Author's POVInside a bakery she was waiting for his arrival...she came before 10 minutes.... She was wearing a simple plain kurthi which don't even have any kind of design or flowers... It's complete plain one..... The bakery was not that much crowded that day... Still people were talking loudly... It's so organic not very silent restaurant or cafe.... Even though she is a silent person she liked to be around people.... There was a small boy who's age is may be around 3-4 he was nagging his mother to buy him the cake that was inside that glass showbox.....The delight and confusion in his eyes while choosing the cake and the happy smile he had when the shopkeeper gave that to him and that Satisfactory smile in his mother face Atomatically brought smile in Uyir's face....... Exactly when her moved towards the entrance an well built man wearing a coat suit arrived in..... He did had beard but that's not too long neither less it's perfect... Same goes for his well combed hair..... That coolers showed him more handsome and manly.... But is that enough to make her say yes to him... I don't think so... She grown up with 4 brothers  all are handsome in fact more than him.... Don't ask about her father  the Ex police man..who is still a charmer and have to mention her chithapa.... The Ex CBI officer So looks can never make her fall for anyone in fact she won't notice men for more than a minute.... But with him she couldn't help but check out him..Avalum pen thane...🤭🤭( she is too women right) But her thought was not  dirty like ours.. She was confused why he came there like he was going for an formal meeting while she came like she went for normal walk.... Her mind wandering around how different both even by the looks and aura they have...... He spotted her finally and came there removing his coolers... She too stood up... He raised his hand in front for handshake... Him : Jayadev.Her : Uyir... Jayadev : you have a unique and beautiful name... I was actually mesmerizing by your name itself when amma said... Uyir : ohh.. Jayadev: Yes... Hmm can we sit and talk... Uyir : hmmm..She nodded and sat on the chair he sat opposite to her... Jayadev : you came early.... Uyir : hmmJayadev: Don't you have that idea of testing man's patience level by making him wait.... Uyir : I know the value of time... Jayadev: Thats too good to know. ... Actually I have a meeting in 2 hour...i have to leave before half an hour at least.... I think you won't take much time Uyir : I won't... He gave her a small smile... She just nodded her head.. Jayadev: I don't want this to be more formal so please be yourself.. He said.. She just smiled at him... Jayadev: I heard you are silent but this is too much.... You didn't even give one word answer.... HmmmAre you nervous to speak to me... She shook her head negatively... Jayadev: Then.... You know I actually didn't  believed when amma said you are a silent person... Come on who will believe when you are coming from such successful family.. Where everyone is best in what they do...... I am sure you do have some future plans about your career and waiting for that moment to come right... She again shook her head negatively... Jayadev: You really don't have any plans and want to be at house after marriage too.. ??? She shrugged her shoulder .. Uyir : I think yes.... Jayadev: That's fine... You might have felt less in your family right... She shook her head negatively.. Uyir : Noo.. Just when he was about to ask another question the waiter came....Jayadev : one coffee and pastry... For.. Before he say that waiter said... Waiter : 2  Egg puffs sari thane akka... ( 2 Egg puffs right akka) Uyir nodded her head and smiled at him... He went from there.. Jayadev : he knows you.. Uyir: Yes.. Jayadev : You are so simple than I thought... You didn't even denied when he said your usuals.... Are you not nervous or afraid that your image will damage if you have puffs on our first meet... Uyir : I don't think soo... Their order arrived... When he was about to continue someone shouted.. "Annov...4 tea 3 chicken puffs uh oru bunbutter jam"Jayadev looked back and then her.... Jayadev : why do you want us to meet here.... We could have went to another cafe or restaurant where we can get some privacy and we could have an peaceful conversation... Even though I will be one who is talking much... Still there won't be any disturbance right... She looked at him then the puffs... Uyir : I want to eat puffs.. Jayadev: oh.. Yeah sure... Please.... .. Uyir shook her head... Uyir : That was the answer for your questions.. Jayadev: huh... Uyir : You asked me why are we here.... Jayadev: wait....you mean We are here.. You want us to meet here because you want to eat this puffs.. She hummed her nodded her head positively.....she took a large bite..he chucked at her .. She raised her head and looked at him.. He understood she needs answer now.. Jayadev: nothing just thinking about your eating habits.... You don't even worried about others looking at you eating almost half of the puffs in single bite.. Uyir : my mother's genetics are so dominant just like her so I got her food habits... Jayadev: this was the longest sentence you spoke to me today... Uyir didn't answered she took another bite finishing the first puff...there was silence after that both didn't spoke anything... He siped his coffee and finished it too... Time to time he was stealing glances at her but she is not at all showed any kind of reaction that says she was interested... All she cared about was that puff.. She even ordered an vennila ice cream for her and now relishing it..... Just when he was about to ask her is she really want this marriage.....his phone rigged.. He excused himself and went out to speak... It's almost half an hour he didn't came back... He was still in call but it didn't seemed like she was bothered about that she was now eating plum cake.... She just love to eat just like her mother..... Jayadev realized that call was not going to stop it was regarding the new project and he was cross checking the details with his PA and the TL.... So he came in to inform that he have to leave and say sorry for making her wait.... But he was stunned like he was hypnotized by jer kholed eyes....her one hand was supporting her chin while by her right hand she was holding that fork spoon losely.. She was playing with it unknowingly.... Her eyes were not concentrated on the plate instead it was somewhere else.... He followed her gaze and found a squirrel which was trying to take that half piece cake from that place.... It was near the tree and when ever the squirrel comes near that cake piece someone pass by making that squirrel again climbs the tree... It was happening again and again... He find that funny... But she was looking at that squirrel with that much concentration like she was at that squirrel's place..... His eyes slowly observed her.... First that intoxicating eyes which adored with khol adding more intensity to her already beautiful eyes...... There was some khol smudged   below her lower eyelids... He doesn't know she didn't it intentionally or happened unknowingly...... But he know one this he is goner there itself... That call was long forgotten.... Without his permission his legs Voluntarily went near her and sat before her... Now she was looking at that squirrel but this man is looking at the siren who is in front of him.....he was in awe in seeing how expressive her eyes..... Without looking at what that squirrel he can say what's is happening there by her eye movement and expression.... His PA was talking but who is listening it..... She finally smiled and her eyes shined that means that Squirrel finally took that piece and here she took his breath away without even trying..... He saw that place for conformation... Yes that squirrel was now eating that peice of cake.... He to smiled himself..... At least that squirrel was tried hard again and again to get that cake peice but here this girl already took his heart away just by existing how.... While he was wondering.... He heard.. Uyir :Excuse me....... Hello.. Its her voice he came out of his daze and looked at her... Jayadev : Yes... What happened... Uyir : Your phone.... Jayadev: oh... That's when he saw he was still in call without thinking he switched off his phone..... Jayadev: Thank youUyir : hmmmJayadev: You are interesting... Uyir : me... Jayadev: yes.. Uyir : You are the only man who find me interesting.. Jayadev : Trust me... I am not lying.... Uyir : hmhmmm.. Jayadev : what do you think about me... Uyir : you.. Jayadev: yes.. I want to know.. Uyir : You... Speak alot... .. Jayadev: And you are women of less words... Uyir : What kind of match is this... Jayadev : I must say the perfect one..... She chuckled.... Jayadev : I didn't cracked a joke now... Uyir : You reminds me of someone.... That's why... Nothing to offend you.. Jayadev: Who...please don't say your ex lover... He said with scared expression... She giggled... Uyir : Nothing like that....its my grandfather.. Who is too good with word... Jayadev: So it's actually a compliment.. She shrugged her shoulder.. Uyir : may be... Now you are getting late for your meeting... I don't want to take your time more.... Jayadev: I won't mind... Uyir : But I do..... Bye... She stood up to leave and she already paid the bill.... But she stopped hearing his words... Jayadev: Please don't say no to this marriage... She looked back at him... Uyir : why??.. Jayadev: why not?.. She shook her head in disbelief and looked at him one last time and left through the entrance. He shouted... Jayadev: It's not good... Answer me at least a simple nod and smile won't be much right.... But seems like she didn't heard him... He sat on the chair with sad face and looked at the pastry which was untouched....... He signed and was about to leave he again heard her voice.. "Mr. Jayadev "He looked back and saw her standing at the entrance.... ... Her eyes looked at  that pastry and then back to himUyir : Don't waste food... She said and left... He stood there in daze.............
