However, Hedy’s couldn’t control her body. Her hands were supposed to push against Victor, but now they were forceless and already stopped resisting.

Her breath gradually became heavy, and it seemed that something had slept for a long time now started to awake.

But at this time, Victor suddenly moved away, rushed to the door, and left without looking back.

In the bathroom, Victor was washing himself with cold water.

No way. Victor wouldn’t allow herself to be a loser in this way. He had to even up the odds.

In the next morning, Hedy woke up and saw Leo was staring at her eyes.

“Mommy, did you quarrel with dad last night?”

Hedy was startled. Did Victor tell Leo what happened last night?

She nodded quickly, “Of course not.”

When thinking of that Victor always put on a play to attract Leo’s attention, so Hedy decided to put her own play on. She said, “Your daddy dislikes to sleep with me, for I was drooling after sleeping.”

“Mommy, you are lying.” Leo got off the bed to the door quickly, unlocked the door, and said, “Mommy, you locked out the door last night. Daddy absolutely can’t come in.”

Hedy grinned and felt discomfited.

Leo was smart, but sometimes, he was too smart to deal with. For example, Hedy tried not to tell what happened last night to him, but he knew she was lying.

At the same time, Victor showed up at the door, and stared at Hedy.

Hedy was flurried, and drooped her head down. But in a second, she looked up to Victor, with her eyes filled with fury.

She wasn’t supposed to lock out the door. But what did Victor do to her last night? He was like a wild beast. Without saying any word, he just jumped up and kissed her violently. What did he take her for? Did he pay any respect to her?

Seeing the furry in Hedy’s eyes, Victor’s eyebrows raised, and he snickered, “What’s wrong? Do you regret to pushed me out and locked out the door last night?”

“I don’t regret!” Hedy snapped, in a huff.

Victor mused for a split second, and sneered, “Anyway, the way you longed for me looked really lovable.”

Hedy’s face was reddened.

Leo quickly stopped the bicker, “Daddy, mommy, I am hungry now.”

“Come over here, Leo. Daddy takes you downstairs for breakfast.”

“Come over here, Leo. Mommy takes you downstairs for breakfast.”

Victor and Hedy said the same words simultaneously to Leo. They looked at each other, curling their lips, and dragged their eyes away.

Leo took both of their hands, and said, with sincerity, “I can’t imagine how you two were gonna live together without me.”

“Daddy and mommy, don’t you remember that we are a family of love and happiness?”

Victor wouldn’t put on airs in front of his son. Hearing what Leo said, he crouched down, held him in the arm, kissed him, and then said, “Of course, daddy always remembers what you said. So, daddy promises you. What happened last night was just a coincidence, and from now on, daddy will surly sleep on the same bed with your mommy.”

After Victor finished, Hedy got goose bumps all over her.

Leo looked seriously at Hedy, “Daddy gives his words already. And how do you think, mommy?”

Hedy made a hollow laugh, and said, “Leo, you are too young to understand the situation between your daddy and your mommy.”

“I grew up already. Daddy told me that I am a man. And I also know husband and wife should sleep together.” Leo said in a firm voice.

Hedy knew Leo wouldn’t allow to pass it over if she didn’t agree. So, she compromised, “Well, mommy promises you.”

Leo grinned, and said, “Let’s go downstairs for breakfast.”

The breakfast in Victor’s villa was various and tasty. Even the chef for breakfast was specially hired overseas.

“Leo, will you go with me to my company today?” Victor said while he buttered evenly on the bread and handed over to Leo.

Leo took it and immediately handed it to Hedy, and said in a pleased voice, “It’s for Mommy.”

Hedy jauntily looked at Victor and raised her eyebrows.

No matter what Victor had done to please Leo, Hedy would always be the winner at the end.

Victor gazed at Hedy, with a blank face, and buttered another bread for Leo again.

With his big and bright eyes wide open on Victor, Leo asked, “If I go with you to the company, will it bother you?”

Leo remembered the first time he went to Victor’s company. It wasn’t that easy. The company was a big one with many employees and some strict regulations.

Victor smiled, “I am the boss of the company, and you are my son. And moreover, your daddy is capable, and will solve any trouble that you make.”

Victor’s voice was full of confidence and proud as if he wanted to attract everyone’s attention in the room.

Hedy stayed in amazement, and looked away when she realized what she was looking at. She disdained herself as she looked at Victor. He was just a man with a handsome face. She wasn’t supposed to be attracted.

Leo ate a slice of buttered bread, a bowl of porridge, a half cup of mango juice, and a piece of cake. He got a hiccup and stretched his hand over his belly.

Hedy snapped, “Stop touching your belly, otherwise you will have a pumpkin belly.”

Hedy was touched. But when thinking of what he had done to her last night, she dared not to move her lips.

However, Hedy thought she had to do something, or her thunder would be stolen by Victor, “Leo, would you excuse us for a minute. I have a word to your daddy.”

Hedy was now living in Victor’ villa, but she wasn’t depending on him for living, it was just a reluctant decision. So, she surly didn’t want herself to be controlled by Victor.

Hearing Hedy was going to have a word with Victor, Leo was delighted, and grinned, “Well, daddy and mommy shall negotiate but not quarrel. We are a family of love and happiness, don’t you remember?”

“Alright.” Hedy nodded, and darted a warning look at Victor.

Victor had a spurious smile on his face, and nodded his head.

Victor and Hedy reached out to the garden. Hedy came straight to the point, “I think we shall make an agreement.”
