get you in here and she wants you to stay." He quickly whispered. I rolled my eyes and stuck my middle finger up at him but complied with his wishes, walking back into the school.

I searched for my first class, walking around the massive building. A boy with messy, yet sexy, dark hair approached me, an elegant smirked tattooed onto his handsome features and a swagger in his walk. He had everything going for him...until he spoke.

"Hey, did it hurt when you fell from-"

I rolled my eyes and signed. "If you finish that sentence I will kick you where the sun doesn't shine."

So much for romance.

Cheesy pick-up lines, handsome guys and a tantrum.

My first day was amazing so far.

I finally found my first lesson and I walked in, 10 minutes late.

And then I found myself at the receiving end of a myriad of judgemental stares.

I scowled at the class and went to the teacher who didn't look up from her computer.

She had a striking resemblance to Nanny McPhee.

"Name, age, 3 interesting facts about yourself." Her voice was a monotone, like it was an automatic response to my presence.

I personally found it quite rude.

Joking joking, I didn't care in the slightest.

"Names Rocky Quinn." I started, before being interrupted by a boy sat on the back row.

"Aren't you the Jensen's sister?"

I ignored him.

"I'm 18 years old. 3 interesting facts about me. 1st: This is my 5th school. 2nd: I'm in foster care. 3rd: I'm an expert in boxing and judo." I listed off, carefully studying the reactions of my classmates.

"Why is it your 5th school?" Another Barbie Doll asked, her thick, black eyebrows went half way up her hairline as she asked the question.

"I was excluded from my last schools." I replied exhaustively. The boy from before looked intrigued and was looking at me as if he was trying to see through me.

"Why?"

"I think the first one was fighting. Second was egging the teachers. If I remember correctly, third was for spray painting 'One big school full of fake bitches" across the school building. And last but not least, in my fourth school I broke someone's nose and punched the principal." I blew a bubble with my chewing gum as the boring teacher began paying attention.

She narrowed her eyes at me, "I hope you're not planning to cause any trouble here."

I shrugged, a wolfish and cheeky grin on my face. "I guess we'll find out soon, Nanny McPhee."

I took a seat next to a quiet kid at the front of the class, with a perfect view of Nanny McPhee's red face.

"Considering your track record, I assume you've never been introduced to the beauty of a man called William Shakespeare." She spoke smugly, trying to outsmart me. I glared at her.

"Explain yourself further, Miss McPhee." I answered with clenched teeth.

"William Shakespeare work was simply beautiful, however judging by your....background, I assume you've never had the luxury of learning about him." The class chuckled. "We will be studying about some of Shakespeare's greatest plays of all time; Macbeth, The Tempest and Romeo and Juliet. Assuming you've never heard of them before, I'll let you introduce yourself to them in your spare time."

She was trying to embarrass me, the whole class was laughing except from the one boy sat in the back.

Kenzie.

I stood up, looking straight into Miss Bobble Nose's eyes. "Two households, both alike in dignity. In fair Verona, where we lay our scene. From ancient grudge break to new mutiny. Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean. From forth the fatal loins of these two foes. A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life. Whose misadventured piteous overthrows. Do with their death bury their parents' strife. " She stared at me in shock. "Be bloody, bold, and resolute. Laugh to scorn the power of man, for none of woman born shall harm Macbeth. We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life is rounded with a sleep. Fair is foul, and foul is fair. Fair is foul and foul is fair." I said in a singing voice.

"Hell is empty and all the devils are here. Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing." The class had stopped laughing by now, they were staring at me in shock.

"These violent delights have violent ends. And in their triumph die, like fire and powder. Which, as they kiss, consume. " And with that line, I sat down.
