The war with the hunters is officially over. Everything in Beacon Hills was at peace. Well, almost everything.
Theo Raeken.
A name known amongst the supernatural world as the enemy. Liam Dunbar never saw him this way. He always saw the best in the manipulative chimera. Sure Theo has done some awful things, but Liam looks on the bright side. He sees Theo as the guy who risked his life, multiple times, to save him from the Wild Hunt.
Everyone knows that Theo doesn't save people, so this came as a shock.
Once everything was settled down Theo disappeared. For three months. The entirety of those months Liam spent them wondering what Theo was up to. More importantly, if he was safe. He never told his friends this of course.
They would never approve of any relationship between the two, Liam knew that. He just chose to not listen.
Everyone in the pack was trained to fight the enemy. Scott and Stiles always made sure that they knew Theo wasn't the enemy but made sure to be careful around him. Liam never really followed the rules anyway.
Back when Theo showed emotion while helping, the pack slowly opened up. They were going to let him in until he left for three months.
Theo didn't know they would let him in and he thought Liam hated him, so he left. Liam never hated him. He could never hate Theo.
Liam isn't gay... right?

The entire pack was huddled around the McCall living room for a brief meeting to discuss the devil himself, Theo Raeken.
"Alright, I know I promised we could go do something fun so let's make this quick." Scott gets straight to the point.
"I don't trust him enough to rely on him in an emergency." Of course only Malia would say this, she's never trusted him. Liam was well aware of it.
"You guys hate him so much you are blinded by the fact that he's changed!"
Everyone stopped talking and looked directly at Liam. "Liam, weren't you the one who told us to not trust him in the first place?" Lydia spoke up curiously.
"Yes, but he's changed! I know he has." Liam stammered. Right when Liam said this, Mason and Corey shared a look. No one payed to much attention to that though.
"Even if we did let him in, we have no idea where he is." Stiles pointed out the obvious. Everyone agreed. As they all kept talking about different ideas and plans, Liam stepped outside to clear his mind. He checked his messages.

Liam is a little upset looking at all the texts he's sent Theo over the months. Theo never responded but Liam always texted him. He wanted Theo to know he was still welcomed and not alone. Or maybe it was a way for Liam to not feel alone. Either way they are both lonely.
Mason came outside looking for Liam.
"Hey man it's freezing, why don't you come back inside?"
Liam didn't give Mason a glance but instead focused on the stars in the dark sky. "Do you ever think Theo is thinking of us? Thinking of coming back."
Mason was shocked at what he heard but still replied. "I think he lost hope and left you behind. But that doesn't mean he stopped thinking of you."
Liam suddenly ripped his eyes away from the sky and looked at his best friend. "I'm not into Theo or anything if that's what your thinking. I'm just vulnerable because my girlfriend left me and I don't want more people leaving."
Mason chucked. Liam looked even more annoyed now. "Alright, alright you are just vulnerable. We can stick with that."
He walked back outside leaving the beta cold and alone for the second time tonight.
After being outside for a little while longer Liam entered the house and joined his friends, who were playing Just Dance. Liam laughed and smiled at the happiness before him. He decided Theo wasn't worth it right now and spent his moments being with the people who haven't left him.

It was now 2am and the night was still thriving. Everyone was wide awake laughing and eating countless snacks. They've watched multiple movies to pass the time, and was now onto talking about random subjects.
"I'm telling you guys! Finding Nemo is cinematic gold!" Scott yelled out. We were all sleep deprived so that made everything said 10x more funny.
Everyone was still laughing and talking. Liam's phone went off with a text but it was masked by the noise of pure joy.
Awaiting to be read, the text message sat perfectly on the lock screen of his cellphone.
