274 She Gets More Than She Expected

Joseph was so happy to hear Isabella saying this. He held her hand and said, “You are so nice to me today. I can’t believe it. You even cursed me in your sleep last night.”

Isabella blushed.

She glared at Joseph angrily, “I am always a nice person when you don’t provoke me!”

“Okay. Stop it.”

Joseph kissed Isabella’s hand and mocked her with a smile, “No woman dares to deliberately wipe her nose on me as you did. How audacious you are.”

“I didn’t.”

Isabella’s face turned red. She poked Joseph’s chest and said, “I didn’t do it on purpose! How many women have you held in your arms? How do you know how they cried?”

“I have several dozens of women before.”

Joseph pinched Isabella’s nose and said, “If you aren’t mean to me, you will be my only woman from now on.”

When they were laughing and teasing, Stella called out in a low voice.

Both Joseph and Isabella were surprised.

Joseph immediately put on a gentle smile and looked at her, “Stella, be a good girl. Go back to the hospital and get on with your treatment.”

Glancing at Isabella, Stella asked Joseph, “Is she your new girlfriend?”

All three were in embarrassing silence.

Isabella looked at Joseph and was uncertain if he would admit it. She pinched her palm nervously.

“This is my fiancée, Isabella.”

After pausing briefly, Joseph looked up at Stella and introduced, “Stella, I’m going to get married.”

Two women stared at Joseph at once.

Stella took a step back. She was surprised after hearing this information and looked at Joseph unbelievably.

Isabella was shocked as well.

She hadn’t thought that Joseph would admit their relationship. She hoped that he wouldn’t deny it. It would break her heart if he denied it. To her surprise, Joseph was so straightforward.

He told Stella that Isabella was his fiancée and they were going to get married.

Fiancée and girlfriend were two different identities.

Isabella was moved and almost to tears.

She had gotten more than expected.

Suddenly, she felt very happy.

“What are you looking at? Say hello to Stella.”

Joseph tugged at Isabella and reminded her, “Are you a retard? What’s on your mind?”

Joseph was still a mean and arrogant guy.

But Isabella thought that he was agreeable.

Therefore, she immediately bowed and extended her hand, saying excitedly, “Hello, Miss Bell. I’m Isabella. I am your fan. I adore you very much and admire you!”

Stella was shocked and looked at Isabella unbelievably.

Instead of reaching out her hand, she turned to Joseph and asked, “When did you guys get together?”

Joseph looked at Stella, “It was about one month ago.”

“And you are going to get married since you have known each other for only one month?” Stella asked in disbelief.

Joseph held Isabella, who was still reaching out her hand, into his arms. He looked at Stella and said, “Maybe it’s fate that brought us together.”

Joseph continued, “I wanted to kill her when I first met her. We got started off the wrong foot. But I want to spend the rest of my life with her now.”

Hearing this, Isabella happily punched Joseph and complained, “You did want to kill me. How evil you are.”

Joseph lovingly flicked her head.

Stella suddenly burst into tears.

Isabella was stunned.

It turned out that Stella still had feelings for Joseph.

It seemed that Joseph was moved as well. He released Isabella and said, “Stella.”

“I’m fine. I’m happy for you.”

Stella wiped off her tears and smiled. She looked at Isabella with swollen eyes, “She is beautiful, Joseph. How lucky you are. I let you down before. I am glad to see that you are happy.”

Isabella felt that it was strange. She glanced at Joseph, who was silent but looked seriously.

“I can go back by myself. Gerry, please drive them back.”

Stella nodded and staggered towards her pink sports car. Joseph followed her and extended his hand, “Stella.”

“I’m okay. I’m sure that I’m fine.”

Stella opened the car door. She brushed her long hair, bit her lips, and took a glance at Joseph before getting into the car.

She drove the pink sports car off. Isabella saw that Joseph put down his hand after pausing for quite a while.

Isabella felt upset somehow.

On their way back, Joseph was silent. Isabella suggested, “Darling, let’s dine out, okay?”

Joseph collected himself. He rubbed Isabella’s head lovingly and asked, “What would you like to have?”

“Everything will do.”

Isabella shook her leg and replied excitingly, “Let’s have some seafood. I had some at lunch and they were quite good. I think that you also love seafood. Let’s have some. What do say?”

Joseph nodded and spoke to Gerry, “Gerry, drive us to the best seafood restaurant nearby.”

“Yes!”

Looking at Joseph’s expression, Isabella suddenly stopped her smile.

Joseph was very supportive today. However, she had noticed that he became different after seeing Stella weeping.

After Stella left, he remained silent and looked lonely. It was rare.

Isabella thought it over and timidly asked, “Stella still loves you, doesn’t she?”
