Four of them walked out of the restaurant with Gayatri and Rahul  holding  each other's hands whereas Sanjay was walking beside Anika , watching her side profile without blinking his eye... She could feel his gaze on him and was enjoying his eyes on her..very soon they reached the parking lot .." I will drop you girls first ", Sanjay said. "No No, we came in Anika's car.. ", Gayatri said..She looked at him   then at Rahul and said, " Thank you for the delicious dinner Rahul"She once again looked at him with a smile.  their eyes met and there were unspeakable words in them"she retracted her gaze and said," Bye".She walked towards her car, drove it in front of Gayatri and said let's go.. She looked at him for one more time with a smile and drove the car onto the road..She was all smiles remembering his gaze on her..After reaching home, she took a shower and laid on the bed on her stomach and was playing with her hair  and blushing remembering him..Smile didn't  leave her lips for a second..Soon her mobile rang and it was from an unknown number.."unknown number at this time", it might be some prank call.. she disconnected it without even thinking..But it rang once again.. She thought she would kill the person if it was some prank call..She answered the call and said," who is this??" in a harsh tone.." Hey, it's me", He said..it was Sanjay.. She recognized his voice and was feeling like dancing on cloud nine and wanted to shout in excitement.. she controlled herself by closing her eyes.. took a breath and said," I don't know who you are, tell your name?""I forgot my name after meeting you, can you help me", he said.."oh really!!, where did you get my number from?" She acted as if she was angry.."Where there is a will there's a way madam", he said.."Whatever, I am not interested , good bye", she said and disconnected.. but was hoping to get his call once again.. She wanted to play with him for some time...As expected he called her once again, She smiled and answered his call  after a few rings.."What do you want??I want to listen to your voice and see your smile every day", he said..She blushed when she heard him.." That's not possible "" May I know why??""Because I don't know you""Tell me your address, I will be  in front of you so that you can see me and know me", he said. " Oh really!!!, find it out.. just like you found out my number", she said..He chuckled and asked , " Challenging me?? I will be in front of your college gate after college hours  tomorrow.. if I am successful  will you come out with me  ?? "" I will decide after seeing you tomorrow.. if you look good I will think.. and  if you turn  out to be short and fat with a big tummy I may reject you immediately", she said, controlling her chuckle.." I hope I will not disappoint you madam", he said. "Ok then ,we will meet tomorrow", she was about to disconnect the call.." Hey ,hey, don't disconnect", he said.."why?"."You took my sleep away and I will not allow you to sleep too"." Really ,what will you do??" "I will keep on calling you on your mobile""I will switch off my phone then""Don't you dare, I will find out your address and knock your bell till you come out"She chuckled listening to his threats.."Ok, what do you want me to do?? ",She asked."Keep talking ,till I fall asleep", he said.."I don't know you, what should I talk""Then talk to me, till you know me completely"Anika was smiling all through her conversation..Their conversation continued till midnight and unknowingly Anika slipped into  sleep.." Anika , Anika", he calledThere was silence at the other end.. and he could lightly hear her breathing..He understood she fell asleep..He knew that she recognized him and was playing with him otherwise she would have not talked to a random person for so long...As she was playing, he too played along with her to make her happy..He wanted this night to end as quickly as possible so that he can meet his sweetheart tomorrow..Next day, Anika couldn't concentrate on classes, imagining what will happen when she will meet Sanjay today after college.. Every second was like an hour for her..Finally when college came to an end , she rushed quickly towards the gate to see him.. She neither saw his car nor him.. She was disappointed and felt low.. Her face fell and was almost in tears."Looks like he didn't come", She thought and turned around to  walk towards the college bus and  stopped when her mobile rang..It was him. her face lit up..She took a deep breath to control her excitement and answered his call.." What, disappointed !!! not to see me??" ,he said.."Who is disappointed?? ",she pretended.."Then for whom  are you  searching for outside the college gate..""He is somewhere here" ,she checked all around her. "Where are you hiding?? "he chuckled and said, "eager to meet me.. I will not disappoint you. give me two min.. he said and disconnected the call.."A black colour car came to a halt in front of the college gate with a screech..It's his car, she recognized and walked towards the car and his musculine figure stepped out of  it..He smiled and winked at her.. and opened the door for her..She sat inside the car without looking at himHe came back to the driver seat , looked at her  with a smile on his face and started his car.Her heart was thumping heavily to sit beside him.. she couldn't dare to look at him and started looking outside the window to hide  her emotions.." Thanks for liking me", he said...."Who likes you?? ",Don't overestimate yourself.."oh really!! someone said , they will come along with me ,only if they like meI am happy that I reached your expectations.. see I am not short nor  do I have Tummy .. "She smiled as a reply to his words.Soon the car entered the gated community and stood Infront of the villa.." Is this your house?"Hmm, yes..But why did you bring me here?? "I want to talk to you  in private..I don't want to take you to the park as I don't want anyone to judge you.  and the remaining places  are all  crowded and  I cannot talk to you personally there.. so I thought my house would be the best place. come let's go.."" But your parents?? What will they think about me?" Don't worry, they don't stay here, dad brought this villa for me as this is close to college and I stay here Alone."Seeing her hesitating he said, " I know what you are thinking, just  trust me"..She nodded her head , opened the door and walked inside the house..The house was  well maintained . it didn't look like a bachelor house at all.."Anika, coffee?? ",he asked." you know how to prepare it??".."I do" , he said and walked into the kitchen..Anika started exploring the house and walked towards the room which has a balcony garden.. She liked this place.. and stood there inhaling fresh air..Sanjay walked to the balcony area with two cups in his hands..Do you like it?? He asked her giving a cup to her.Yeah, she replied.. It's my favourite place too..She smiled and took a cup from him..she tasted it and said, " ummm, it's nice. you make a good coffee.." I like cooking,  I use to help mom at home.  so learnt few recipes".." You wife is lucky then, she need not to cook" Anika blurted without thinking..He looked at her with deep feelings and said, " Then become my wife and become lucky"..Anika was shocked to hear his direct proposal.. She didn't understand how to react.. She put the coffee cup on the table and said ," I think I should go"..Before she could take the step , he grabbed her hand and said, " Please , don't go" ..Anika's heart was pounding heavily.. She turned around and was looking for a random spot to fix her gaze..He walked near her, lifted her chin and said," Look at me"..She slowly raised her eyelids and looked into his eyes..He took her hand and placed it on his heart and said," it wants you"...She looked at her hand and then into his eyes and said ," even my heart wants you" She turned around blushing...He was happy to hear her response so immediately.. He wrapped his arms around her waist  putting his head on her shoulder exhaling her unique scent and said, " Thank you for accepting me Anu"...She was happy to get a new nickname from him.. The whole evening they stood on the same balcony talking to each other.. Anika enjoys  his company by laughing at his silly jokes and Sanjay feels happy seeing her smile.Their beautiful relationship started from that day...
