Riya was staying in a working women's hostel.. As soon as she finished her work she walked towards a nearby bus stop and stood there waiting for the bus.."Hey beauty??  "Come with me"a guy at the bus stop started teasing her.. She was about to slap him but saw two more guys coming to join the previous  guy.. she started searching for something from her bag and felt relieved when her hand touched the one she was searching for..when  they came near her  she immediately took out the  pepper spray from her bag and sprayed it on their mouth and nose..Two guys collapsed but the third guy escaped and attacked Riya from behind and the spray bottle fell down.." You s***t I will show the consequences now", he was about to carry Riya away but a strong arm stopped him.It was Ashish.. He was passing through  and stopped his car when he saw Riya spraying the pepper  spray on the goons..He hit the goon severely till he collapsed..He then  called the police station and asked them to arrest these three  under eve teasing."Miss Riya, are you alright??""Yes sir , I am fine thank you so much for your help".."Where do you stay? it's been more than an hour your shift has ended and still you are standing here..Looks like you missed your bus.. "" Yes sir, I missed my bus""Come I will drop you??""Thank you sir ,  but it will be a problem for you to drop me back.. I will go back by bus..""I know you are brave and carry pepper spray in your bag but still I don't want to leave my employee in the middle of the road after seeing what happened here with her.. . just trust me and come with me..""But sir…""I am not asking for your opinion , it's my order  to my intern.. so get into the car.."Riya didn't understand how to react so she calmly followed him to the car..Ashish was nonchalant and  focused on his driving..There was a pin drop silence in the car..Riya adjusted her tone and said," I am sorry sir, I didn't know that you were my boss and  I blurted nonsense in the lift.. please don't take it to heart  and kindly  forgive me.."Ashish didn't react to  her words and asked ," Right or left"??"hummm what??""Way to your hostel , shall I take left or right??""oh!! Right sir.."Riya didn't talk to him again and remained silent..Soon the car reached her hostel.." Sir, thank you so much for your help today and sorry for my words in the lift"" Good night Miss Riya ", he said..She understood, he doesn't want to talk to her and asked her to leave.. She opened the door and said ," thank you sir"..He nodded and left..Riya felt this person was really weird.. "Whatever , I can't change him so why should I think about him".. she sneered and walked towards her hostel..*****Ashish drove his car towards his house.. After reaching he saw his mom ,dad and sister were sitting at the dining table and waiting for him.." Ashish, come quickly we all are hungry and are waiting for you",Anika said..Give me a few minutes, I will freshen up and come.Ashish walked towards his room.."He has completely changed after that incident.. I am proud that he understood  his responsibility and worked with commitment.. I am happy now that both my children can manage my business and will never let me down", Ashish's father said.." Yes dad, he has really changed..", Anika sneered..She is happy that he understood his responsibility but was worried about how completely he changed himself. The fun and easy going Ashish has now become Cold and domineering.."She sighed and waited for him..Ashish returned back quickly and the family of four started eating..After dinner, Ashish said," Dad, Anika ,I have a proposal".."What is it dear?? ",Ashish's father asked..He was happy with the recent developments of his son.. He has earned many profits overseas in the recent project he took over..He has confidence in his son's decisions now.." Dad, my proposal is to introduce a free pick and drop  cab system  for our female employees.. I know it's a burden on company but I feel this money doesn't matter when it comes to the protection of our female employees"" But Ashish , most of our employees have their own vehicles and our office is in the  middle of the city, then why do you want to spend extra money on cabs.", Anika asked.."Anika ,you are looking only at the people who have higher salaries ,what about the employees whose salary is less and can't afford their own vehicle due to financial constraints.. sometimes we even ask them to work overtime because of which they may be at risk.think of it".."I accept your proposal Ashish.. it's for a good cause.. ", Ashish's father said..Anika smiled and said, " if dad says yes then it means yes from my side too"Ashish nodded and left for his room..Ashish came back to his room, stood on the balcony and started recollecting his past..Two years ago, he was a carefree and fun loving guy.. One day he went to a club and met one of his school classmates and started flirting with her..Soon they had a few drinks and ended up in the bed.. when they  were making out his phone rang and the girl took his mobile, rejected the call and put it in silent mode so as to avoid disturbance..Few hours later , when he checked his phone there were almost 107 missed calls from Anika..Anika called him at this time, his heartbeat speedend and he quickly called her back.." Where the hell are you Ashish??  Are you even concerned about your family??", Anika roared..Her voice was hoarse.. "Anika I am sorry , I am sorry," where are you??"In the hospital??"Hospital", Ashish's heart tightened..  But why??""You idiot, dad met with an accident and there's a severe blood loss and there is no matching blood in the hospital's blood bank.. As your and dad's blood group is the same , I have been calling you ", Anika was crying..He didn't even turn back to the girl who was  looking at him blankly and said," I paid the hotel bill, you can leave tomorrow morning"..He quickly dressed up and drove like a madman to the hospital..When he reached, he saw his mom crying in Anika's embrace ." How is dad?? " , he asked..His mom stood up and slapped him hard.."I regret giving birth to you", she cried..Anika controlled her mom and made her sit on the chair..For the first time in his life his mother has hit him.. His eyes were moist..He looked at Anika.. she understood his question and said," We found a donor at the last minute"..He felt relieved when he heard her..But his happiness came to an end when the doctor came and said," we need more blood".." Doctor ,you can take mine.. we have same blood group""Nurse, take his sample and check  if it's suitable", Doctor ordered..But to their disappointment they found alcohol content in his blood and said, " they can't use it"..Anika glared at him and said," I will never forgive you if something happens to dad"Ashish felt so helpless at this time..He tried to call his friends to check with their blood group.. he found few but they all said, they drunk before sleeping""All your friends are useless just like you, there is no use calling them",Anika said in a disgusted tone.." The only help that came to her mind was Aaditya.. She called him and luckily his blood group was the same as her father's and he agreed to come and donate the blood..Ashish wanted to hug her mom and cry like a child but she was not even looking at him..He walked towards her and squatted down  ,but she said," Anika, tell him to go away from me, I don't want to see his face.."Ashish had tears in his eyes when he heard his mother , he stood at a distance and looked at her sister and mother helplessly..This was the time his family needed his support but what has he done?? He felt guilty and disgusted with himself..Very soon Aditya arrived and donated the blood..After a few days ,his father was better and was discharged .. All these days nobody talked to him.. Reaching home, he went to his father, put his head on his feet and started crying saying " Sorry"...Before his father could react, his mother came inside, took his arm, made him stand up and said," sorry for what Ashish.??.  your sister is supposed to get married and should have children for her age.. just because of your incapability she has to work in office and take care of us at home.. she doesn't have time for her personal life.. She is waiting for you to take over the company ...She feels she cannot give 100 percent in her marriage if she is  married now with so much of responsibilities"She said she will marry the day you start handling businesses and take care of work in her absence..But you are more into enjoyment, do you even care for your sister?? Do you have any responsibility towards her as a brother?? Have you ever wondered why she is not getting married??No, you will not, because you are selfish Ashish.. you just care about yourself..Every word from his  mother's mouth was piercing his heart deeply.." Yes , she was true.. What did he do to this family as a son?? nothing..It was his sister who was managing the company and family..He walked out of the room and went into his room and didn't come out for two days..Even though he was wrong.. he is still her brother..how can Anika leave him??She knocked on his door and saw Ashish standing like a child who made a mistake in front of his teacher..Anika, I am sorry for what all I did in the past few years.. but I want to prove myself and want to prove that I can even help you in the company.. can you give me a chance..", he pleaded..Anika saw guilt in his eyes.. she agreed and said, " Project in states, go there and prove yourself".."Thank you Anika.."She nodded and said, come let's eat now.. she took his arm, made him sit on the dining table and served him food.."It's true, if you have a sister she will be your second mother", he thought..And very soon he left for the states and changed himself completely..He neither touched girls nor alcohol from that day.He has learnt his lesson for life that day..
