261 Joseph, You Are a Bastard
She locked the door, opened the wardrobe to take her clothes away.
This was not, is not and will never be her home.
The man she wanted to rely on was not her Mr. Right.
There was a womanâs name engraved on ring he wore every day. If the woman was in danger, he was willing to do everything to save her.
The woman lay too deep in his heart.
Isabella suddenly remembered what Lukas had said a long time ago.
Joseph was an affectionate person. He had almost lost the right to inherit the Wilson Consortium due to a woman.
Joseph was rich and attractive, but he has had no romance although he reached his 30âs. It was not because he was a gay or a playboy, nor because he was self-centered.
He was always loving the woman.
.....
The woman was Stella. She was an actress in Hollywood and popular all over the world.
She was a beautiful woman with family, fortune, everything in her favor. Everybody loved her.
The most important thing was that she was deeply loved by Joseph.
He liked to read jewelry magazines every night before he went to bed just because the spokesperson and cover girl of it was Stella.
Compared with Stella, she didnât have any advantages.
She was far inferior to Stella. If she were a man, she would like Stella, too.
Isabella touched those beautiful clothes Joseph had bought for her. She was reluctant to leave these behind, especially the white Princess dress.
Their happiness was gone. It was time to say goodbye to the Wilsonâs.
Joseph suddenly leaned over to her and held her in arms.
She could feel his breath.
Joseph said in a low and sexy voice, âHoney, do you miss me?â
Isabella was startled and opened her eyes.
âAre you angry because I didnât call you?â
Joseph smiled and kissed her neck. âDo you want to get dressed then come to see me?â
Isabella pursed her lips and said, âWhy didnât you call me these days?â
âIt was an emergency. The police asked me to turn off the phone.â
Joseph kisses Isabellaâs neck, his hands around her waist. He explained, âI was injured and fell into coma, so I didnât call you. In fact, we just didnât meet for a few days.â
As he spoke, he hugged her, kissed her.
Isabella didnât respond. She bit her lips and asked, âDo you like me?â
âYes.â
âThen do you love me?â
Joseph said nothing.
Joseph finally realized that Isabella was strange. He let go of her and looked at her seriously.
âWho exactly is the person you saved?â Isabella asked directly.
She wanted Joseph to explain everything, without beating around the bush.
She would have no doubt that Joseph viewed Stella as his childhood sweetheart and close friend.
Or, Stella used to be his lover, but he no longer cared about her. Saving her was only out of morality.
However, Joseph acted very unnaturally. He turned around, sat down on her bed, and said in a cold voice, âSheâs my friend from a young age. You donât know her.â
âIs it a man or a woman?â Isabella asked.
âIt doesnât matter at all.â Joseph frowned and said, âWhy do you nag at me?â
Isabella noticed Josephâs irritation. She smiled helplessly and said, âJoseph, actually, I went to the airport to pick you up. I also bought a bouquet of roses and wanted you to praise me.â
Isabella clenched her fists against crying. âSunny isnât a designer. You gave up the inheritance of the Wilson Group for a woman in the past. That woman is Sunny, also Stella, right?â
Joseph was shocked and said, âIsabella, are you investigating me inwardly?â
When Isabella heard this, tears flowed down her cheeks. âThere really is no such thing as a secret. I just never understood you.â
Isabella put some clothes into her bag. Joseph asked warily, âWhat are you trying to do?â
âI am going to find my own happiness.â
âThank you for taking care of me for so long, Mr. Joseph,â Isabella said as she picked up her bag.
âAre you crazy?â
Joseph leaped up from the bed and shut down the door when Isabella opened it. He pushed Isabella against the door and shouted, âWhat if I love Stella? Itâs impossible for me to marry her! Stop mess around, or I will marry you tomorrow!â
âYou love Stella! You canât marry her because Grandpa doesnât agree, right?â
âIâm just a puppet, a child-bearer of your family, right?â Isabella was instantly enraged.
âYeah, so what?â
Joseph roared, âI can give you anything you want! Do you know how many women want to be my wife? Itâs your honor!â
Isabella slapped in his face.
âLook. Even if I, Isabella, am a bedbug, I have integrity and bottom line. My husband may not love me, but I will never allow him to love other women! You are a bastard!â
Isabella pushed Joseph away, opened the door, and walked out valiantly.
Joseph was stunned and he hurriedly limped to Isabella. âIsabella, wait. I didnât mean that. Isabella! I told you to stop.â
Isabella quickly went downstairs. Josephâs difficulty in moving his legs reminded her of paying back. She put down her bag and returned.
With soft eyes, he was about to speak when Isabella jumped up and slapped his head!
âThis is my revenge for insulting me! Iâm a woman of thought and taste!â Isabella said angrily.
âYou...â
Joseph touched his head, with eyes full of anger. âYou dare to hit me.â
