"Well? What's going on here?" Malia spoke up. The two boys froze, unsure of what to do next. Theo was a little bit more calm and relaxed, whereas Liam was freaking out. He didn't want anyone to judge him, or kick him out of the pack for being who he is.
"Do you two have an explanation?" Now Stiles was the one to speak up. Liam opened his mouth to talk but nothing came out. Theo squeezed his hand beneath the water and spoke for the both of them.
"This morning Liam and I were watching the sunrise and we got to talking, and I asked him to be my boyfriend and he said yes." Theo shrugged it off, playing it cool.
Everyone just got wide eyes. They couldn't act like they didn't see it coming but it was still a big moment. "So are you two gay?" Mason asked, looking rather too excited for the matter.
"Well I've dated other girls in the past and now Theo so I'm bi." Liam fiddled with his thumbs. "Well I'm just gay." Theo announced, kind of awkwardly.
Mason and Corey immediately swam over to them to bear hug them. It was very uncomfortable but they still hugged back, it was a welcoming gesture. Soon enough it was a group hug in the water.
"I hope you know we don't think any less of you and you guys will always be you." Liam felt tears coming down after listening to Scott. "I can finally say how excited I am that my ship has sailed!" Lydia cheered. Everyone laughed and went back to having fun in the water.

Hours later everyone was back at the campsite warming up near the fire. Everyone was in a relationship so they cuddled up with their significant other. Liam set his head close to Theo's chest, finding a soothing rhythm to his beating heart.
The boys were getting tired and decided to go back to their tents, assuming everyone else followed this action.
There's an endless loop of laughter coming from the two boys' tent. It's music to their ears, but maybe not so much to everyone else.

The two boys were still laughing, even after the messages exchanged in the chat. "You dork! Don't expose me anymore!" Theo bursted out laughing.
"I do it because I love y-." The sentence was stopped mid air, nothing left to be said. The thoughts coursing through the young beta's mind right now where terrifying. He almost said 'I love you'!
Does he mean it? Would Theo even say it back? Is everything moving to fast?
"-annoying you. I love annoying you, nerd." Liam not so subtlety plays off. Theo definitely noticed what had just, almost, happened but chose to say silent. He also didn't want to ruin the moment.
"So one more movie then go to sleep?" Theo coughed, trying to change the subject.
"Only on one condition." Liam decided to make Theo happy because of all the awkwardness. Theo scrunched his eyebrows together waiting for Theo to continue. "We have to cuddle." Liam smirked. Theo smiled, like really smiled. Liam only said this because he knew how happy it would make Theo. Not to mention how cute he is while smiling.
Everyone knows that.

After the credits Theo looked over to see Liam with his mouth parted open slightly, fast asleep. Theo quietly shut off the movie and leaned into Liam's side, while pulling the blankets further on them.
Theo softly kissed the side of Liam's head. "I love you." Theo whispered. It was so quiet and Liam was already asleep so Liam didn't hear it. Who knows, maybe it was just a way to prove Theo loves him without having to be vulnerable to emotion.
What Theo didn't know was, Liam was awake the entire time.
